 New Year's Mystery Egg RNG!
It's a time of new beginnings! And, to help reign in the new year, members will roll three Mystery Eggs but may only keep one. These are no ordinary eggs, however! Upon claiming your eggs in this thread, generate a number between 1 and 898. The number you generate is the national pokedex number of the pokemon that will hatch out of the egg! Yes, that includes evolved Pokemon, Ultra Beasts, and even Legendaries if you are lucky enough to generate one. Please keep in mind that pokemon with Alolan/Galarian forms can share the same national pokedex numbers, so if you generate one of these pokemon, you must quote a mod and say which form you want to claim from the egg before giving it to a character.
You do not have to claim your generated pokemon as an egg or post for the egg to hatch, but you can if you would like to. If you generate an evolved pokemon, you can claim its first evolution if you like. (i.e., generating a Blaziken and choosing to claim a Torchic instead). All Mystery Egg pokemon will be claimed/hatched at level 5.
Worried that you'll generate a pokemon you don't want? Relax! If you don't generate the pokemon you were hoping for, you can offer it up in this thread for a trade; no in-character meddling required! Quote a mod to alert us of the egg trade, and afterward, you can treat the egg as if it were your own generated one and do with it what you will.
When rolling your eggs, remember that you can only keep one. After making all 3 of your rolls, quote a mod to let them know which egg you're keeping and whether you are trading your rolled eggs to another guildings for theirs or claiming an item substitute.
Does no one want to trade for your pokemon? Do you not like the trading options? You can turn a bum egg in for a level 5 first stage pokemon of choice, and yes, you can trade eggs with someone who wants your generated Mystery Egg, take their egg, and trade it in for a level 5 first stage pokemon of choice as well. For those of you who feel that your characters have enough pokemon already, don't worry! You can also trade in your egg for one of these item options:
Option 1: 2 TMs of Choice
Option 2: 5 Pokeballs of Choice (Non-Event)
Option 3: 1 Hold Item of Choice
Option 4: 1 Misc Item of Choice
Option 5: 1 Contest Item of Choice
As a fair warning here and now, under no circumstance should any posts be deleted in this thread. If a mod sees that a post has been deleted, the person responsible will not be allowed to participate in the event.

Ayooooo! The new year is here, and here’s another chance to roll some mystery eggs! Hopefully I’ll get something good this time around, but we’ll see what RNJesus has in store! Alright, first egg roll (heh), let’s see what we get!
Edit: Ah, a Combee! Not bad, but not really anything I’m looking for in particular!

Second roll coming in, hopefully I’ll have a bit better luck with this one!
Edit: It’s indeed an Indeedee this time! Definitely pretty good, though not really anything that I especially need. If anyone wants this one, then please do let me know!

Edit: It’s a Corvisquire! Pretty decent luck this year, I’d say, but I don’t really need any of these ‘mons particularly. Let me know if any of y’all want to swap eggs, otherwise I’ll be figuring out what items I’d like to trade in for!
