Prompt 13 (Sweet Treats) : There’s no shortage of holiday themed popup shops and specials at your local places, and after a long day there’s nothing better than a nice treat for yourself. Maybe you decided to try something new, maybe it was a gift, maybe you got one of the coupons in the mail to try the place out–however you wound up with this drink, you’re in for a good time. No matter what your preferences are, the drink is delicious. Hot, cold, sweet, bitter–there’s a version of it for everyone. But, the flavor isn’t what makes the drink so special–it’s how good it makes you feel. There’s no alcohol in it, but drinking it can leave someone feeling tipsy, warm, and in a general good mood. Inhibitions aren’t lowered and there’s no negative repercussions for having the drink; it might make children more hyper, but the drink just has the ability to put someone in a pleasant mood.

This mornings mail had contained tickets, coupons really, to one of the many popup shops in the city. he couldn't remember signing up for anything to be mailed to him but he assumed they were just sending a coupon out to everyone in the area, or just randomly picking addresses in the city to mail to. Either way he'd texted Mason about it, asking if the other wanted to join him for a drink that evening. He had classes in the afternoon and figured it might be a nice way to wind down.

The shop was near a large cluster of other shops, something like a popup Christmas shop village in the center of the city. Where a big open, paved, area was there not stood many tents of various colors and many people milling about shopping and chatting. Many had cups of warm liquid clutched in there hands, sipping occasionally, as they shopped about.

From custom wrapping paper, you could order your own, to fabric hand beaded ornaments. There was all manner of holiday themed tent shops. The one he headed to, planning to meet Mason there, was more of a solid shop, it needed to be due to all the quipment needed, and it was packed with people chatting and grouped up as they drank and talked. Glancing about he wondered where the other was.

He'd even dressed in dark jeans, boots to keep his feet warm, and a black turtleneck with a pale blue scarf and a black peacoat over it. he was bundled up and warm and he couldn't see the other just yet...he never could see through crowds veryh hwell - too short.
