Saeruin 1
A few months after the most glorious camping trip of her entire life, Saeruin was starting to feel the consequences of their actions in the mountains. Mornings were difficult again in a way she most definitely remembered, nausea and vomiting, restless sleep ect. She was definitely pregnant again. Ushiwa’s eyes had sparkled the first time it happened, he knew what was up as well. She had always had a good relationship with her body and it was definitely letting her know that there was a big change!
She drug herself to the coffee pot in the hopes that she would be able to keep her one cup allotment down.

Things were great! He had the most beautiful women, and she was again pregnant with his child. He was very excited. He knew that nothing could replace the daughter they had lost but he still hoped that Elaxi would come home or be found one day. Blood was forever and he would again have all of his daughters in one place. However, there was nothing wrong with giving Elaxi and Kechiri a new sibling to play with.
Every night he talked to the kid right before they fell asleep and he told that unborn baby how their day had gone and how it would be loved when it graced them with he or she’s presence. He supported Sae in every way that he could. The forge was shut down for the moment while she struggled with some of the symptoms from her pregnancy.
“Found the coffee pot did you love?” He poured it for her adding a touch of honey.

Saeruin 2
She smiled at her mate. She loved how happy it made him to know that they had another child coming. A new little face that she couldn’t wait to meet, especially following the birth of her husband’s new cousins. So cute! And now she would finally have babies of her own again. The years were just flying by and she welcomed the chance to slow down and look through a child’s eyes once again at all of the wonders the world had to behold.
She was so ready. Although she did enjoy being quite spoiled by her mate. He always did his best.

She was so darn cute when she was rounded, she still remained as graceful as possible but when the end of pregnancy was near she would be so big that it would mess with her center of gravity. He couldn’t wait, she was just so beautiful and so strong. “Good morning.” He wrapped his arms around her and placed his hands on the bump that was forming on her lower abdomen. “You most beautiful one you.”

She sipped her coffee, pleased with her loves affection towards her as always. When they were alone especially he let her see just how much he really loved her. Which was good because carrying babies was not the easiest thing. Coffee made it near bearable though. “I cannot wait for the morning sickness to be gone, its like the discomforts come in phases, but still healthy so not complaining. The pickle cravings though, I hate pickles.”

He knew that she missed the forge. It was also because of Kechiri’a play that Saeruin was pregnant again. She had just looked so good in that outfit, playing the hero warrior in Kechiri’s play that well, he hadn’t been able to stop thinking about her since and well she had come to him after all.
“So my queen, what is it you would like to do today? I have cleared my whole schedule for you what would you like to do?”
He was risking sounding like an eager radaku but well he did love spending time with her. Kechiri was off getting lessons in sailing from Theriar so they had the whole house to themselves for a change.

Months later, she was greatly rounder and tireder, still gorgeous but definitely tired. She hated sleeping on her back and she missed her forge very much. But she did capitalize on snuggle time with Ushi. It was always so revitalizing to just share the same space as her favorite person who happily also happened to be her husband. She thought that they were very complimentary to each other, similar but just different enough not to be bored ever.
She sank onto the bed and sighed. It was a lot of work carrying around what was apparently twins or so the healer had said. They were of course ecstatic but it was a little extra heavy.

He sat behind her and rubbed her lower back knowing that those muscles got especially tight around this time of day. It was good for both of them. He got to be around her and she reaped a significant benefit from his presence. He kissed her neck gently. “How much longer do you think?” Mothers were of course the expert in these matters and he as a male could only use his knowledge from beast taming and only some of that applied to people.
He was getting excited, he wanted to meet their new family members.

She yawned tiredly, remembering that most knowing look that first day after she had thrown up in the morning. He had known the moment she had, but he could not yet predict her labour. She had such a smart man.
"Anytime now I think, so says the healer, I feel heavy, I'm tired," She curled slowly into a ball on the bed. Sighing as she felt him wrap around her too. She loved these sweet cuddles. He had always been willing to touch her, to cuddle to spend time with her, something that he wasn't able to do with everyone. He and Thal wrestled but that was usually because Thal teased him. Thal usually won too but he had put on a ton of muscle. Ushi had stayed slim and fit.

He duly wrapped himself around her knowing that comfort that touch brought her. She had lost her parents and touch was extremely important to her, it let her know she was not alone and she had told him that she would only touch those she absolutely trusted. She used to sleep back to back with Kellye, to protect her leader and friend, and now she did the same for him and he for her. He did hope that Kellye would find another best friend or even a mate since Ushi had quite stolen Saeruin from him. He would not be giving her back either, she was so beautiful and the perfect match for him, she also burned with an internal flame but it was subtly different from his own. He loved her like air, sea and sand.

She threaded her fingers through his. He had the best hands, rough, callused but gentle and smooth. Anyone who worked with animals had to be gentle, which he used to his advantage on her. She wouldn’t have it any other way either. She pushed her back against his warm chest and promptly fell back asleep. He was the ultimate comfort to her.

About a week later, a distressed noise woke him in the middle of the morning. He quickly realized that Sae had gone into labour, had probably been in it for quite a while.
There would probably not be enough time for the healer to arrive in time, but that was okay he could handle this. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for her and if he needed to he could summon the rest of the house.

She woke with a start, she must have woke Ushi up earlier as he was bustling around getting prepared. She was most definitely in labour, and quite far along, she had no idea how she had slept through most of it, it did explain the dreams though! She groaned theatrically.
"Ushi, I don't think the healer is going to be quick enough."

"I don't think they will either," fortunately he was a old hand at birthing...animals..but still! Well besides the fact that an animal wouldn't grab a fistfull of his hair, curse like a sailor, because he did this to her. He smirked. He didn't know how females did what they did when they gave birth, the amount of pain seemed astronomical, and he couldn't help but hurt with her.
"I won't faint, I promise." He hoped.

"You better not," she smirked back before clenching the bedsheets when another contraction hit her hard. It was always such a weird feeling not having control over her own muscles.
"I feel like it will be sooner rather than later, but right now I just need you to hold me, whatever you do, do not leave. Just scream if you need help. But don't leave."
