Anyone here sing solo? o.O;
I pretty much have to. It's the only way they'll let me into a choir here.
Oh, and does anyone have to compete as a solo singer? x_x;;

i wanted to try-out for a solo parts for our winter performance but i don't have teh self confidence to do so xp since we have alot of good singers who were in districts adn A cappella, though it turned out none of them made it, the teacher wanted to give the other people a chance since they already had there spot-light, but my voice is getting better with practice so wheneverr i feel im ready to do something like this i will whee

Solos are my life.
Every chance I get because that's my life.
I don't always get them, but that's good. It always give me something to improve on.

I don't like solos, but I was forced into one by my friends. Now I have to do it for the spring concert. D:
Some friends they are.

I compete in Solo and Ensamble every year. Does that count? I mean I love to do solos and this is kinda my advice. I know that there are a lot of people out there who have better voices than mine, but whenever that starts to get me down I just remember this poster that my choir directors hung in the choir room that said "Use the talent that you have because the woods would be a quite place if no bird sang but the best." I dont know if that helps or not, but I kinda like it.

I've done a solo for UIL Solo and Ensemble the last three years. And during the last concert, I sang a phrase in one song all by myself. Gosh that was scary, my legs were still shaking afterwards. ^_^;;

I've sang solos since 6th grade... That would seem a little bit impressive if I weren't starting freshman year this fall (high school). And in every talent show I can get into(about 3.)
I've sung the following songs as solos: Follow Me from Camelot Wings... I forget the composer... Homeward Bound... Again, I forgot the composer. Only Time by Enya There's another one, but I forgot it.
I heart solos.

The past two years I've done Solo and Ensamble here in Ohio, but both years I haven't gotten a one...and that makes me sad. Then this year I got lucky and managed to score a duet with my boyfriend for or school's dinner concert, it was awesome. But yeah, the solo stuff isn't so scary anymore and I'm thankful for that.
