To say that there was a level of excitement welling up from inside her body was an understatement. Her tail whipped back and forth in an excessive display of unbridled energy but she couldn't be at fault if she accidentally knocked something over, could she? The reason behind the excitement was that on this day she and Orah had agreed to meet for the express purpose of Illyria being able to visit the world that Ida called home. Illyria's mind whirled about as she kneaded the couch cushion that she rested upon.
What would Ida be like? Illyria had reservations about space travel or how it was accomplished with senshi teleportation but she was keen to try anything if it was with her dear friend Ida.
The hardest part though was waiting. Illyria had almost kneaded the cushion she was resting on into submission before realizing what her paws were doing. She was a nervous, anxious, but excited wreck. Aside from being brought to the moon against her will after that rather messy affair a year ago ... or being space-napped to Astraya, which was also a disaster, Illyria hoped that things would go smoothly. Being on Alastor had been an eye opener and fervently she hoped there was no chaos on Ida's world. She wouldn't be able to deal with another NotIda vision again.
All she wanted was a chance for a nice, normal visit to a friend's homeworld ... no shenanigans needed, that wasn't too big of a request, was it?
Even as she kneaded the poor cushion that she rested on again did Illyria take a small moment to glance around the apartment that she was getting more familiar with. She still hadn't exactly made friends with Lola but that would take time, as Orah had once mentioned. Starting a small purr the small Mauvian wondered why it was that she felt so keyed up this evening before shrugging it off, "just first time jitters, that's all. Nothing to worry about. Nothing at all."
But somewhere deep inside, even though it was a crazy thought, Illyria couldn't help the nervous fluttering of butterflies.

Work had been long. Orah was tired by the time she made it home, tired enough she would have been happy with some warm soup and a movie to watch. The only thing that kept a lightness in her step was the knowledge that she had plans with Illyria tonight, plans that included a trip off planet. The thought of visiting her planet again gave her comfort, as it always did. It would be warm there, not bitter with the first whispers of winter. Maybe even sunny, if they caught the right time of day, rather than dreary and dark as the days got shorter. Her keys rattled in the lock and Orah swung the door open to a not so empty or dark apartment. There was a very excited looking kitten on the couch and the young woman couldn't help her bright smile as she pushed the door shut behind her.
"Hi there!" She called out as she set her bag down on the counter, turning to put her coat away in the closet. "I'm sorry, were you waiting very long? Just give me a minute to go change and then we can go if you're ready."
She was already skirting around the counter of the kitchen headed for the hallway, her own excitement building. She didn't actually need to change, since she'd be powered up, but it just... felt right. She wanted out of her scrubs and into something clean and warm, if for nothing than the mental comfort of knowing when she powered down she wouldn't have to change later on. In her room, she threw on an old pair of jeans and a flowing tank top, layering that with a warm, fluffy sweater. Her work boots came out from under the bed, and she topped it all with a knit hat to tame her dark, curling hair.
In only a few minutes, she was back out in the living room, tucking keys and phone into her pockets.
"Ready, Illy?"

Illyria's ears perked at the sound of a key being inserted into a lock and the resulting turn of tumblers as the lock disengaged, allowing entrance to the owner of said key into the apartment proper. Illyria's purring stopped for a moment before starting back up at the familiar sight of Orah stepping across the door's threshold. Her tail flicked once to her left before she bounded off the cushion which had been her resting spot for a period of time now. She approached Orah as a bag was set down on a counter and she quickly twirled between her friend's feet before stepping back to answer the query posed of her.
"I don't think I've been waiting long. But even if I had it's okay. I'm finally getting to see what your world is like. So if things hadn't worked out I would have waited longer if the need had called for it. I just want everything to be perfect for the both of us."
Even as she returned to stare at the couch cushion that she had vacated to greet Orah did Illyria resist the urge to scramble back onto the couch itself. What would be the point if she were going to be leaving shortly? As Orah left the kitchen Illyria positioned herself to sit at the entrance of the hallway that Orah had travelled down. The Mauvian mentally checked off what she thought she had needed for the trip before giving a succinct nod. She was ready and would just wait for Orah to finish changing. She didn't want to appear like she was anxious to go and so with a quiet sigh did Illyria pad softly back into the living room to wait.
Her nervousness was returning during the short pathway back to the couch and she began to pace back and forth. She gave an uncertain meow in response to Orah's reappearance. Was she ready? Was anyone ever ready? The shortening of her name to Illy was unexpected but it filled her with a warmth that suffused her entire body and she found that she didn't mind the moniker ... at least if it came from Orah. Although she figured if her name was to be shortened there could be better alternatives. She paused her racing thoughts before she turned to brace her front paws on Orah's leg as she peered up at her friend. Her voice was small as she replied,
"I think I'm ready. What do I need to do?"

Orah smiled as she came to run a hand gently over Illyria's head. Her fur was so soft under her fingers.
"Nothing you need to do, Illy. I just have to power up and we need to be touching when I activate the app on my phone. Its pretty simple." She said, bending down to gather the small cat up in her arms. She carried her through the neat livingroom out onto the balcony. The sliding glass door made a small woosh as it moved, and Orah was careful to close it behind her to contain the non-sentient cat in the house. Illyria was placed on the top of the patio table they kept out there, surrounded by potted plants that Orah kept. They were still green and vibrant even this late into the year, but they were going to need to be moved inside soon before the first real frost.
Pulling out her pen, Orah murmured her transformation phrase and turned in place, falling petals wrapping around her and forming into the fabric of her fuku. Dark purple hood draped over her hair while soft folds of purple and gold hugged her hips. Orchids and chiffon draped from her hips, and down the length of one arm, bright glowing lines like henna shone from her skin.
Lifting a hand, Ida called her phone out of subspace and gathered Illyria up again.
"Alright, here we go." She said as she pressed the button on her phone. The world around them seemed to fuzz out and then solidify again, with a sense of motion even though they stood still. Then the pair were bathed in warm sunlight, a soft breeze rustling the knee high grass all around them. Thousands of small flowers dotted the open meadow, lending their scent to the air, and in the distance, there was a faint sound of wind chime.
Ida took a deep breath of her world's air and let it out slowly, relaxing as she did so. Something within her shifted and tension drained away, the imbalance of power between herself and this place equalizing and flowing freely.
"There. Welcome to Ida, Illy." She said with a bright smile, moving to set the cat down in the grass.

As Orah had run her hand over her head Illyria leaned into the gesture before she was picked up and settled in Orah's arms. Her ears twitched back and forth catching the response to what she had asked even as she was carried back outside to set back down on the patio table. Illyria had a moment to glance around at the potted plants before an idea sparked in her mind for something that she could bring over in the near future. The young Mauvian resisted the urge to paw at the leaves of the plants that she was situated in proximity of. Instead she turned her gaze back to Orah as her friend brought about her transformation into Ida. Taking in the display did Illyria wish that she could be as elegant as her friend was. Her idea of transforming came by the way of using a little device that gave her the ability to pass as human but what would it be like to be able to not have to rely on such a tool?
Even as she was retrieved from her temporary perch did Illyria feel a wave of contentment wash over her. In just a few short moments she would be on the first visit to a senshi's world and she was so glad that it was Ida who was allowing her the opportunity to experience what it was like to be able to explore a world simply for pleasure.
When Ida brought out her phone Illyria's gaze widened with expectation before her vision of the apartment balcony faded out of view. Almost immediately was the vista replaced by a field of rolling knee-high grasses that led off into whatever direction she looked in. The warmth of sunlight washed over her and even as Ida moved to set her down amongst the grass did Illyria note the many tiny wildflowers that were blooming all around them. Giving a small mrrrt sound did the feline feel as if the grass were trying to swallow up her small form. Her gaze darted back and forth from her new vantage point before she eyed the grass and batted at the long stalks that hid the view from her sight. The grass refused to stay down and so Illyria resorted to flopping down and rolling back and forth a few times before springing back to her paws. Well, this would take forever if she couldn't find a better solution to be able to enjoy the sights that Ida had to offer. She didn't want to force Ida to cart her around all over the place either if she could help it.
Bringing her concentration back to the matter at hand Illyria summoned the tool that would see her be able to retain a human guise for a little while at least. It dropped to the ground at her paws and she gently nosed at it before dismissing it back to her subspace pocket with a pang of guilt. She'd just have to manage without it.
Blinking to peer up at Ida's form did Illyria feel something tugging at the back of her mind, she ignored the sensation as she spoke to the Orchid senshi, "It's so tranquil here. Your world seems so alive. Was it always like this?"
That small tugging sensation flitted through her mind again and she mentally chased it away, eager to begin exploring. Her paws gently kneaded the soil beneath them before she waited to see in which direction Ida would head. She'd follow her friend's lead without reservation.

Ida smiled as she crouched down to watch Illyria roll in the grass. It warmed her, seeing someone else enjoy her world. The wind in the grass made a soft sibilant noise, familiar and comforting, same as the warmth of the sun on her head and shoulders. She took the opportunity to push her purple hood back, letting her dark hair spill out over her shoulders and down her back.
At the question, she tilted her head a little, her arms resting on her bent knees.
"Its a lot more vibrant now than it used to be. When I first arrived it was... empty. Just a lot of grass and petrified trees. It took time before the flowers started coming back. The trees came back to life when I transcended, and then the small bugs in the last couple of years. Its only recently that I've started seeing little animals, like birds. I think maybe the tranquil feeling has grown too... it was always peaceful, but just very empty and needing to be filled up again." She said as she mused over it. Reaching out, she picked one of the flowers, something in a vivid blue, and set it on top of Illyria's head in a playful gesture, tucked against one of her ears.
"Its maybe just all in my head, but I feel like the planet yearns for people on it again. It feels... happier, when I bring other people along, and it seems like it grows better after I do. I don't know if it would be along as far as it is without all the people who have visited. Its like we share energy with it, and it shares back, and everyone benefits."
Pushing herself back to her feet, she set off towards her tower, or the building she liked to call her tower. It had been her home, in her past life, and it had felt right to make that place her base of operations here again. The garden she had built for years was next to it, sprawling now and full of wild growth. The trees soared above them as they moved from the meadow into the city itself, following a broad path of barely seen stones. They might have been clear and well traveled once, but a thousand years of inattention had let the grass and plants grow up and around them, covering their clean lines. The height of the grass did drop back as they passed into the shade of the trees, and Ida glanced down to make sure the Mauvian wasn't struggling too badly.

If there was one thing that Illyria wished for more than anything at the moment it was to stop being bombarded by a phantom sensation that she was meant to do something important. The feline instead tried to focus on the words that Ida was speaking of how her planet used to be. It was interesting to note the progression that had happened in stages. She gave a soft trilling sound of understanding. So it seemed as if a senshi's world only came back to life once that particular senshi started visiting. Illyria's nose scrunched in thought as she logged that bit of reasoning away. Her gaze took in the wildflower that Ida plucked from the grasses and held still as it was tucked behind her ear. Her initial worry was that she'd lose such a precious keepsake if she left it where it was as it was bound to fall out. "I don't think it's such a far off assumption to make if that's what you feel is happening," Illyria's voice was soft as she moved forward before feeling the gifted flower slipping. Her next step forward had her realizing that the flower had to be moved. Sitting on her haunches Illyria watched as Ida moved forward away from her before she promptly plucked the flower from where it had been placed to instead carry it clamped stem first in her mouth.
It would have to do for the meantime as there seemed to be no time to adjust the wildflower to a more secured position. Once they stopped maybe there would be time. Illyria just wanted to be able to keep up with her guide. Stumbling forward Illyria moved through the grasses of the meadow that they had arrived in before she made note of the giant trees that soared above as the distance closed between them and what appeared to be a hidden city. Illyria paused to gaze up towards the canopy that spread out from the massive trees. Her vision spun for a brief moment before at the height that the leaf canopy reached before she looked back to things that were at eye level. It seemed to be the safer option. She did appreciate that the overgrowth was easier to manage now that it seemed that they had hit some sort of pathway. The grasses were still obstructing the feline's view but it seemed easier to navigate from before.
As she watched Ida approach one of the trees did Illyria's mouth open wide. That tree seemed to have an entrance that was accessible to her senshi friend. It dawned on her that the trees were more than just trees: they seemed to be buildings. The flower dropped to the ground and for a moment it remained there. A moment passed; and then another. The feeling that she had been chasing away all evening returned to swamp her tiny form once more and it finally dawned on her that the inevitable conclusion was to just to stop pushing it away. Because it seemed that chasing it away was only prolonging the sensation.
Embracing the phantom feeling did Illyria give the smallest of sounds before time seemed to freeze for the Mauvian. A disconnect occurred in the briefest blip before a wave of energy flowed through her limbs. What once had been paws reaching out to gently draw back a dropped flower now were delicate fingers. Her gaze widened even she as drew back what appeared to be a human limb. How? What? Why?
She hadn't used her tool that would have given her a human glamour so how was this possible? Even as she flexed her fingers did she reach out for the flower before fastening it tightly against the golden-filigreed metal hairpiece that still seemed to be with her. Rising to bare feet did Illyria take in her new appearance before giving the softest of exclamations at what she now donned for an outfit. It was beyond anything that she could have imagined. Her tail curled around underneath the folds of her dress to brush against bared thighs as she straightened out human legs. The softest sound of fabric swishing caused her ears to twitch and Illyria couldn't stop herself from running her hand over the top of her head. Her fingers were met with not only the softness of flopped over feline ears but also a mass of wild curls that seemed incline to trap unsuspecting phalanges.
This was new territory. For as used to hiding with a human glamour did Illyria find this development unnerving for she had no explanation of what was happening. It might have reflected in her voice as she called out to Ida before her friend disappeared from sight. There was a lingering tone of uncertainty in the one word that passed through a human mouth, "Ida?"Whimsical Blue Human Mauvian Illyria is pleased to meet you Also - I really do apologize for the text wall. Hearing her name, Ida turned back. Rather than the small cat she was looking for, she found a lovely young woman instead. One looking rather confused and lost. It took a moment to connect the two in her head and when she did finally, the senshi grinned broadly, coming back to take her new hands in her own.
"Illy! I've never seen your human form before. You're so pretty!" She said as she gave her fingers a squeeze. And she certainly was pretty. All lush rainbow curls and soft, flowing fabric. It was such a difference from the soft little cat she was usually that it was taking a bit to align the two in her mind. She almost felt like a different person this way, though Ida knew better. This was still Illyria, just with more height and fingers.
"This is a pretty good place to get to run around on two feet." She said, her voice light and teasing. "No one's going to notice your energy signature here, but me."
This would make some things easier. She wouldn't have to fight her way through the grass any more, for one.

For a moment she did nothing but stand completely still. Her mind was trying to catch up to these new developments a little too fast. The quickness of the transformation had been alarming and there still seemed to be a little bit of shock running through her system. As Ida came back to her side to hold her now human hands in her own her violet orbs took in the now expanded viewpoint that she could work with before she blinked slowly at what Ida was saying to her. Her ears still twitched a little to catch the words as her brain caught up to what was going on.
"Illy! I've never seen your human form before. You're so pretty!"
Illyria's body visibly trembled for a moment before she shook her head in response to that sentence. Seconds passed as she tried to find the right words to reply before she grimaced, "technically you'd be correct in that assumption but it's only partially correct too. I've never seen this form either. I'm afraid I'm not sure what happened to bring about this transformation. Trust me though, I can't say it's not desirable."
Illyria gently tugged one hand free from Ida's gentle grasp as she grabbed a handful of skirt and ruffled the material causing it to sway back and forth before she gave her friend a shy grin. There was definitely no denying that the dress was beautiful. Her gaze instead took in the trees in which surrounded them before she let her feet carry her nearer to one. Being this tall was better here on Ida's world and it was extremely remarkable how this had happened, but in the back of her mind she did wonder about things: like how would she get back to her other form & what was it meant by her energy signature being noticed?
For the meantime though would it be better just to remain as she currently was? It would make it a lot easier for exploring Ida's home world if she could actually interact with the environment around her as a being that had opposable thumbs. She'd be able to grasp at things if they caught her eye and there was already plenty of that to go around. Speaking of which: Illyria gently crouched nearer to the ground to pluck the flower that Ida had bestowed upon her earlier to tuck it gently behind her ear. At least now it'd be able to stay in position a lot easier.
"I'm still a little overwhelmed by this new development but as I don't seem to be having too many issues, besides uncertainty, I think I'm ready to follow you again Ida."
Although the question remains on why this happened now, does it have something to do with being here on Ida? Should it be something I experiment with once we're back on Earth ... or ... should I leave it alone for now?

It came to Ida that all of this was very new for her friend and there seemed to be a lot to process about it. She supposed that made sense, suddenly and unexpectedly shifting to a new form. This new shape was entirely different than what she'd had before, almost enough to be completely unrecognizeable. There were new shapes to her limbs, a new perspective and feelings... She watched it all with a sympathetic eye, keeping a gentle hold on one of Illyria's hands to offer her silent support. Ida trailed at her side as they moved towards the tower, letting the other draw her along.
"its okay to be overwhelmed." She said softly, watching her work through it all. "Take all the time you need. You're safe here, and I'm not in a hurry to go anywhere."
Stepping forward, Ida tugged gently and led Illyria towards the large, arched door way, the elegant wood door left wide open and wild vines tangled around the frame, their blossoms hanging down. Inside was a large, open area in shades of brown and cream, the walls, floor and ceiling made of the wood of the tree the building was made of. This place showed evidence of Ida's recent handiwork, rather than the remains of a thousand years ago. A pallet bed had been set up against one wall across from the door and some of the old furniture had been moved to give the small area a homey feeling, if a home for a single person. Books stacked on a low table with a camping lantern and gardening supplies were neatly set nearby, waiting to be used.
What did remain of the original furniture, Ida had moved neatly near the door, either simply to store it or perhaps to go through later. They had the general shape of furniture made for humanoids, but they were like nothing found on earth, taking sometimes strange, whimsical shapes. All of it seemed made of some form of wood, whatever remained of the cloth cushions and coverings long since moldered away to leave only frames. Windows along the walls were empty, allowing the soft breeze to blow through and more hanging flowers to curl through the openings.
"I kind of made myself a home base here, since I spend so much time on my asteroid sometimes. Its convenient to have a place to sleep and store things, and its actually pretty nice here at night. Really quiet, and you know its the safest place you could be, since there are no people or dangerous animals." She said as she waived a hand at her makeshift set up. "I haven't touched as much of the upstairs or the other buildings around here."

Illyria was busy taking in everything from her new and improved vantage point. It was definitely something of an improvement to fighting with the tall grasses that had blocked her view earlier on. Instead of commenting on things though the Mauvian gently trailed her fingers along everything that she passed. The tactile sensations weren't exactly new to her to experience but it was still like a new experience. When she used her transformation tool all the senses that she had as a cat seemed to disappear for the hour long duration of her glamour. But in this new form she could still sense Ida's energy signature and she guessed that it meant that all of her powers were still intact as well. Things would have to be brushed up on when she got back to Earth about what this all meant but for the meantime it was time to rejoice in being in favourable company.
Letting Ida guide her into the arched door way of a towering tree Illyria took in the original form of the tree's insides before catching sight of the various pieces that had clearly been brought from Earth. Original pieces of furniture still seemed present and Illyria gave the pile a cursory glance. Curiosity burned in her eyes as she instead crossed to the setup that Ida had made in her visits to her homeworld. As her eyes took in the neatened interior her gaze travelled to the direction that split off from the room they currently occupied. Was that the way to head to the upstairs that Ida spoke about. Was there any specific reason that it remained unfurnished as the main level?
"I am in awe of the dedication that you've made to make this place a second home," Illyria moved to the window to peer out at the other trees and wondered if all of them were like this one or if each had its own unique appearance. Her gaze silently moved from left to right, taking in everything. The breeze teased her now human locks of hair and she giggled softly as the strands tickled her facial features.
"This place is truly amazing. I'm honoured that you allowed me the chance to see the beauty here," Illyria twirled to face Ida before closing the distance between them with her arms opened wide. She gently embraced Ida and then moved away just as quickly, unsure if the physical contact was welcomed or not. She couldn't purr in this form but her widening smile and laughing eyes spoke of just how happy she was to be here.

Ida smiled gently and watched as Illyria explored, letting her mind drift through memories. Seeing her friend exploring was a pleasure, but it reminded her of other people she had brought here and shown these things, and that made her ache, just a little.
"I've had a lot of time to work on it. And I spent a few months here, a few years back. I needed a break from... everything, so I brought a bunch of supplies and lived here full time for a while. And I brought my girlfriend here sometimes... I wanted it to be nice for her. Though, she probably wouldn't have cared if all I'd had was a tent and a blanket on the ground." She said lightly, making a joke of it. She hadn't expected Illyria to turn so suddenly, but then arms were around her and squeezing her tight. It came so out of the blue she hardly had a chance to respond before the Mauvian released her. And it had felt so nice.
Reaching out, Ida took her hand and gave it a squeeze, offering her another warm smile before she tugged her towards the door and the stairway that ran around the outside of the building.
"Do you want to see upstairs? That's where some of the cool old stuff is. Some of it is working again, though I don't know what all of it does. I remember sometimes, so I'm slowly figuring it out. If you like technology, I figure that would probably be stuff you'd like to see. Most everything on this asteroid was used to treat diseases and heal people who came here, so its mostly medical in nature, but not all of it. In my tower, some of the rooms were for patients I needed to keep close, but it was also where visiting dignitaries stayed, so some of the suites were guest rooms for them." She said as she lead the way.

Even though she was wearing a new form Illyria's ears still twitched at the mention of technology. Her fingers itched to tinker with the working machines but she would hold back for now. If the devices were on by themselves then perhaps it was due to the influence of a senshi visiting their world. Then again, she gave a rueful chuckle, she could totally be off on the reason why machines would turn back on. Her fingers wrapped around Ida's guiding hand before she knew what she was doing. "I would like very much to see the upstairs," Illyria fell quiet for a moment digesting what she had learned so far of Ida's past before she spoke up.
"Was Ida meant to be a healing world only then? Was there anything else that your world was known for?"
As Ida lead her back outside Illyria's gaze took in the marvel of the staircase that wound its way around the outside of the tree before she placed one foot on the bottom stair before climbing the archaic structure. Her eyes took on a gleam as she thought about the technology that Ida had mentioned but she would have to hold back the urge to tinker at random. Instead she paused for a moment mid-step to gaze out over the meadow-like area where they had arrived. A small breeze ruffled her dress before she continued upward. "I can see why people would be brought here. It's so peaceful."
Remembering what Ida had mentioned earlier about the upper floor being untouched Illyria was careful as she entered into the new room behind her friend. She wouldn't want to knock anything over. There definitely was a case to be made about staying to inspect everything but that would have to wait. Eyeballing the items in that room that seemed to draw on power to work Illyria gave the machines a wide berth for now. Instead her gaze settled on a pile of objects that didn't seem to be of any particular known item in her mind and she picked up a random thing that looked like it could have been located in a computer repair shop. It seemed to be some sort of internal control panel. She turned it around in her human hands before musing more to herself than anything, "what do you do I wonder?"
She turned around to face Ida before smiling. "I'm getting nosy I think but do you know what most of these working machines did before?"Whimsical Blue I'm derpy at the moment. sorry for the delay

The turn around the tower as they ascended gave them a new vantage point to look out over the over grown city around them. Flowers draped over the railing along the outside of the stairs and the perfume of flowers was light and delicate.
"My world isn't very large, so there wasn't as much diversity here like Earth has. While there were people and facilities that worked to support the people living here, the over arching focus, if you will, was on healing. You could say it was our main export and yeah, the thing we were most known for. Other than our brand of technology, I guess?" She said as she followed Illyria into the room and watched her look about, immediately zeroing on some of the things she'd brought up from downstairs and left piled here. Ida couldn't have said what it was she picked out to look over. She had vague snatches of memory that she'd used something like it before, but not how it worked or how it was made.
"I have an idea of some of the bigger things because I remember using them in my work, but I was a doctor, not an engineer, so I don't really know how the smaller parts went together to make the bigger things. You're welcome to poke around and play with stuff if you like. There is plenty of it. Hopefully you can figure out how to convert it from working off Ida's energy to working off electricity. I know they did something like that back then, for stuff that went off planet. If you want to take anything home that'll be important. Take anything you like, I don't mind."
Beyond the pile of odds and ends, the foyer opened into hallways lined with arching doors and filled with the sorts of furniture an invalid, visitors and doctors would need. All of it made of wood or resin or something very like either of those, much of it grown up out of the floor or walls as needed. Holographic screens dotted the walls at intervals, sitting next to doors, showing maps and information between them, and reading off the non-existent vitals signs in the empty beds.
"I know there is a workshop here, where they did some of the repair and building work, and I know it had tools at one point. They're probably still there, if they survived the years." She said with a small smile.

Delicate fingers had turned the small object that she had picked out earlier around and around before tracing the minute details before she gently, almost reverently placed the item back down from where she had picked it up from. Having passed as a human before was nothing new to Illyria but the fact was that her tail at the moment kept swishing back and forth underneath the fabric of her dress. It brushed against her barely covered thighs causing the most unusual sensation of one who was being tickled and she let loose with a small snort of laughter. As soon as it had erupted she clamped down on it to stifle the sound. Turning back to face Ida did Illyria give her friend the widest smile that she could muster. Her gaze was pensive as she glanced over the pile once more before fishing out a larger component that clearly was technological in design. Pocketing the piece did Illyria move around the room before stopping to peer at the holographic screens. They offered Illyria a glimpse into what the technology might be able to do but currently but there was something that she was picking up in the tone of Ida's words. Her ears twitched back and forth before she turned around to face Ida. Her violet orbs shimmered with concern for her friend.
Had she heard a tone of sadness underlying the words that Ida had voiced as she spoke about the past? Giving the softest of sighs did Illyria shed her human form to take up the mantle of being her smaller feline form once more. As her feline self she could probably cheer Ida up much more easily than she could as a young woman, at least she hoped that was the case.
Pulling herself to all four paws after being bipedal for the last while wasn't a new experience but making sure she was being careful did Illyria move to lean against Ida's long legs. Her soft meow was uttered before she craned to peer up at the orchid senshi, "I will keep an eye out for anything that I can do to help get other things working again if you want. And thank you for the chance to examine things more closely. Is there a place here on your world that you love to go to ... you know to just relax?"
