Prompt 4: Rest in Peace
While making your way through Destiny City, you wind up taking a path you’ve never taken before. Maybe you’re following directions, maybe you got lost, maybe you were just looking for a shortcut—things were going well, until you wind up needing to pass through a graveyard. It seems normal enough—until you pass by a grave and get a powerful chill down your spine. When you stop and look at it, you see the gravestone has your name; beneath it, your birthday and today’s date. If you leave and return, the gravestone remains, but the name and dates look like they’ve been clawed off.

Citlali had to stay late at Crystal for some Cheerleading activities and now the sun was setting. She had missed the bus so instead of waiting for the next bus to come by she instead decided to just head home on foot. She wasn't too concerned, she often walked around the city alone, as far as she was concerned she was strong enough to deal with any danger she might run into doubly so since she awoke as Sailor Quetzálcoatl. She was admiring the colorful tree with their falling leaving as she walked down a deserted path. She hadn't ever been along this path but she knew it was the quickest way back home so she decided to head down the empty trail.

She soon reached an old cemetery and decided to hop its fence and head through it. She didn't really mind cemeteries, she never thought of them as creepy she always associated them with Día de Muertos even if the holiday was usually observed this far north. She had no reason to fear the dead especially not when she already fought monsters and people with magical powers. Although that did bring up an interesting thought for the young senshi, if magic and monsters were real were other super natural things real as well like ghosts. She supposed she already knew about mirror wraiths which are basically like ghosts just they were never people.

She was pondering this when out of the corner of her eye she caught something that made her stop dead in her tracks. A chill went down her spine, she thought she saw her name on one of the gravestones, slowly she turned around to get a better look and sure enough carved into a granite headstone was the name 'Citlali Aguilar' with her date of birth and todays date as the date of death. This was creepy she was pretty sure no one else in destiny city had her name it was very unique, her mom had taken her name from Náhuatl in honor of their family heritage so she doubted anyone else in a predominantly English speaking area would have her name let alone also her date of birth and who just so happened to die today. No it was clear there was something off about this. She wondered if someone was messing with her, and if they were then were they watching her now, they'd have to be to know she'd come through her. It was too much, Citlali decided she better just hurry home. So she took off running through the cemetery and back home.

The next day she missed the bus again and found herself back at the graveyard she decided she might as well check if the gravestone was still there or if whoever was messing with her had moved it. She made her way back to the spot she had found it and sure enough it was there however her name and the dates looked liked they'd been clawed off by some wild animal. This was deeply disturbing she decided she should never go back through this cemetery again.
