Quote: The Gargoyles (7) : By all accounts, you should have seen the last of them. The Star Festival had its fair share of oddities, but it seems like some of them did escape into Destiny City. Maybe you see them perched on the roof, or hiding in the shadows, but not all of these grotesque creatures are satisfied with just escaping their interdimensional prison–some of them still have a bone to pick. They seem stony; some of them will watch with a penetrative gaze and never strike to attack, but some of them will dive down to target anyone who gets too close. The monsters come in an array of sizes and shapes, but they are no more than half the size of their target. Their goal is uncertain, but they will crumble into a pile of rocks and dust if struck hard enough. Powered characters can use one roleplay with an attacking stone beast to count as a battle requirement if they are roleplaying with another powered character. October was one of the best times to collect more costumes and of course cosplay, giving that Joanna had a ready made excuse due to the season. So many shops opening up just for Halloween meant she had her pick on where to shop for said costumes and accessories as well. In fact she was returning home from a few, not at all worried that it was sunset and the natural light was fading fast. After all, while she may still be only a first stage, she was a Mirror Senshi and had learned how to handle herself in a fight by now and how to run if not.
This did not however always prepare her for when surprises happened.
The young woman had just turned a corner to the next street when there was the sound of rushing air and only reflex had her ducking in time to avoid getting slammed into by a child sized gargoyle. "Welcome to Destiny City, we have cool aliens, interdimensional creatures, and all sorts of weird and unusual situations." She couldn't help but sass as she watched it fly back up so it could prepare to dive at her again.
Within seconds she was powered up and dodging to the side to avoid getting hit by the animated stone creature.

Lucky for her, though maybe not for himself, another dark mirror senshi was just coming on the scene. he'd decided to power up and walk right through one mirror and come out another. He'd seen a car following him, a car he'd grown familiar with in recent weeks, and seeing it he'd run for an alleyway where he new a mirror was tucked away and hidden. Powering up, before someone from the car could get out and confront him, he'd stepped right into the mirror. Now here he was and he was, for a moment, a bit confused.
It was the sight of the moving gargoyle which told him just what was going on. "Lovely." The blond commented with a roll of his eyes. He'd heard about the gargoyles coming to life in the city, and attacking people, but he'd not seen it in person. He knew it was a matter of time really.
"Need some help?" He asked turning his gaze onto his fellow dark mirror senshi. "It looks like it's looking to smash you."

Her skirt twirled and flared around her as she dodged off to the side again to avoid yet another dive bomb attack. It had been years since she had learned how to fight with it's length and flow so it didn't hamper her movement in the slightest. Kobayashi kept her eyes squarely on the gargoyle so that when it managed it's next attack she was swinging her high booted foot out in a snap kick that it just narrowly managed to avoid itself much to her annoyance.
The sudden flare of another Mirror Senshi's signature however broke her concentration just long enough for her right arm to get clipped by one of the stone creatures wing. It would leave a bruise latter but nothing else thankfully. "Some help would be lovely." She said with a nod, though didn't take her eyes off the creature. "I have to agree with that, it's not even trying to use the claws I can see, just flying like a canon ball for blunt force."
She had to fall back closer to the other blond on the next dive attack, though this time she did manage to get a hit in herself to one of it's short legs. "I don't suppose you have offensive magic do you? Mine is support based." Though it could still be handy to use seeing how it might be enough to tip one of them over on the speed and strength enough to put down the flying annoyance for good.
And then as she was thinking this, a second gargoyle appeared, though this one seemed to be more distracted with the male Senshi instead of her. "Oh great, they multiplied." The sass practically dripped from her words as she said them.

"I figure it's going for the most damage poissible and using it's weight to do that." Rather than using claws, which wouldn't do nearly the same damage.
As he wtahced the gargoyle move he decided to move in close, almost too close, so he could use his magic. "It's not what I'd call offensive but it'll work I think." He really wasn't sure...but it was sort of alive and it most certainly was attacking them and didn't like them. He was sure he could turn the tables on the gargoyle, right?
"True loves kiss." He really wished his magic sounded less...sissy and weak. He'd rather something more destructive to be honestt, it would be more his style, but he had this to work with and he figured it was good enough...it had to be.Quote: Super Sailor Scout Attack: True Loves Kiss Again Melpomene will press his fingers to his lips and blow a kiss towards his target (faction doesn't matter) and again, like the last time, a swirl of bleeding heart flowers will be directed towards his target. Upon impact the person will feel an uncontrollable love towards those around them and will not only seek to help them but will even try and protect them - going so far as to put themself in harm's way if the feelings are that strong. This attack can be used twice in battle and lasts forty seconds. *Once he locks onto a person, and blows the kiss, it will hit them even if they move - unless they move out of his five foot range.
