1 - 5: Fire! A small fire has broken out at the local village. But what is on fire and who might be involved is up to you in your prompt response. Find a way to help keep it under control and get anyone out safely.
6 - 10: Mudslide It has been a dry few weeks, and many were excited about the rains coming in. But alas, it seems that too much rain has caused a mudslide. The damage isn't bad, but there might be a few people missing that need to be tracked down.
11 - 15: Flood One late-summer storm has caused the rivers to swell, and increased the risk of someone or something getting swept away. You happen to be in the right place at the right time to catch sight of a thing bobbing in the waters. What is it and how will you help?
16 - 20: Earthquake Tendaji doesn't get too many earthquakes, so it's surprising when the ground begins to shake. Not terrible enough to split the ground, this quake was still strong enough to shake up the community and cause some problems. Explore the damage and see if you can find any way to help out the community.

Starting a local fire was not on Ronan's to-do list for the day. The older boy had wandered away while their ship was in a Matori harbor, the adults taking care of trading business and working on any necessary repairs before taking back off again towards Belrea, and Ronan thought that it would be really cool to check out some of the market stalls. Why not, right? He was almost ten now which meant that he was totally fine to go shopping on his own. If Mako had been around then maybe he would have invited him, but his brother was off doing something else....whatever that could be. Surely it had to be something lame. Ronan pouted at the thought as he started walking around, determined to find something worthwhile to purchase with his hard earned coin.
One of those stalls had some really cool scents wafting towards him, a variety of incense being sold with really cool incense holders that had Matori and Oban designs. "That one is a dragon!" He breathed with amazement as he watched the golden figurine breathe actual smoke towards him. The scent was heavy with traces of spiced wood, but he liked it since it reminded him of the things that their ship's healer Fran would burn. While his mother always got into spats with the stern healer, at least when it came to the healer trying to have his mother take it easy when she was feeling unwell, Ronan found himself there constantly because of the accidents he caused with the bruises and cuts to show for them.
Perhaps though he had been a bit too impatient to spend his coin and rather than waiting on the merchant or anyone else to come around, Ronan had the amazing idea that he could just light some of the incense on his own. Said idea would have been fine if a pair of teens hadn't rushed past and startled him. It was a very long moment in his perspective, his very short lived life showing before him in a slow-motion of sorts, but Ronan could not catch the lit stick and watched as flames started to lick at the wood and spread across the stall towards the next as the teens even carried the sparks with them in their own panic. "FIRE!" The bellow from other shoppers pushed the boy into motion as he darted backwards out of view, racing around the side of the building before turning back to try and grab a bucket of water or anything else that he could use to try to put out the flames. Hopefully he could put it out quickly and he was even more hopeful that no one had seen him start this one!

Imani had wanted a quiet day. The boy had spent the morning reading over some tomes, the young hybrid surprisingly quieter than his energetic parents, and now that the ship was getting busy with the crew working on repairs he figured that he could take a walk. Maybe he could pick up some snacks or find some more books at a store in the Matori town where they were staying for the night? They were supposed to set sail the next morning once his parents and the rest of the crew finished whatever business they had here, but Imani somewhat wished they would sail tonight. He was almost out of good reading material and wanted to go back to his favorite bookstore back in Belrea. They should definitely have restocked by now. The boy frowned thoughtfully before tucking back a stray curl and starting through the market to look for books.
He had left a note in case Endellion looked for him, but Imani was not expecting to see Ronan. What is he up to? The boy frowned and thought about turning the opposite direction until yells of fire caught his attention. Ronan! What happened?! Why was Ronan running back towards the fire?! He saw the bucket in his friend's hands and a sigh left his lips. Really?! Why not leave that to the adults! Still, he could not help chasing after the other hybrid as he did not like the feeling of leaving the hopeless boy alone.

Endellion had coin to burn.
A half-full pouch bounced against the younglings hip as the little hybrid perused the market. At first she thought that maybe it might be better to see if Imani wanted to come along, but when it was obvious that the older boy wanted to stay back she'd gone along without him. After all, it didn't even look like he'd noticed she'd left, so she didn't fuss.
There was a list of 'healing herbs' Del needed to pick up before they set sail again and it was imperative that she have them! Toad skins that would wake a man up from unconsciousness, fish oils to help keep curls fresh (just don't touch them; it was extremely sticky) and a book because all of Imani's books were wrong.
She'd been out for a good few hours now when a ruckus started up. Her bag of components on her side, Endellion jogged toward the sounds, and saw a sight.
First Ronan running away with a bucket, then Imani chasing him....Well, she'd instantly given chase. How could she not?!
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" She yelled it just loud enough that she hoped the two boys could hear, but not so loud that it would be heard by the adults. Or at least, she hoped

Today was definitely a day that Ronan wished that he didn't know how to count. It was bad enough that he struggled with the basics in comparison to others like Imani, but now he wished that he didn't know how many stalls were already catching fire. What was it three or four stalls now? Ronan let out a curse that he had heard from the crew, something he probably shouldn't know about just yet, but the youngling continued to swing the bit of water he had grabbed towards the fire while others started to race around him.
Another pair of Matori raced past, knocking into Ronan and nearly swinging his now empty bucket towards the fire. "No, no!" He gasped before a pair of familiar hands came from behind to grab the bucket from the air. "Oh thank goodness....IMANI?!" He let out the gasp, a bit of relief mixed in with his panic and shame before the hope died at the sound of something worse than the fire. Del. Ronan's gaze widened at the super loud exclamation before he darted forward to grab the other boy and tug him into their little corner. "N-nothing!" He stammered in a loud whisper. "I'm just trying to help out since I saw a fire! We need more water!"

Left alone with the bucket, Imani could only sigh as he watched Ronan try to drag his sibling back towards their little corner. "Why do I not believe you, Ronan?" He quipped towards the younger boy before glancing around. Thankfully in the chaos of the situation, with many of the adults scrambling for water to try to put out the other stalls before the merchants lost all of their goods, he didn't think anyone had heard Endellion's accusation.
"Since we showed up we should either leave or get more water, right?" he held up the bucket he had rescued before kicking a couple of more that he spotted towards the pair. "Use that energy to help out. Let's go." He shot Ronan a glance before offering Endellion a small smile. Even if Endellion did some strange things, mostly poultices that made his stomach turn and remedies that didn't match with his own research, he had faith in his sibling that she wouldn't have started any fires like this. Ronan however....well that was a completely different matter.

"Why are you so sweaty?!" She asked with a wheeze herself. Del might have been an active little spitfire, but she wasn't used to sprinting. Smaller bursts, quick detours and jumps were more her speed aboard the ship. She placed a hand to the stitch on her side and looked around at the - woah! That was another stall that caught fire!
Turning back to the two boys she started to piece it together. "Wait, did you actually do something Ronan?!" She hissed, and did her best to look over her shoulder. At first she'd just thought maybe Imani had come to town after Ronan, but this....this would have been good blackmail if it wasn't so scary! This was real fire with real problems! Turning back to him, she gave him a stern look before taking head of Imani's words. "Later, Bubbles; right now we gotta move!"
There wasn't much in the way of buckets for her to grab on the way over, but Endellion managed to get her hands on a pot. It had been set out to grab rain water - or so she hoped - and top it off with more water before tossing it on the fire.

"I'm not sweaty, you are!" Hissed back Ronan even though his accusation made no sense because he actually was the sweaty one. Between running around the stalls, the fire that was getting dangerously too big and his own nerves the boy was probably able to fill his own bucket to douse the fire with! His cheeks darkened to violet as he watched Imani take his bucket before he grabbed the second one that came bouncing over his way. The stern look made his shoulders tense, but then thankfully the other two younglings started moving and Ronan found himself jumping back into action.
"There's a well of water nearby. Lots of people are running there." He called out as he started moving quickly past Ronan and Del. "Just don't strain yourselves, I've got this!" Ronan gave his best confident expression even though his heart was racing loudly in his ears as he darted forward to try to move along with the group of earthlings carrying water back and forth.

Imani simply nodded at Endellion before moving after Ronan. "I'm sure you got something alright." He retorted quietly before starting towards the larger well that was in the center of town. The whole time Imani kept an eye out for Endellion, worried about her getting pushed aside in the flood of helpers. Thankfully they arrived when a lot of people had already filled up their buckets and various containers so there was an opening for them to fill up their own. "Go ahead, I'll keep an eye out and fill up my bucket last." His gaze swept back towards the crowd, the flames seemingly dying down since so many people had jumped in to help out the situation.
"I think it should be okay soon." He commented with a soft sigh of relief, his gaze burning somewhat from the lingering smoke. Imani definitely would be happy to get back on the ocean again away from this mess. He just hoped Ronan hadn't gotten into anything else or would get into serious trouble for this one!

Endellion took a half step back and held up her hands, passing a look to Imani. She really wanted to know the full story now, but Del was smart enough to know what to prioritize. Work first, interrogation later!
Running with the pot was awkward at best, but the little hybrid made her way toward the fountain just shy of the boys-
-until a sudden burst of flame caused the crowd to swell. All at once the flames doubled in size and strength, reaching up into the heavens like an unholy image. For a moment all Endellion could do was stare while bodies ran past her, screaming about the fire reaching the oil vender's stall, and accusations being tossed around about why no one had thought to clear it out.
In that moment Endellion felt so much smaller than she pretended to be. She gripped the handles of the pot tight enough to ache, and her wide, frightened eyes never left the fire.

Ronan struggled to toss another bucket of water onto the fire before nudging the other two forward. "Let's just help out and then get out of here!" The last thing they needed was to get caught up in a situation like this, especially when it was one of the first times he had been allowed to go shopping on his own! What a horrible decision that had been! Ronan's cheeks flushed darker at the thought as he glanced between the older children before the sudden burst of flame made him gasp. Oh come on!
Still, he couldn't help moving forward to put his body between the fire and the other boys. It was his fault after all and he would rather burn before letting any harm come to his fellow crewmates! "There's another well to the side, I saw it last run for water." He managed glancing between Endellion and Imani. "We can avoid the crowd and help out." Or worse case...his gaze shifted as he glanced back towards the docks. They could always run for his papa and have him call down a rainstorm. Wouldn't that be an answer even if it got him in a ton of trouble?
"Papa could help..." He did admit with a soft sigh as he glanced around. Why wasn't anyone else able to calm the fire instead of just running back and forth with buckets? Man, what luck!

"Careful." Imani's gaze flickered with worry as the fire exploded around them. The very thought of his sibling being injured made him move forward as well, Imani protectively hovering in front of Endellion and next to Ronan. "I think we should go to the other well. We'll be crushed in the crowd." He managed as the crowd was shifting back towards the main well that they had raced towards earlier. There was no way that the trio of children wouldn't get crushed by so many earthlings!
He wished he had something like magic to help with the situation and even Imani couldn't help cursing softly under his breath at the sight of others just tossing more water. Thankfully others had grabbed buckets of sand from the nearby beach to try to tame the newer flames, the oil not working well with the water as others quickly realized whenever it jumped higher instead of calming down. "Maybe we should just go back to the ship...the crowd is getting bigger so surely someone can handle things here." He hated the idea of leaving a mess alone but his family's safety came first and they were on a ship, nothing in this town would affect them if they allowed it things to play out however the fates decided.

If Endellion had been starting to panic it was quelled by the presence of the other boys. At least, for the moment. "If we get back to the ship quick enough then no one will have to know we were here." As much as it left a bad taste in her mouth it seemed like the better option. "Imani's right; we'll just be in the way if we stay." The fact that no adults had taken notice of three children running around an emergency scene yet was impressive, but it wouldn't last long. Eventually someone was going to take notice and then try to find their parents.
The last thing Endellion wanted to explain was why she was here.
"I say we go back, pretend like we were playing around the dock and then act like we heard a sound. Ronan, you can tell your papa and we can spread word too."

Ronan's chewed his bottom lip thoughtfully. Endellion and Imani both had a point about going back to the ship....but he felt so terrible about everything. Though technically he wasn't the only reason this had gotten out of hand. Those older teens had bumped into him and spread the fire after all! Ronan's expression darkened at the thought before he finally gave a quiet sigh of defeat. "Okay then." At least they had done their best by throwing some water on the fire before the whole crowd of adults came running over. Then he could at least mention to his papa that they had noticed a fire....
BAM
What sounded like a large crack of thunder was the sound of one of the beams of a nearby stall breaking, the support weakened by the fire and nudged by a pair of racing earthlings who knocked into it. Ronan didn't even wait to think about things as he jumped forward and collided into Endellion. The boy squeezed his eyes shut as he waited for the impact, but thankfully the beam landed a few feet away from them instead in the direction he had been worried about. That didn't keep Ronan from staying still though as he kept his arms clamped around Endellion, his whole face scrunched in both determination and fear.

BAM
The very sound had sent a thrill of terror through Imani. As Ronan raced ahead, the older boy instead swerved to look for the sound's origins. Thankfully though he saw that it was tilting back and forth slightly away from them. His heart pounding painfully in his ears, Imani could only take a few steps forward before watching as Ronan tackled his sibling out of the way. If the beam had actually fallen there then...Imani's face paled as he glanced around and moved into action.
"I think that's our cue to leave." He whispered as he reached down to help the pair of younglings back onto their feet. "If the crowd wasn't going to notice us before then they definitely will now if we linger. Let's go!" It wasn't often that he made demands but Imani was serious in the moment and ready to leave this disaster before anything worse happened to them. He gave Imani and Endellion a moment to regain themselves before nudging them forward so that they could disappear into the crowd and get back towards the docks.
