[About The Family]  Siyo'Jini (Jovi of Shadows) - FatherA large lion who had a particularly difficult start in life. Raised in cruelty and taught how to endure and inflict pain on others at a young age, Siyo'Jini has struggled all his life to find a balance between the monster that had been created and the peaceful soul he longs to be. He lives to fight, testing his mettle against the odds, and leading a pride of mercenaries with his best friend and partner in crime, Thayiga'Thunzi the leopard. As the Boss of the Tani'Ajiri, Siyo'Jini is known to be merciless to those who double-cross him and his pride. But, on a more personal level, he can be a bit awkward with social situations and emotions and feels out of place or like he doesn't belong in 'civilized' society. He much prefers to do as he pleases without worry of social restraints holding him back and can pretty chill and relaxed when he's not on the job. He met Kiv'mauti years ago when they were adolescents but has only just recently found her again. She is his everything, and he will fiercely protect her from anything that might try to harm her. As a father, Siyo'Jini will have a soft spot for his cubs that will bring out his playful side more and more. He wants to give them the cubhood that he never had, and though sometimes he might faulter, he's willing to learn from his mistakes. Siyo will definitely want to teach his kids how to fight when they get older, even if they're not interested in becoming a mercenary, as he feels it's necessary for them to know how to protect themselves. Kiv'mauti (Jovi of Shadows) - MotherA small lioness who doesn't like to talk about her past. It's painful and filled with loss and cruelty, and she much prefers to live in the moment where she can be with her Siyo'Jini. He is the only creature she can truly trust in this world, and she can be a bit slow to warm up to newer acquaintances. Kiv'mauti is a determined and willful lioness, who is not beyond taking matters into her own claws if she sees the need to do so. She has a love of exploring and finding useful things for others and is always that friend you can count on to have your back once you've gained her trust. Despite a somewhat guarded demeanor, she is a loving soul who cherishes those around her. Her relationship with Siyo'Jini is one of love and appreciation, and perhaps a bit of playful mischief as well. These cubs are her greatest treasures in life, and she is bound and determined to raise them with every ounce of love in her bones.
