≡ A bat with crimson colored wings flew swiftly through the night, silhouetted against the starry sky. High overhead, Celeste made her way across the verdant countryside of Cambridge, until she arrived at the familiar grounds of an elegant tudor style mansion.
In her bat form, she quickly descended down into the gardens at the edge of the property, where a swirl of shadows began to surround her. When the shadows dissipated, Celeste was now transformed out of her bat form, back to her usual self. She adjusted her velvet cloak and swept her cascade of dark raven hair over one shoulder, carefully making her way through the gardens to the front steps of the mansion.
The female vampire paused for a moment, nervous as to what he'd think after not hearing from her for all these years. Celeste quickly shook her concerns away and knocked on the front door."I have received the letter that you sent me, William. I know it has indeed been a very long time,"She began to calmly say, her voice smooth as she spoke.

William was pondering moves on a chess board when he heard an alert on the security board as his bulter walked in,"Sir your guest has arrived", replied the older man he was in his late 50s and was turned by william years ago, in total only 3 members of the staff were vampires the bulter, the nursemaid, and the 'cook' which used to be an actual chief in his current life before transforming and made many lavish meals for William's human clients. William stopped pondering the moves on the board,"Very well I'll get the door Celeste is abit old fashion", he commented quietly fixing the cufflinks on his sleeves before his vampiric speed took him out of the roof so swiftly and to the front door as she had just finished knocking onto it,"Indeed it has", said William opening the door with a wide smile,"Come in lady Celeste I'll have my staff bring us some refreshments", he commented,"Would you like Cedric here to take your cloak?", he asked as the butler had walked into the room not long after his master had opened the door he gave the lady a respectful bow before offering his hand for her to leave her cloak. while william began to comment,"I suppose we have alot to catch up on.... I know I havent heard from you since Maria's death", he gave soft sigh as he headed toward his drawing room where a roaring fire was waiting for them with two cozy and large laid back armrest chairs in deep red, he sat down waiting for Celeste to take her seat,"Your travels have been well?", he asked her.

Fenrir and Mia were stepping their foot at the front of the entrance of the mansion, while they had to watch their back from hunters. Fenrir look up the front yard, he was astonished of Courtmyan's property. It was neither big or small compare to his and Mitsuki's home property with shrine. Mia stared at the mansion as she remembered when she was human, she and her younger brother were once wealthy family until the Great Collapse. Fenrir glanced at her, noticing her astonishment. "Mia?" He called out her name, which she suddenly snapped back to her reality and she looked at him. "Oh I'm sorry, this mansion reminds me when I was a young human before my parents died and Great Collapse." She apologize and smiled with a fond memory she grew up, and how her younger brother was born. Fenrir remembered Mia told everyone about her human life, so he closed his eyes and smiled. "Hmph, I don't know William will be either surprise or not, if he learned when you were a human as the daughter of the diplomat and music teacher, then you and Nicola became the revenant to fight back against the Lost." He noted about Mia's background, if William finds out about her. They walked through the front yard. "Oh before I forget, I will request him or his servant to serve you some tea. Hannah told me her grandfather kept the human, who are criminals or prisoners, as blood supplies." Fenrir said to her, yet he will convince William to serve regular tea for Mia, since he and rest of revenants choose not to taste real human blood because according to Coco, it was addictive. Hearing this made Mia felt the cold sweat on her forehead, knowing it will hard for him and herself.
As they approached the door and would ring the doorbell or knock a bulter would be opening the door for them,"Master William will be with you shortly follow me", he allowed them inside and showed them to a drawing room which was set near a fire place it had 3 large comfortable chairs and a small table in the center which served an assortment of fragant tea ,"Salutations", he called to the pair of them ,"Pardon I haven't had many visitors to my home since well.. my wife was murdered in the 30s you do understand", he smiled at them warmly showing his pair of fangs and replied,"Do sit down and enjoy this look", he showed them the tea,"this is a special concoction of magic... i've been working with the mages and we have come up with a way to have blood but in various tea forms and the best part is!", he said in delight,"It actually taste like tea", he chuckled,"I haven't had a good hot tea in so long I was over joyed to make this discovery we are patenting the product and selling to all other vampires world wide I'm sure it will be a hit I've been drinking these for awhile...", he paused glancing up,"Ah forgive me how rude I get a bit excited", he replied,"It is lovely to see you Fenrir and you my dear", he paused and smiled at Alice,"My name is William Courtmyan miss and who might you be", he extended his hand out in greeting towards her.

Mia and Fenrir followed the butler, and heading to drawing room, and greeted by William. Fenrir listens to him talking about his wife's death by murder, which he slightly lower his eyes to think about his mother's death and Amaterasu chose to reincarnate. However he said nothing, while Mia glanced at him in concern. William was talking about the tea with blood, but it's actually taste like real tea. Mia was doubtful about his claim, so she took a seat and sit down. She shook his hands as she smiled. "Nice to meet you Mr Courtmyan, I'm Mia Karnstein." She introduce herself to keep in diplomatic manner, like her late father. "William just to let you know human foods Mia and I are the only way to retain our humanity, even we don't look like them." He pointed out their human food consumption will reminded both Mia and himself when she was a human, and he as half human before they became revenant. Mia picked up the tea set, and did the taste test by sipping the tea, it's surprisingly taste like real tea, she couldn't taste human blood. "Goodness, it does taste like tea." She said as a praise, while she looked at the tea. Fenrir glanced at Mia, who continue to drink a tea like she's enjoying a new favor. He was amused that she drank the tea despite the human blood in it. He looked at William. "You want to know about Hannah's progress?"
William was ecstatic to hear Alice's reply but his mood quickly turned a bit disappointed as he heard fenrir reinstate they would need human substance and not to be drinking the blood tea,"Very well", he rang a bell setting it down as he took a seat,"Yes Master?", asked the butler as William replied,"Bring us an assortment o'l chap and make sure its human appropriate", he smiled as the butler just bowed his head,"Of course sir", before leaving the room,"Yes Hannah I hope she hasn't gotten into to much trouble... she is rather... used to getting her way", he replied someone sheepishly as if he knew he did wrong,"Its hard to not spoil your only heir I mean I sadly have no family left", he frowned,"That being said I did try to make her a good girl before she fell into the custody of your...", he paused to think of a suitable term to call Mitsuki,"Partner's care", he concluded.

"She is working on progress, and giving her blood bead to sustain her blood thirst. However, I strictly teach her to defend herself and shared the knowledge of hunters I used to cooperate with." Fenrir replied about Hannah's progress, including vampire hunters knowledge he used to work with. "Although, Hannah can be handful." He added about how much handful she was. He and Mia listens to William talked about how hard not to spoil Hannah, but she is only family he had left. Mia understand because her younger brother is only family she ever had left, despite he became revenant. In other hand, Fenrir couldn't care less about his own father, since he and Echo ran away after he massacre entire population of Wallachia year after his mother's execution. His right rand reaches over his collar shirt to grab the chain necklace that holds his human mother's wedding ring. He stared at it sadly, showing how much he misses her. William mentioned about Mitsuki as "partner's care", Fenrir lifted his head before he let go of necklace with his mother's wedding ring under his shirt. He closed his eyes and took a deep breathe. "My girlfriend knows how to handle her with training dummies, while I did keep monitoring her. She teaches her to be graceful fighter, and rely on her friends. She take her and her two students to battle to help out humans, friendly or neutral demons away from danger, while hunting the demons or creatures of the darkness. Mostly suitable for students, so she can observe their progress. Sometimes, she had to be away for... odd jobs to take care of." He replied, yet he and Mia didn't want William to find out Mitsuki as the Master Assassin because it's a secret, so Fenrir use the term "odd job".
William smiled,"Well thats lovely news do wish she would come visit me", he sighed,"I feel ever since she had that adorable little crush on that daemon boy adryn I think his name is.. she hasn't been bothered to hardly call I suppose I'll have to wait til she is all adventured out..", he commented sitting down he smiled,"I.. would have rathered kept her safe... there isnt a day that goes by that I dont worry she will get captured and die as well... but.. I believe in her and her friends and I know Fenrir that you notable as well as Lady Mitsuki.. her teacher.. I am sure.. that with you both teaching her she will remain safe. This is my greatest hope", he told him quietly sipping tea,"Though it would be nice to see her again", he remarked,"I can't helicopter her you seen how well that panned out", he laughed,"She ended up finding you all in the process";

Fenrir let out a deep chuckle. "I will let Hannah know she should contact you or at least stop by when I see her." He said when he sees Hannah, he will tell her. William continues to talk about Hannah and her safety, even when he helicoptered her. Fenrir dropped his smile, and he and Mia exchanged glances at each other. Now they understood why she was spoiled and quite protective towards Ardyn. Fenrir looked at William before his superhuman hearing picked up the sound of fainted footsteps from the front yard. His eyebrows furrowed, and then he looked at Mia, who also heard the sound of footsteps. "Mia...""Don't worry, I will check the front yard by the window." She quickly answers like she knows what he will finish saying as she stands up. She picked up her signature bayonet, brodiaea, and then headed to the foyer. Fenrir turned his attention to William, focusing on the subject of Hannah. "She is more or less overprotective towards Ardyn, it was a real pain in the a** for me and Mitsuki when we took her in under our wings. It took us h*ll of several times to try and convince her to let Ardyn fight on his own. Heh, it's funny, I was like that whenever Mitsuki ran into trouble against either demons or hellish fiends who tried to kill her. I know she can handle it on her own, but I can jump in whenever they overwhelm her. I only worried about her being naive." He added about Hannah's overprotective towards Ardyn, it was a real annoyance for him and his girlfriend, however, he smirked amusingly because he was also overprotective towards Mitsuki, except he toned it down because he knows she could handle it on her own, but having too many cowards can overwhelm her, so he had to save her. However, her naiveness causes Fenrir to jump in either to rescue her in time or thwart the trick anyone tries to pull on her.
William turned toward the sound as well even though his vampric hearing wasn't compared to that of a werewolf or dog demon he could hear just as well having lived for several hundred years helped as well,"Do be careful Ms. Mia", he told the young woman as she made to observe what was outdoors,"Well little girls do like their crushes", he smiled in amusment,"i remember this one time hannah was obsessed with a friend of hers.. long story short he was like a little pet for her which did worry me", he said with a slight frown,"I suppose its better that she got bored with the human boy because well it could have ended rather badly", he said with clentched teeth,"And it is rather hard covering up mistakes... if you understand me well Fenrir", he cleared his throat,"I hope I have not been to informal with you buy calling you by your name", he concluded.

William mentioned what happened to one of her friends whom Hannah was obsessed with, Fenrir closed his eyes to painfully remember what happened after his human mother's execution by the group of churches. Her death was what drove his father mad and started the war on humanity by giving the entire Wallachia citizens a year for churches to beg for forgiveness or face death by an army of hellish fiends. Yet, he physically and mentally harmed his son after he begged his father not to kill all innocent humans, but justify the church by executing one of them. His friend, Echo, witnesses everything and helps Fenrir escape. A year later the entire Wallachia citizens are slaughtered, and two dhampirs can't get over the scream and cry from dying humanities were either devoured or slayed by demons they have failed to save. Then this comes to Amaterasu, he remembers when he first met her, she easily approached him and became curious about him, and she noted his white wolf form. She sympathized with him for losing his mother and his father became evil, she even told him what her family was like, her father murdered her older brother, Kagu-Tsuchi, out of grief for losing his sister-wife, Tsukuyomi killed Ukemochi out of disgust, and Susanoo went rampage after the game for giving "birth" to more kamis. In return, he sympathized with her having her family problems. He even treated her like a person, rather than the queen or royal, which she didn't even mind because she enjoyed interacting with him and humans. However, this relationship he had with her had issues, he only saw her when the sun was in the present and she feared her brother/ex-husband would kill him, so they both separated and she made her unbreakable promise that she would find him again when she reincarnated. That was the first heartbreak he had experienced until he fulfilled her promise by meeting Mitsuki. Fenrir slowly opened his eyes and looked at William, when he apologized for calling his name. He went silent for a good amount of ten seconds, and he slowly sighed. "It's fine, honestly, I don't mind if Hannah calls me teacher or something, the master is Mitsuki's title. Fenrir isn't my real name, Mitsuki named me because I refuse to tell her mine after what my father did over five hundred years ago." He said nonchalantly and he didn't seem to mind about it, mentioning what happened over five hundred years ago. Suddenly, Mia came back like she was fast, however, her face looked alarmed. "I hate to interrupt, but there is a man out there. He looks like he's holding hostages." She alerts two gentlemen about the man. Fenrir turned his head over his shoulder, raising his right eyebrow. "What does the man look like?""He looks human in a business suit with ghostly white eyes and white hair, but what I noticed was a few skeletons holding the hunter and another looks new, I think that belongs to another hunter you and I saw earlier. I noticed he didn't smell like a human." Mia described the mysterious man's appearance and hostage situations. Fenrir, after learning the description of ghostly white eyes and a white-haired man, looked extremely shocked and quickly got up. "SH*T!" He cursed and ran towards the foyer. Mia looked surprised, then looked at William like there might be some trouble. Fenrir reached the door and slammed the door open, his predator's golden furious eyes met the seemingly middle aged man with white eyes, yet amused. The young man, the vampire hunter, looked terrified by staring at the now hollowed hunter. "Still soft with a human I see. Hmm, even your appearance hasn't changed since you and your dhampir friend left." The man spoke out like he was an influential businessman. Fenrir spared his glance at Hunter, who made eye contact with him. He shows sympathy towards hunters, even pity for another who has an unfortunate fate by death. He gave the man a dangerous glare as his golden eyes slowly turned glowing red. "What the h*ll are you doing here, Zobek?" He revealed the man in a business suit named Zobek. Zobek smirked and lifted his arms. "Lord Dracula sent me, but knowing you as his son, you don't come out. I brought the human hunters... well the female wasn't corporate, so I reaped her soul to give the human man an example. You won't let that man suffer the same fate as her, don't you agree Prince Gabriel."
William blinked in concerned when Mia returned informing him about the hostage situation he got up with Fenrir and followed him outside to witness a man holding what seemed to be two vampire hunters,"Well thats unfornuate they know where I live", sighed William,"You good sir what is your business here", as Fenrir demanded for the man as Zobek to Answer him,'Ah yes Sir Zobek? please dont make a bloody mess at my front door the staff do hate cleaning that up", he commented in annoyance, "Makes things difficult", he mummered under his breathe,"If they know who I am I'll have to have them disposed of and I do know Fenrir isn't too fond of killing humans like that...", he thought to himself with concern.

Zobek turned his ghostly white eyes towards William, even Fenrir was stunned to see him stepping outside. Before Fenrir tried to warn him, Zobek's lips were thinned. "This isn't my business with you, I am here for him..." He said firmly before he lifted his right hand to point his finger at Fenrir. "... my master's son." He added. Fenrir glared at him, yet glanced at the terrified hunter while calculating how to deal with Zobek and rescue the hunter. He leans towards William. "William, you need to back away. He won't listen to anyone, but my father. He might reap the hunter's entire life source like he did to the huntress." He warns him that the person in front of him won't listen to anyone, but his master. He gestures him towards the now hollowed dead huntress. Zobek focuses on William, and then he suddenly smirks. "William. Ah, William Courtmyan. If I recall you were once a human until my lord turned you into a vampire. Tragic death of his first wife and human daughter, humans are shortlived. If only that certain god wasn't too fond of humans." He said like he's been ruthlessly toying with human's lifespan, mentioning one god. Hunter began to whimper. "H-How can't we kill him, none of my weapons had any effect on him. Is he immune to death? How did he kill the veteran with a single move?" He whimpered in fear, however, Fenrir eavesdropped on the hunter. He gets annoyed by the vampire hunter's narrow-minded, yet the huntress had gotten herself killed. He looked at Zobek. "Still ruthless and cunning manipulative as ever to toying with humans. Even you reap the huntress' soul to draw me out and spare another. This isn't like you Zobek, you once worshipped him, until you found out he rather become benevolent and hunt down evil souls. You became like him in his former self by becoming a reaper. However, you will never become like him, but you sadistically laughed that night and joined the war when my father unleashed his entire fiendish armies to slaughter all the humans who lived in the city of Targoviste. While you reaped and consumed their entire souls with your signature weapon. Vampire Hunters needed some spell to banish one of the entities." He commented to hint who the vampire hunter was dealing with. The Hunter stared at Fenrir as he put the pieces together, the necromancer, soul-stealing, and the weapons that were impossible to kill. Zobek didn't seem to be concerned if the hunter or William learned about him. This clicked the Hunter, he slowly looked at Zobek in grave shock. "Are you saying... we fought the Grim Reaper!" He screeched to learn Zobek was no other than Grim Reaper. Zobek scowled as he summoned his own Death Scythe. "Shut up human, or I will f**king reap you!" He shouted to make him shut up. Fenrir narrowed his eyes as his right hand reached for his sword. "Nope, he's just the Reaper. The title of Grim Reaper belongs to no other than Lord Death himself."
William's eyes seemed to flash as the man named Zobek insulted his past family memebers he stepped forward,"You are going to need to leave sir and take your intrusion with you", the air around them began to drop in temperature as ice crystals were forming around william's hands,"Your Etiquette is very unposh", he commented with somewhat irritation,"If you have business with my guest it will be after they have left my estate", he announced meanwhile all around the estate the magic users hired by Courtmyan were already setting up entrapment magic if this man made a scene he would be imprisoned soon enough within the estate and if he was imprisoned William would be able to use his full power and destroy him;
