Prehnite wasn't strolling, he was stalking; moved through the offbeat paths and underbrush like some creeping vine -- wasted energy to teleport here n there when nothing caught his view. Like it mattered so little to him -- like it was nothing.
Because, in some ways? It was. There would always be more of it, aimless chattel wandering around just after dark. Like herds of loaming health nuts, desperate to stay in shape, to see a star, to sniff some still blooming rose tended to lovingly by the cities grounds-people.
He was a General now, let his aura speak for itself and keep lesser enemies off his trail, would've welcomed a fight if one crossed his path, but so far? All that'd crossed him was three joggers, a dog, a pack of cyclists, and his own building ire for his most favorite of spaces being overgrown with dank, brown, gushing, rot. To say that Prehnite was peeved?
An absolute understatement.
That blankly blinding ire boiling over as he spotted, in the distance, like the tinkling of a warning bell -- some soft small aura -- not a Super, or an Eternal, or a Knight...
Chibis
Would ever order learn not to have them roaming around off leash and alone? He'd been polite before, but tonight? He'd left his manners at home, had none to spare as he wormed his way closer and closer still -- ever scanning for a form to connect to the sense of things..

Mary was still moving swiftly, still sniffling after the failure she had just experienced when trying to go up to her homeworld with Daphne, and worst of all, she was half convinced that now Daphne would be upset with her for just running off and getting upset. Maybe it wasn’t that big of a deal but…she had been so excited to show her friend around…well. As around as she could if it were dark again.
So focused on just getting home, Mary wasn’t feeling for any auras, or even looking where she was going, and when she ran right into a very solid object that caused her to yelp in confusion and stumble backwards, landing hard on her bottom and looking into the face of…
…Of…
Oh…oh now that she wasn’t thinking about her own things, he…
Oh he was strong. As strong as Malus was, but wrong. The wrong type of strong. “I…I…I’m so sorry…I…wasn’t looking where I was going…I…”
Swallowing hard, Mary couldn’t seem to look away, but she was willing for her body not to start trembling out of fear. “I was just. Trying to get home…”

The man made more to show tender love n care for plant's n mulch than people was, astounded, at the stuttering youth that'd walked straight into his personage, into his Aura -- like a dog tripping into an invisible wall. Prehnite couldn't help but start, slack jawed and wide eyed staring at the girl before him.
Always these little girls full of soft hopes n tears, just waiting to become corpses' in a war that they should've been warned from. The only thing that benefited from their existence was maybe the soil they were left to in the aftermath..
Certainly his psyche did no better upon finding one, another, ten, twenty. Prehnite bit back an obscenity; the fingers of his left hand curling round a hilt tucked into it's holster. Hiding the pommels poisonous gleam.
"Where in all of God's green Earth do they keep finding the likes of you? The toddler store? A mythical Chibi fountain," the satire squeezed fresh over wounds full of sardonic tones n rolled eyes. Prehnite's humor was blood from a stone, a rare impossibility, and yet! Magically did it appear for just such an occasion. "It's fine though, I'll send you home....back to your star...or asteroid..or blazed bit of comet-tail-frost that'll eventually collide with our atmosphere n burn up into nothingness." he sounded near tired, the words trite n low, of all the thing's he'd wanted to hunt tonight -- expected to find -- and even when he knew what' he'd been prowling upon he'd hoped against all hope that the chibi might not have been so utterly alone.
It was fine though, right? Like teaching a lesson harshly so that it'd be easily learned. Because if he didn't teach her lessons who would? The world? Certainly it hadn't, if she had any senior in charge of her at all she wouldn't've been going home dawned up in full regalia.
Prehnite was a teacher at heart though. Whether he'd chosen it or it'd been ingrained in him over years of serving.
It was with that thought in mind he unsheathed his twinned dagger with a flash, took a step towards her prone form, another, a come on n bated breath waiting for more than her flinch and tremulous words.
"Before I help you back 'home', a lesson. Important things. You can learn it in this life, teach it to yourself again in the next."

There was a moment where Mary felt far more indigent than she felt afraid, but the words penetrated her mind and she realized that he was very much talking about killing her...and that…
Well. That made her feel more than a little queasy.
“I’m seventeen. I’m just. Not great at this that’s why I’m still a chibi, it’s not that I’m a kid.” She was still a kid, but not the same kind of kid that he was making her out to be. He talked a lot though. And perhaps…perhaps that could save her.
Slowly, she inched backwards, hoping that the dagger armed male wouldn’t notice.
Though…there was another aura nearby…another strong one. And this time it did feel more like Malus. With a loud cry of “Help!” Mary got to her feet and broke into a stumbling run.

"Help!"
Honestly, she heard it before she truly processed it, was already on the way before the cry completed, was already hitting the ground running with the agility of geese to boost her to separate what was a weaker aura from an assuredly stronger one. And she saw the chibi senshi, first, sympathized with her plight because she was fairly sure that chibi was as old as she had been before she finally shed that moniker and replaced it with transcendent..,
Son of a--
That b***h. She knew him. She knew him well.
She came at him like a lightning bolt as she smashed her fist into him.

What -- was -- that --
Prehnite clocked the oh so familiar Aura before he clocked the form; dainty fist lighting quick and it staggered him onto a back heel as it landed across his face. Here he thought he'd been playing with some simple little chibi -- the hell it was they were all magically seventeen and miniaturized!! Maybe he just had a penchant for bad picks?
It hardly mattered as he spat blood into asphalt, the scrabbling body of whom he still considered very much a 'child' forgotten in exchange for---
"Little gosling all grown--", and if it wasn't the ugliest duckling, taken up in glow like a false swan, and of course she glowed now! He should've killed her then, ******** all his personal bullshit that'd stayed his hand, his nicety, because now she was going to be so much harder to kill.
He wasn't a Captain anymore though, and she? Was still a few feathers shy of being a proper princess. "Not even a hello? Rude."
The hand that held his dagger flicked, and it erupted in fire aimed her direction.
Poison Touch: Contact with Prehnite's blades produce severe effects of Dieffenbachia poisoning for 20 seconds - causes itching, burning, inflammation and nausea. However, these effects are only applied the first time an individual is struck in a single battle.
"Taxane's Fire" - An eerie chartreuse green fireball leaps from Prehnties dagger in a radius of up to 20 feet; when it hits the target it feels like being hit with a baseball and contact is caustic enough that it can cause skin agitation or acidic burns. Lasting damage is up to the player, but the blast can also briefly poison a target; symptoms of poisoning can include a fast heart rate, muscle spasms and labored breathing for as long as the player likes. He can repeat this action 3 times.
