Alizeh stood next to her sister as she stared out at the ship they were supposed to be boarding. It was huge. But also small when compared to the open ocean. She knew the earthlings trusted it to take them from one piece of land to the next but she had some concerns. Not to mention it likely wasn't meant for the taller Aishans.
After a few blinks in which she took the vessel in as a whole she turned her head to look at Luleta. "Well..." She wasn't even sure what to say. It looked sturdy? How did one compliment a ship?
Her gaze went down to the tiny earthling they had with them and offered her a smile. Ali was trying to be as reassuring as possible.

To say she was happy that someone was finally taking her home was an understatement. Elaxi did feel a bit like she was being stared at though. She was a small earthling girl, thanks to some malnutrition, with two very tall Aishans. Nervously she took a step back so that she was closer to Alizeh and Luleta and reached a hand back to grab at one of them, she wasn't sure which one. "I don't remember the ride over... will it be scary?" Her words were soft as she questioned how things were going to go.

Meanwhile, Luleta was bouncing on the balls of her feet with anticipation, completely unconcerned with how silly she probably looked to everyone else. This would be a longer journey than she had ever taken before, but this time there was no family waiting on the other end to pick her up. Thankfully, she had her sister at her side! It was going to be amazing! She looked at her sister and grinned brightly. "Well, indeed," she mused with a chuckle. It wasn't her first time on a boat, but it would be the first earthling-run transport. The tension was as exciting as the anticipation! She looked down when she felt a tiny hand brush her own. With a light chuckle, she took it without hesitation and gave it a reassuring squeeze. New things were often scary in a way. "This will be our first trip over there, so we're not sure. I bet it will be nice though." She gave her sister a grin again and gave the small hand a gentle tug. "Come on. We'll need time to find a safe and comfortable spot on there."

Ali had only been on one other ship and that had been when she and her sister were still young and accompanied by both parents. She hadn't much paid attention to the mode of transportation at the time. However, hearing her sister be excited about it made her worry less about it. So she shrugged and motioned for the three of them to get moving. "Alright."
"Any preference on said spot?" She looked at Elaxi as well as her sister to see what the two thought.
When she caught sight of Luleta holding the earthling's hand she offered a smile. "It's alright. Luleta and I won't let anything happen."

She was still staring when she felt her hand get taken by one of them. Elaxi looked to see which one it was. Upon seeing Luleta she smiled shyly and gave a small nod to her statement. It would be nice. The reassurance from Alizeh kept the smile in place. The question about preference had her shaking her head though. "N-No. I don't think so." She once more looked up at Luleta to see if she had any, just a quick glance before she was looking at the ship again. Elaxi didn't make a move until Luleta did and she kept a hold of her hand the entire time, not wanting to get lost.

Luleta pursed her lips lightly as they got closer to the ship. "This one's a lot bigger than the others I've been on... I don't actually know." She looked at the other ladies and smiled encouragingly. "We'll find the best spots though. Don't you worry about that." She was a bundle of nerves underneath all of her excitement. Going all the way to the other island... Tendaji. Matori. The home of the earthlings. She had heard it was completely different than Yael, but all she had was stories. One could only put so much stock into someone else's tales. The bustling crew slowed their work to stare at the odd group approaching the ship, but most already knew that they were having strange guests on this particular trip. A Matorian male approached the trio and nodded. "Ma'ams. We have a bunk set aside just for you. I'll show you in now if you're ready."

Alizeh looked at Luleta and smiled. "Then we can add a bigger boat to the list of things you've experienced. " She was adding it to her list. That was for sure. Ali felt excited but she was also nervous.
When a crew member approached them Alizeh smiled. She'd learned from her interactions with Esai that earthlings seemed to relax more that way and weren't so skiddish. "That would be appreciated, thank you." She spared a look to Elaxi before motioning for the girl to follow along. Though she was more relaxed knowing her sister had the tiny thing's hand.
"Let's go put our bags away and then we can look around or we can rest. Up to you." Alizeh was okay with either option and she figured her sister would be too since they had endurance training. She wasn't sure how tired Elaxi was though.

She looked up at Luleta again, listening as she said this ship was bigger than others she'd gone on. Of course Alizeh got her attention when she spoke too. Elaxi looked a bit silly looking back and forth between the two. A small smile formed as she listened. She felt safe with the pair and it showed in her body language. When the Matorian approached her instant reaction was to press into Luleta's side. Almost like she was trying to hide. But Elaxi stared at him. His appearance was familiar in a vague sense. He shared common traits with her grandmother and the neighbors she recalled as a small child. Keeping close to one Elarian she looked at the other and nodded. Putting their bags away would be good. "Okay." So long as she wasn't left alone or forced to go to sleep she would be fine.

Luleta chuckled lightly. "Yes. There will be a lot added to our lists for this trip!" It continued to surprise her when the earthlings were so short. She guessed that this was a fully grown male, but he didn't even reach her shoulder! Oh, they had a room chosen for them? Luleta couldn't help a small pout. She had wanted to explore the ship and pick out the best spot.. but she'd heard that bunks were often assigned in the more crowded ships. At least they could still explore. She nodded to the Matorian and he turned to lead the way. She looked down at Elaxi and gave her hand an encouraging squeeze. "We've got you," she said softly as she followed after the man and her sister.

Alizeh smiled fondly at her sister before she looked down at Elaxi. "It's okay." She reached over and took the girl's bag from her since it would be awkward to carry it though the halls and cling to Luleta at the same time. It would make for a tight fit at the very least. "I'll carry your bag, come on."
She followed after the Matorian and looked around excitedly. While there wasn't much to see inside a ship she still liked seeing what she could.
Over her shoulder she looked back at Luleta with a smile. "I recall the other one being bigger, or is that just because I'm taller?" A giggle left her. She knew the answer but wanted to point it out. She had to duck her head to avoid giving herself a concussion on the doorway.

She watched the two sisters and felt herself smiling more at their interactions. Of course she let Alizeh take her bag. There wasn't much in it. One of their mothers had managed to get a few supplies for her to take along while the other had managed to get her at least one change of clothes. Elaxi hadn't wanted to go back to the Yaeli family that had taken her in just in case they did let her leave. When the Matorian led the way and Alizeh followed she looked up at Luleta with a smile and walked with her. Of course she was being curious now. Since she didn't really remember the last time she was on a ship she was taking this opportunity to be nosey. Luleta still had her hand so she felt safe and neither one would let something happen to her. As Alizeh asked a silly question she looked up at her, noticed that she had to duck her head, and giggled. "You're tall." Her voice was still soft spoken but she was clearly not going to break out in tears each time she spoke now.

Luleta stared at her sister a moment before she let out a laugh. "Gee, I wonder which one it could be~" she mused. She raised her hand to her chin as though it required a lot of thought and watched Elaxi with a smirk. Of course, she had to duck down as well in order to pass through. The ship was definitely built with earthlings in mind. Her antennae brushed along the ceiling annoyingly before she decided on keeping her head down more. "I'm thinking that back on the deck will be better than down here," she said with a glance the Alizeh. Running through a tree-choked forest was one thing. This felt like climbing through those caves. "What are you thinking, Elaxi. Do you want to look around or would you like to rest here first?"

Keeping her smile in place she looked back at her sister once again. "They built a smaller ship, right." She laughed a little then looked at Elaxi when she answered. A wink was given to the girl.
Ali was doing the same as Luleta by keeping her head down enough to prevent her antennae from touching the ceiling. It was a very uncomfortable feeling to have them drag across it.
When it was mentioned that being up on deck was better she nodded her head in agreement. Still, asking Elaxi was a good idea. So when Luleta did that she kept an ear out for the girl's answer. If she wanted to rest then she and her sister could either both stay with her or one of them could go out and explore to figure out where they could spend time.

She giggled at Alizeh's answer. Though she looked up at Luleta and saw that she was ducking down too. She didn't like that things weren't made for her taller friends. She'd have to make sure they traveled in more comfort for them. Or at least mention it. As it was mentioned that being up on deck would be better she glanced between both sisters. Elaxi could see why they would think that. So she didn't want to make them stay inside if they weren't comfortable. A small frown formed as she thought about it more. So when asked if she wanted to rest or look around she didn't hesitate. "Look around." The smaller girl looked up at Luleta with a somewhat determined look. "Its t-too small."

Part of her hoped that Elaxi would desire staying out, and she was relieved to hear the agreement. The tiny girl's observation made Luleta pause. She looked down with surprise and curiosity, and then smiled warmly. There was no way this was too small for the wee little girl. Such a sweet little thing! "Okay, we'll go look around first. Let us know when you get sleepy though." She set down her pack, but paused with her hand on the strap. Would their things really be safe with these earthlings around? With a snort, she shook her head and released her fingers. If anyone dared to mess with their stuff, it wasn't as though they had any place to run. They would learn their lesson quickly. With two sets of bunk beds in the small room, she assumed that the last open bunk would remain as such. If not.. well, she could always just move the extra cot out into the hall. They were already sharing a ship with strangers; she wasn't about to have on in the room with her! "Okay, let's head up. We should be pulling away from the dock any minute now."
