Lazurite wanted to do something new, and so she pulled up the name of a random other Negaverse senshi and sent them an invitation through the tablet.
Quote: Hi! You don’t know me, but I would love to be friends! I’m trying to network as much as I can, I’m Super Sailor Lazurite, Negaverse Senshi of Nectar, I report to General King Jet, and I would love to meet up and talk! If you’d like to meet me in the park near Westville Street, I’ll be here until about ten! I hope to see you soon, Alkmene!
There. The message was friendly, gave her information and an invitation that he could choose to ignore or not. Regardless, the important thing was that she had tried. One didn’t become an ambassador to other Negaverse senshi without trying.
Sometimes…trying was all a person could really do anyway.

It wasn't often that Alkmene got messages form people outside the team on his tablet--the ability to shoot off a random message to anyone you liked seemed startlingly underused--and so it was with a bit of confusion that he opened the one he received.
The name Lazurite wasn't familiar, but that was okay; the last time he'd run into a random Corrupt Senshi, it had gone pretty well, and another round of getting to know someone certainly wouldn't be bad.
Quote: Hey, Lazurite! I know exactly the park you're describing, be there shortly.
He'd busked there, before, as Malachi. Hadn't really done that much since getting his new identity, but maybe that was a thing for Haru to consider doing.
For the moment, though, he was Alkmene, meeting another Corrupt Senshi, and so he focused and teleported.
God, he loved that ability.
It took a moment to find her, but he suspected that the blonde in blakc and blue was probably who he was looking for.
"Hey," he said, giving a quick wave. "Lazurite? I'm Alkmene."

“That’s me! I’m Lazurite!” Beaming, Lazurite bounded over to him and held out a hand. “I’m glad you wanted to come! I’m really trying to branch out and meet others like me, it’s…I mean, I think it can be kind of easy to feel alone in all of this, and I was told that I’m quite friendly so I should go and meet people…you’re actually the first one I’ve just…reached out to so…I’m really hoping this goes well.”
She drew in a breath, and then paused, grinning rather sheepishly. “No pressure though. If you decide that we get along like oil and water, that’s okay! I’m still going to reach out to others, and if you know anyone who might want a friend, I’d appreciate a name or two I could reach out to, if you know any other Negaverse Senshi like us.”
It was okay okay, maybe she should make a script for the next time she decided to do things this way though…if she could make a script then she wouldn’t be sounding like an awkward serial killer, and honestly…sometimes that’s the best you could do in life.

Alkmene took her hand and shook it, already a little bowled over by her enthusiasm. Then again, it was always nice being surrounded by high-energy people, and it wasn't like this wasn't exactly how Albite was, literally all the time.
"It's nice to meet you," he said. "And I think that's a really good goal. I got lucky--my sister's one of us, too, and she's on a team, and she brought me onto it. There's a lot of Corrupt Senshi there, under General Faustite and Eternal Albite."
And, he hoped, him, someday. He'd gotten to Super, and his magic was fixed, and he wanted to get himself up to Eternal. He was, he thought, quite more than good enough to have buttwings.
"And, for what it's worth, I kinda like you already. So: I'm Alkmene, of Envy, under General Faustite, and it is a pleasure to meet you, miss Lazurite."

Lazurite beamed, feeling utterly proud of herself and excited for how well this seemed to be going. “I would love to be introduced to any of them, if you’d have the time?” Rocking back on her heels, the corrupted senshi looked almost thoughtful for a moment. “If you have the time now, can I treat you to dinner or something and we can keep talking? I mean, we can stay powered if you want to keep this as a professional friendship, but if you want to like, legit be friends…which is kind of what I’m looking for…”
Hesitating for a moment, Lazurite made sure that there was nobody else around, that this wouldn’t compromise her, and then let her powered form fade, her braids shrinking up into two little dinky ones that didn’t even reach her shoulders.
“I’m Gabby, but if you want to keep it professional, then that’s that, and I’ll head home!”

Alkmene thought about it for a moment, but really only for a moment. He'd tried the real-friends thing with Daphne, and it had worked out pretty well, so why not try it again? And, anyway, he and Hina were pretty well off, but not so well off that he'd turn down free food. So, honestly, it wasn't like it was a particularly difficult decision.
"Dinner sounds great, actually. And besides, I like getting to know my colleagues on a personal level. Makes everything work better, honestly." And that was only half a joke; he liked that expanding his network as a Senshi was also expanding his network as a person. Especially since so much of what he and Hina both did was less about your actual skill and more about who you knew and who you could connect with. Even if it turned out that Gabby wasn't in any useful kind of business, for him specifically, maybe she knew someone who was. Besides, she seemed fun.
He powered down, giving a little wave as he did. "Haruhiko Yukimura, at your service." He bowed, grinning the whole time. "Call me Haru. Now, what did you have in mind about dinner?"
Clearly, he needed to take advantage of the random message feature on the tablets more often.

When he powered down, Gabby worked very hard not to squeal and hug him, well. She managed to not hug him, but she did squeal, delighted by the fact that this plan had worked so well.
“Perfect! Okay, Haru, I’m thinking something fun, if you trust me, we’ll find something fun!” Honestly, she had a great little ramen place in mind, and without letting Haru have the chance to argue, she set off, laughing brightly. “Come on! I’m hungry, and I want to know everything about you!”
This was the start of a fantastic new friendship. Gabby could already tell.
