Late nights were his favorite time to be out, even though he knew it was dangerous, and perhaps it was in part because he was looking to get more hands on with this war. Maybe it was also the all important, for him anyway, fact that he disliked looking like a human when he was not a human. He liked looking as he naturally was, tail and all.
He'd heard the park, the big one in the city, was known for lots of interactions between chaos and order but that's not where he went. He was wandering near to the park in the hopes of coming upon someone low ranking, much like himself. He would, if in their place, not be looking to enter the park where someone of a high rank might be, someone who could do serious damage to a low ranked officer. He was hoping to pick off people close enough in rank to himself, before they could gain in rank and power. Once he was stronger, once he had acess to all his magic and strength, he'd wander into the park more freely at night. Tonight was not that night - yet.
Booted feet moved over the pavement, such a foreign thing to him, as blue eyes were keen to spot anyone who might turn up before he could sense them. He knew chaos had mauvians on their side and they could cancel out an aura, so he might not sense someone before they turned up. He didn't like the enemy having the element of surprise, who would though? So far no one though.
"Still early." He whispered to himself. He had time to kill, a lot of it, and was going to wander the perimeter of the park until someone turned up.

Ekanite was just starting his patrol, wandering into the pack and looking for a place to power up. There really was no one around as far as he could tell, so he doubted he even really needed to go and hide. Somehow, he doubted his General would like it if she found out that he was reckless, though.
It would sort of ruin all the effort he was putting in to proving he was capable of using the power she had given him. Showing her she did not have to worry about him all the time. He saw how tired she looked, and though there was a lot going on that was well beyond him, he wanted to do his part to make things easier for her.
In his simple way of thinking, that meant getting his own energy, and fighting his own battles. Being strong enough to not only take care of himself, but support her as well. Repay a little of the debt he owed her. Somehow.
Ducking behind a tree, he powered up and immediately felt more relaxed. The night was a lot less spooky when he was more than just a normal human. Not that he was afraid of much these days.
Though there was always a chance to experience something new.

As he continued his patrol, continued walking, he felt it - finally. Chaos. Smiling he headed towards the large stone wall which cut the park off from the rest of the city. Scaling the wall wasn't too hard, not when a low hanging tree branch could be put to use.
Landing lightly on his feet inside the park, surrounded by trees and bushes, the fair haired senshi of glaze ice headed towards the signature he could feel. Someone was here and he wondered if he'd catch them collecting energy...or starseeds, that was still a terrible and horrifying idea to him. He would stop the Negaverse on this planet, though not alone, but it needed to be done.
Now where were they....?
Trailing off in his thoughts as he looked around the darkness for his prey. He knew they were close at hand, he just needed to find them. His senses were not as percise as they once were and he did not like it - at all.
