It had finally all been set up and they were finally ready to go. Until now, Dawn had been too busy to be able to be nervous about the trip. Nervous and excited too. It was finally happening!
From Dani Bones (Dawn had learned a few months ago that she was a Chibi Senshi and she had been helping teach them about being Senshi since), younger sister of Dria Bones, once close friend of Dawn and Davie's, they had learned that that they had Homeworlds, that they were name after, and that in other lives were meant to protect. Now they were in ruins, and at some point would need to restore them.
Since then, they each had gone for a few minutes each, alone to their own Worlds several times just to build up some strength. Now they would be going together to both of their Worlds (Giclas first, as Dawn had won rock, paper, scissors). However, it wasn't like they could just pack up and go - they were foster kids after all - foster kids with secret identities, - foster kids that Laurie Brox, their foster mother, would fight for and do anything to protect.
They had to have a plan and no it couldn't be just that they went Camping - not only would they have to get permission for that (and that would not be likely), but there would also be the problem that Laurie would check on them, and also check with the person in charge of the Campgrounds. So, they asked Dani about it. Her face had lit up immediately. "I have a plan." She returned the next day with her older sister, Dria (who was still in her Sovereign Heights, and Dria's twin brother Drew who was still in his Police Uniform.
Dawn and Davie of course were they themselves shocked that Dani would reveal their secret, but then Dria placed her hand on Dawn's shoulder and said, "Oh Dawn, we are so sorry we haven't been here to welcome you to the faction earlier and help you out in any way we could." "Fa-ction?" Dawna and Davie stuttered together.
Drew smiled, "Why the Faction that White Moon Senshi and Knights are a part of - the Faction of Order that fights against the Chaos Faction trying to destroy our World of Earth."
"Then... you two are... as well." Dria nodded. "Senshi, as well, for quite some time, now." Drew commented. "And don't forget Guardian Cats!" came a young small voice, as something came running in the underbrush. Then suddenly, a little silver kitten with Egyptian-like gold anklets around his four paws, came flying out of nowhere and jumped unto Drew's shoulder. Dawn and Davie were startled, but not surprised that he could talk.
"Please meet my bonded Mauvian, Dauris Ammun." Drew introduced him smiling. "Yes, how could I forget Order Guardian Cats - oh yes, there are different versions of almost any Faction type Warrior on every Faction. We'll explain that another time." He commented to Dawn and Davie's intrigued but confused looks. "Now, Dani was telling us about this problem you have. You wish to visit your Homeworlds, but have no legit way to get away without adults checking in. We may have a solution to that.:
The planned was for them all to go Camping. From there, Dawn and Davie would power up and travel to Giclas, and spend some time there. Drew, Dria, and Dani would remain in Camp. At an appointed time, Dawn and Davie would return, take an hour or two break and check in with Laurie, then power-up again and travel to Abramov, spend time there and then return take a break, and then they would all return home.
Drew and Dria and Dani had planned it perfectly, both for themselves and for Dawn and Davie. First, all of them were all old friends or brothers and sisters - nothing odd about them getting together. Laurie would feel comfortable Drew (and indeed with him being a Police Office) and Dria (and indeed with her being a model student at Sovereign Heights) going with them (the same with the Bones parents and aunts about Dani and her brother and sister). Mr. and Mrs. Bones felt comfortable with Dawn and Davie - they knew them well.
The group told people that it was going to be an End of Summer Bash Camping Trip and it just happened to fall on the break between Dria's Semesters, and the week before Dawn, Davie and Dani's New School year began.
For Drew as an Officer, he was able to take paid leave as he was 'hosting' (and to make it true - he was paying for the whole thing) a couple of foster kids for a Camping Trip - and for certain steps of decency, he was also bringing his twin sister and his younger sister.
Indeed, they had it all planned. In fact - Drew had bought everything that they needed - he even came to each of them individually and asked what they would specially need for their personal trips to their Homeworld and arranged for that. He personally did not have a car - he preferred a motorcycle, so instead he had rented a Camper Van.
Furthermore, besides Dawn and Davie checking in once between trips with Laurie, Drew, Dria and Dani would check in with both their own parents and Laurie in place of Dawn and Davie and would tell Laurie that Dawn and Davie couldn't come to the phone at the moment, because either they were asleep, swimming in the lake, doing their business, out hiking, or something to that measure. So, they did indeed have it all planned out. Nothing that the Bones parents, Laurie, Drew's Superiors or anyone else could call suspicious. And everyone, including Laurie had agreed to it.
And now they were ready. Dawn had finished packing her stuff, and Davie, his stuff too. Laurie of course saw them off, as Drew picked them and his sisters up. And off they went.
