Hy-Brasil stood at the coordinated meeting place. She had arrive early out of nervousness. Asking for assistance wasn’t something she was comfortable with, typically choosing to roll solo if at all possible, but the cards dealt to her made it impossible to work alone. It irked her, causing her to become testy and a bit irrational at times, but thankfully she had her head on her shoulders. Over all, considering the creeping sense of dread, helplessness and depression, she was feeling particularly good today. Hopefully it would last. The mood swings could come swiftly and with intense results.
The warehouse chosen as the meeting place was blissfully quiet and there wasn’t any hint of any chaos signatures near. Perfect. It seemed luck continued to be on her side. With everything quiet and free of signatures when the squire grew close, Hy couldn’t miss it.
She let out a breath to calm jittery nerves.

Perhaps it was fortunate that Hy-Brasil wouldn't have to wait by herself for too long. Richtersveld had always been the type to arrive to meetings early. It made her an interesting contrast to her siblings; the two of them had always operated on a more casual time frame, in that Nemyi preferred being fashionably late and that Zotsholo really only cared to get there on time if it was a meet. Probably why she had been always dragging them around when she was younger. These days, it felt like the opposite. She shifted her belt at her waist as she approached the warehouse, taking a deep breath and steeling herself for the feeling of anything chaotic nearby. That never came. What did come into view was an Earthan knight. Her smile was easy as she settled her shoulders, approaching with a wave. "Hy-Brasil, right?" ... Unless this was some other Earth knight. "Richtersveld of Pluto here."

The arrival of the squire was noted with her signature. She turned to the girl and offered a smile. "Yes. Hy-Brasíl of Earth. Thank you so much for coming Richtersvelt." Goodness why did this feel so award? Hy sucked in a quiet breath of air.
"I don't want to keep you too long if you're busy." Considering how many of them likely were crunching in time for everyday life and to go out and patrol, most considered their time valuable. Hy as well. "I've been having some struggles with my Wonder and in turn it's been affecting me." That was enough to explain, right? She bit her bottom lip in thought.
"My ancestor suggested a tincture to help but it requires ingredients from other homeworlds and wonders. So that's why I called you out here. I was hoping you could help me with one of the ingredients."

Richtersveld shook her head, holding her hand up. "Don't worry about my time. I have time for anyone who calls themselves a follower of Order." She often had time for the followers of Chaos too, to be honest, but she didn't know Hy-Brasil's opinions on that front and had no interest in getting into a philosophical discussion. She took her psychologist's oaths very seriously. It carried into this new form she had adopted. Richtersveld would bow those oaths for no other. Not even those who wished her to fight back harder. "Does your research think Richtersveld," she giggled, "the wonder, but I suppose myself as well -- can help in some way? I'll provide whatever I can." She wasn't as versed in things about wonders as she should be, but healing those of Earth had taken her primary focus. Perhaps her wonder could be a place of healing too, though. Perhaps there were others she could take up there, other things she could find up there... She breezed her thumb under her ring.

"In fact, yes." She offered a brief smile in thanks to the squire. "You and your Wonder both since you need to be the one to assist me fetching what's needed." Hy shifted a bit uneasily as she ran a hand over her skirt to smooth the fabric down in an obvious anxious habit.
"I am in need of an item from your Wonder. Well, I suppose it's more like a few items to are one. According to my list, you have a tea blend that would make a strong base for the tincture. Do you happen to know anything about it?" This specific ingredient, like most of the others on her list, would likely require Richtersvelt to have some knowledge about her Wonder. It wasn't uncommon for people to not be deeply involved with their Wonders. At least, that's what she had noticed. Even though, Hy had spent quite a long time on her Wonder, not everyone seemed as dedicated or even interested.
"I, unfortunately, don't have any more information than that. Jus that it's a special tea blend from Richtersvelt. I have no precise ingredient list for it." Seiana_ZI I have NO idea how I missed this tag. I am so sorry this took so long!

The fact that the list Hy-Brasil had obtained had cited Richtersveld in particular was a fascinating one. She didn't know much about her wonder, but she had quickly gathered it was a very isolated place. It didn't seem that people came there without a need for something, likely what they were viewing in the pool that now looked so cloudy. She worried, for a moment, that it might have been the cloudy waters, and she frowned minutely if she might have been the reason why the knight couldn't actually complete her recipe at all... Oh. Her features softened as relief took her features. "I understand that was heavy to look at."
"... Aye. I think I need a few moments, if you don't mind?"
"I'm here for as many moments as you need. Time has much less specific meaning on Pluto." She fiddled with her skirt for a moment, before venturing, "Would it help if I fetched some tea?""I have some memories of my past self intentionally heading back to her little hut to get some tea. Wouldn't be surprised if the blend you're looking for is in there." Richtersveld offered her hand out to Hy-Brasil. "If you're up for it, we should be able to head there right now." Richtersveld understood there was some sort of time delay between visits, but she hadn't been able to go as frequently as some others may have due to her earthly obligations. They should be fine.

"I am willing to look." She responded when Richtersvelt mentioned the tea she sought might be stashed away on her Wonder. It was apparent that the knowledge on how to make the tea blend wasn't something the squire knew. There was a lot of hope being placed on this memory, but what did they have to go off of at this point.
It was interesting that Richtersvelt must have been a reincarnation of her past self. Hy didn't have memories of past lives, only the ghost of a past descendent of Hy-Brasil. She wondered if it was more difficult for Richtersvelt to rely more on memories of her past lives? Hy didn't dare ask the question though. It felt too much like prying.
So, instead she took the proffered hand. "No time like the present. I'd rather get this done as quickly as possible." Because who knew how long she'd had before everything became too much once again.

Richtersveld chuckled gently. "Now it is, then." "I pledge my life and loyalty to Pluto, and to Richtersveld. I humbly request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine." In a few moments, their surroundings were much darker and much ... quieter. Richtersveld swore when she was here she could hear herself breathe. She had heard stories of other wonders finding things like animals and bugs and wildlife, but she hadn't seen much in the way of that yet to add to the absence. All she saw was the distant sun, her cabin, some trees surrounding all of it, and a large pool of silvery water that called her name as much as it rejected it. The cloudy appearance just wasn't right, and she wasn't sure she'd ever really figure out why. She knew people used to be able to see things within it, visions of the past primarily, but now-- "Richtersveld. It's a bit quiet here, but that's pretty typical of Pluto." She let go of Hy-Brasil's hand, moving to the cabin. "You can stay inside or come to the cabin with me." Cabin was a loose term for it. A small domicile clearly meant for a solitary person, there were a few windows and seemingly one room altogether. On the inside, it was, with only a curtain separating the bathroom area from a rustic kitchen, dining area, and bed. She moved to the kitchen area immediately, opening up some steel cabinets to find what she was looking for.

Hy-Brasil was surprised by the sheer quiet of the wonder. It was oddly disconcerting. The woman wasn't sure she had ever been in a place that made her feel as if she could hear her very blood moving through her veins. The world around them was a perfect depiction of what she'd expect in a place lacking any real sense of life. It was just as unnerving when her host spoke, as if perhaps speaking was a sin against some great homage of silence.
"I'll come along." She remarked, not sure if she really wanted to be left alone. The silence felt like an invitation for her mind to begin roaming. For intrusive thoughts to begin to bloom. At least with her fellow knight, she could focus on something besides the nothingness.
The small cabin didn't leave much to the imagination. The one room wonder certainly made it easy to get the lay of the land. Hy vaguely wondered what it must have been like for someone to live in a place like this. Surely they loved their solitude, assuming Richetersveld leaned into the solo style. It was hard to tell though with the state the Wonder was in right now. Hy could vividly remember how Hy-Brasil had been when she'd first arrive to how it was now. While not highly developed, it was on its way. This still felt like a clean slate waiting to grow.
"The pool is interesting." She said to break the silence beyond Richtersveld opening and closing cabinets. "Feels like a focal point. The color is beautiful." She'd never seen a pool with a true silver sheen. On Earth it was usually just a trick of the sun hitting the reflective water just right.
Seiana_ZI I TOTALLY missed this tag on my list. SO SORRY! crying
