Hobbies:

Paranormal shenanigans – Ju doesn't believe in ghosts. However, Ju goes on ghost tours whenever he gets the chance. He'll spend the night in haunted asylums, go breaking into condemned properties armed with whatever low-budget recording equipment his friends have on hand, and he always has a good time doing it. He likes being around people who are keyed up and aware, who are so attuned to the moment that they could hear a pin drop in the next room over. Of course, he's the first one to blame if they start picking up strange noises, and he was voted most likely to move the Ouija board planchette in his high school yearbook.

Music – Music was an acquired taste for Ju. He didn't want to pick up an instrument when it came time to obligatorily learn one, and his stubborn refusal granted him the last instrument that was left in stock when every other kid took their pick. Ju was then made to learn the grubbiest, most banged-up, disheveled-looking flute in the school's repertoire of instruments, and he very slowly learned to enjoy it. By high school, he was middling at it, and it took some patient convincing by his grandmother to take a music elective in high school. To his surprise, his teacher was marvelous at motivating him, and had somehow convinced Ju to both enjoy playing and purchase his own flute. Now he plays in the evenings on the balcony of his grandmother's apartment.

Tattoos – Growing up, Ju noticed that a lot of people looked at tattoos and assumed unruly youth, and he had decided from a young age that he wanted others to look at him and think the same thing. He thought that tattoos would be the easiest way to express himself such that others would know who he was before he even said a word to them. With a bit of research, a bit of drawing, and a bit of cousin harassment, he got his first tattoos, and developed a surprising fondness for them. Now he's constantly got plans on how to spend all his money on touch-ups and new projects.

Virtues:

Optimistic – It takes a special level of effort to get Ju's spirits to sag. He's one of those rare few that's still excited to wake up and face a new day, no matter what it brings. Being alive is pretty neat, that way -- anything can happen, and even if it's a stressful thing, that's like its own new experience, right? Self-improvement, just served up to him, no questions asked. Even apart from looking at adverse impacts positively, Ju generally finds his days more enjoyable if he thinks they're going to be good days, or trusts himself to find a way to make them into good days. And he's always open to being pleasantly surprised.

Affable – Ju likes talking to people, and he likes talking to people more if he can get them to smile. Unlike his cousin, he's not afraid of people, and suffers no trouble chatting up strangers, whether for directions or simply to pass the time. He finds others easy to like for their personalities, their antics, and their dispositions, so he's always interested in introducing himself to someone new or keeping an acquaintance talking. As a bonus, he generally smiles often, and it always reaches his eyes.

Adventurous – Ju wasn't raised with much fear, and his parents blamed that on his grandmother. From a young age, he had a propensity to go off on his own or find new places to be. As a toddler, that meant rooftops, but as an adult, Ju loves finding new places to people-watch, or expand his repertoire of daily haunts. Visiting a new place or doing a new thing is exciting, whether alone or with people. He likewise loves trying new things, like graveyarding his soda or eating those weird new double-plus-healthy overnight oats just to try them out. If life wasn't flavored with new experiences, it would turn out pretty bland!

Flaws:

Irreverent – Places have rules, and people have boundaries, but Ju learned that he can sort of step around those pesky things if he pretends they mostly don't exist. Sometimes he pretends he doesn't understand what these rules or boundaries are, because it's easier to get his way that way, and he's less likely to get tossed out on his a**. Really, nobody was created to be above him, and sure, he's supposed to respect people, but what fun is life gonna be if he does what other people tell him all the time?

Careless – Since he's comfortable going places he doesn't belong or bulldozing people's boundaries, Ju is careless in both an interpersonal and a situational respect. He is not one to treat borrowed items with much reference, and often enough, they're returned to the owner more damaged than when he received them.

Annoying – Ju frequently gets on other people's nerves, whether it's through his insistence, or his childish antics, or the way he just smiles and smiles and smiles knowing he's slowly getting under someone's skin. Because of his little mischievous streak, he may go out of his way to irritate someone if he knows they're susceptible to irritation. And some of his mannerisms are just annoying in their own right, from his too-loud voice indoors to the way he holds himself to his diction. It's like he has a second sense for grating on someone's nerves.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Neon green, sharp and mischievous. Usually with orange eyeliner.

Hair: Black, long, straight as a board. Worn with the front tied back, and a few stray bangs frame his face.

Face: Sharp, gracile, corners of the mouth are usually upturned. His expression has a habit of pissing people off at first glance, and he's said to have a very punchable face.
