Periclase felt another corrupted senshi out nearby, and they were on the same level as she was, so of course she wanted to see who it was. She doubted that it was Ferris, if they were going to have patrolled together…they would have left…to patrol together.
When she got within sight of the corrupted senshi, Periclase paused and looked them over, amused with the outfit, but impressed with it too. The lace was lovely, the colors…while a little too bright for her tastes were lovely too.
“You and I could almost be twins at this rate. Purple and green with lace, I love it.”
Her voice was raised loud enough to get the other corrupt’s attention, and she hoped that he was friendly.
“I’m Periclase, Senshi of Hemlock. It’s nice to meet you.”
Hopefully it was nice to meet him, hopefully this could turn into a new friend. Someone to patrol with. Someone else to talk and vent to.
Truthfully, she doubted it but…she wanted it to be true.

It really was always nice to be appreciated. Alkmene grinned, and gave the other Corrupt a little wave, looking her up and down appreciatively.
"I love that sheath dress look, it does great things for your figure," he said, and there was a lilt of amusement to his voice. Truth be told, he could see himself wearing something like that, if he had to have a full dress uniform.
"I'm Alkmene of Envy. Pleasure to meet you, Periclase," he said, and he stepped forward, extending her a hand. "Up to anything specific tonight? Or just out taking in the scenery?"

Peri took hold of his hand and gave a small shake. “Just looking to make new friends, and I’ve run into you, so it’s being pretty successful so far..”
Hesitating, she did a little twirl and looked rather pleased with the compliment that he was giving as well. “Thank you, my figure is always great on its own, but you’re right, it’s something really special when I”m in uniform.”
Senshi of Envy…that was a fun sphere. “Tell me, what does your magic do? Do you want to show off a little? Magic for magic? Mine may make you feel a little sick but…it’s always good to know what a potential patrol partner can do, don’t you think?” It would get her a little practice as well…and practice could never hurt. Learning to aim better could never hurt.

"Making new friends is as good a reason to be out as any," Alkmene said, amused. "And hey, maybe we can find some shenanigans to get ourselves into later tonight. It's more fun with friends than by yourself, anyway."
The question about his magic made Alkmene hum.
"Why don't you go first, because what my magic does, is take away your ability to use yours." He shrugged. "It probably works best on officers, means they can't summon their weapons at all, which is funny, considering. So go ahead, hit me, I'll take being a little sick."
Probably wasn't smart to burn off his partner's magic, but he'd just...aim low, take her basic spell, and they'd still have plenty in reserve.

“Oh!” Periclase looked rather interested for a moment, thoughtful. “Wait, do you get to like, use it? Is it like that pokemon move where you just, steal the enemy’s s**t, and you can use officers and take their weapons because, that’s ******** up and fantastic. And I’m…” She smirked. “...For lack of a better word, I’m envious.”
Winking, Periclase held her hand to her lips and blew a kiss. “Hemlocks Bite!”
If he was going to take her magic, then she would be sure to show it off well first, perhaps it would upset him so much that he couldn’t attack back…now. That would be something fun, wouldn’t it?
“It doesn’t last long, Alkmene, and I do apologize for the discomfort that you’re going to feel, but I promise it’ll pass. Hemlock’s no joke, after all.”

"Oh, man, no, I wish, that would be really cool--but, you know, envy likes to destroy what it can't have? So." Alkmene sighed, wistfully. How much more useful would his magic be if he could, say, use it to borrow someone's weapon? Hit a Senshi with their own magic?
But that was why he had a team, wasn't it--his magic wasn't great on its own, but he could wear down the enemy while someone else went for the kill.
Her magic came at him, and he took it, and had to close his eyes and clutch his head against the wave of sudden dizziness.
"Damn," he said, "no joke for sure. That's gotta be a great distraction, yeah?" Get them off their game, and then...pow, as it were.

“It really is. It keeps people off of my back, and if I had any friends with weapons, I’m sure it’d be a great time for them to just. Shove it through their guts too!” The words were said with a rather amused laugh, and Periclase hesitated. “Are you okay? I did try to warn you, but the warning doesn’t do much, I’ll admit…also, I’m sorry that your magic doesn’t let you use their stuff, that’s…rude. I’d write to the…I don’t know. Magic overlords and ask for a redo if I were you.”
Honestly, Peri didn’t think that there was a Council of Magical Overlords but…if there was…she had lots of ideas for them.
“If you want, we can just call it a day and go grab food instead? I mean, if you can just take my magic…will I even know that you’ve done it?”
It wasn’t that she was afraid of his magic, but…it was one thing to practice if he could use hers but…another thing if…it just took hers.
After all, she wasn’t planning on attacking him again anyway.

Alkmene blinked, and then he laughed, nodding. "You definitely have got to get a friend with something sharp and weapony. I should introduce you to the Captain I worked under, she's got an axe and she's fantastic."
Really, his fondness for Jadarite could not be overstated.
"Anyway, honey, I'm just glad my magic works these days. ******** used to like to just ******** not, and always when it was most inconvenient for me, naturally." He shook his head, and sighed. "But it does, now. It and I have reached an accord, or whatever, I guess." Over Rockatanskite's dead body, but she didn't need to know about the specifics, really. That was between him and his team.
"Food and hanging out sounds great." That was still sort of being up to something anyway, and it would be nice to get to know her. Alkmene liked Periclase a lot; she was fun, and he suspected dinner with her would be a good time.
