Annoyance crossed his face as he tramped through the woods looking for his brother. Lynx had brought him along to Yael with him since they were after a few beasts. While Zohra wasn't going to be a beast tamer he was actually pretty good at determining whether or not an animal had a good enough temperament to keep around. However, he'd lost his older sibling in the woods when he'd run off after something or another.

"Lynx!" He called out. He didn't care if he scared away any beasts at this point, it would serve his brother right.

A huff escaped him as he moved out for the brush and onto a pathway of sorts. It looked more like a herd trail than a path taken by people. "Where did he go?" He scanned the area as best as he could. Zohra was far enough that he couldn't see the village through the tress but not so far that he was lost if he needed to turn around, so that worked in his favor at least.

Imri detested being this close to an earthling village. He came because his mother, Lucijah, needed some help with trading and since Zivah couldn't be counted on he was here to help out. Most of the time Lucijah had it covered on her own and didn't need him, but today he was sludging through it for her sake. Still, that didn't mean he had to go into the village proper so Imri did his best to remain around the fringes. Just close enough that if she needed him he would be here, but until then the teen could remain hidden.

Or so he hoped. It was hard to miss the way the other was trampling around in the woods, calling out as he was. Imri's immediate instincts were to hunker down, finding the thickest tree to hide behind until he realized that if he did that the sound itself would be the most obvious thing. Instead of being caught acting like an idea, Imri stepped around a larger tree and peered down at....a notably un-yaeli.

"Is your goal to alert every predator in the area to this spot? Or are you deaf?"

He caught the sound of someone moving so he turned to see who it was, of course they spoke before he fully got to lay eyes on them. Zohra knew they weren't his brother, whoever they were, but when he laid eyes on them he was not expecting what he saw. Zohraduri had to blink as he was eye to.. collarbone with someone. He looked up, tilting his head back a bit, and went blank minded. "Holy... You're big." Not the most eloquent thing he could have said but it was all that came to mind at the moment.

Zohra took a second to look the person up and down, mostly to try and figure out who he was looking at.

After a moment of staring, because yes, that was exactly what he was doing, he gave a small shake to his head. "Actually calling predators here might work." His brows rose a bit as he thought about that option. Would his brother follow the beast to him them? It was a shame he didn't have any bait to use. "But my calling out did get your attention. Is your name Lynx by chance?" If this person shared his brother's name then he'd be amused.

Imri leveled his gaze in a droll stare. "And you're small." Comparatively, anyway. As he was being checked out, Imri lifted his gaze and started to look around. It didn't seem as if the person this one had been calling out for was going to show up anytime soon which was good but also left him with a dilemma; now that he'd made himself known what was he supposed to do?

When he turned back to look at the earthling he was a little unnerved - embarrassed, maybe? - to find him still staring. "My name isn't Lynx and there are easier ways to die if that's what you're trying to do." Furrowing his brows, Imri debated on walking away entirely, but if he made his way into town, where his mother way, knowing that a stranger was just wandering around then he'd be in trouble for sure.

Zohra saw that they were looking around and since they didn't spot anything he knew his brother wasn't there, nor was there a predator to be concerned with. So he didn't bother to look. Instead he gave a half smirk. "So you don't share a name with my brother, that's good to know. Then what is your name?" He was curious as to what to call them. He didn't think yelling 'Hey tall boy!' would go over so well.

"Also, not trying to die, so keep your weapons to yourself, yeah?" Zohra didn't have any weapons on himself to defend with either. A stupid move on his part but he hadn't thought his brother would run off like he had. And with his outfit it was easy to see he had no weapon at all. "I'm just looking for my brother since he ran this way. What is a gorgeous shifter hybrid doing out here?" Zohra wondered what the other was doing in the woods.

"Knowing my name won't help you." Everytime he look back to the earthling he found something new that struck him as odd. If he wasn't a yaeli then what was he, exactly? His eyes reminded him of Lucijah's, but everything else about him was so opposite of her moontouched appearance that it left Imri stumped.

"If you weren't trying to die you wouldn't be out here. My weapons are the least of your concerns." Now Imri was done with this conversation. Instead of sticking around longer, he started to walk down the trail, using his longer legs to his advantage. He'd barely gotten a few steps away when the comment caused him to turn around so fast it was more akin to a keldari appearing from it's nest. Gorgeous?

Instead of feeling flattered, Imri was perplexed and a little insulted. Embarrassed, even? It was obvious he was being made fun of and the line of his lips thinned. He raised one hand, and leveled a pointed finger at him. "Don't." With a shaky exhale, Imri turned back around and started walking. "The sooner I drop you off in the village the sooner you'll leave, right? So come on."

When they didn't offer a name Zohra sighed outwardly. "Not a people person then." He muttered to himself. Reminded him a lot of the stories he'd been told about the Alkidike's. He knew his dad was part Alk so there was that. As the shifter mix turned to walk off Zohra had to lift his brows some. Of course that turned into genuine surprise as the boy whipped around again and leveled a finger at him almost accusingly and issued a one word command.

Instantly Zohra went from both brows raised to one and he tilted his head to the side so he could look past the finger he'd gone almost cross eyed to look at. When he met the shifter hybrid's gaze he seemed to lose his smile. "And apparently tall boy can't take a compliment." Again he muttered the words but not quiet enough to keep the other from hearing.

When it was said that he would be dropped off in the village Zohra snorted. "Yeeeah.. Unless it's your bed you aren't dropping me off anywhere. I know how to get back to the village on my own, I'm a big boy. I'm not wearing a collar so you don't get to tell me what to do." Basically he was stating he wasn't a pet to be commanded. "Though you may be right about your weapons, it seems your tongue may be sharper, Handsome." Without a name the shifter mix would be given a nickname.

His bed? Imri's hackles rose and in an instant he rushed the other teen. He grabbed the other teens shoulders, raised him up and slammed his back against the nearest tree so he was eye level with Imri. "When I told you to stop it wasn't a request and if I have to collar you I will. I'll cut your lips off myself and stitch them so tight around your neck you can't breath, then I'll use your tongue as a lead."

This was the closest he'd ever gotten to fully angry in a while and Imri was practically snarling. "I don't like being screwed with." He'd come to accept the nicknames and slurs from Aishans, but Imri wouldn't stand for them from earthlings. Flirtations were just sweetened lies for ignorant people and Imri was smarter than that.

Zohra wasn't quick enough to move out of the way so he was snatched up and slammed into the nearest tree. A groan left him from the impact and he closed his eyes tightly for a second. When he opened his eyes he was at eye level with the hybrid and his feet were definitely off the ground. Not a request huh? Zohra narrowed his eyes the more the shifter mix spoke. While the other's hands were busy holding him up he wouldn't be able to stop Zohra's legs from wrapping around his waist to pull him in closer and squeeze slightly. "Listen here, Kinky, I wasn't screwing with you. If I was then you'd know it since there wouldn't be clothes in the way."

His hands moved up so that he could grip the shifter's arms and give him some leverage. "Now first off, those were compliments. Not insults, if that's what you're thinking. I genuinely find you good looking." By now he was glaring at Imri.

"My name isn't Kinky." What did that even mean and why was he calling him that? With his limited experience around others, Imri saw little more than an attempted attack when the other wrapped his legs around him. It caused him to tighten his grip on the smaller male's shoulders, digging his hands in as if he were grabbing onto the hilt of a sword.

"You keep saying that like I'm stupid enough to believe it and lower my guard. " In all the jostling Imri's hood fell back over his head, fully exposing not only his scars but his dreads. "If you're not trying to insult me then why are you talking about clothes and beds? What does that have to do with any of it?"

Zohra cursed when he felt the nails in his shoulders. He was going to have to explain those marks to his brother later since it would be visible. His teeth ground together and he cursed out loud with a grunt. He wasn't trying to fight the shifter mix since he wasn't stupid. The boy was taller and obviously stronger.

"You won't give me a name so you get nicknames, deal with it."

When the hood fell back and revealed all of Imri's face as well as his dreads it made Zohra pause a little. His eyes took in everything there was to see. "The clothes and bed comments were crude flirting. Me calling you gorgeous and handsome was also flirting but in a more respectable way." He tried to push at the hybrid's arms to get his hands off his shoulders. "I have a thing for hybrids, specifically shifters. Bite me."

He tried to push with his hips and get his lower back off the rough bark of the tree. "If you don't like being hit on by guys then just say that instead of getting handsy and slamming them against trees. Sends the wrong kind of message ya know."

"It's not respectable; it's unwanted." Was it a common thing where he was from? Imri hadn't seen any of the yaeli acting that way and his mama didn't talk like that so why was he?

If he were entirely honest with himself Imri had no idea how to respond. His confusion had given rise to anger in the beginning, but even now it was starting to ebb and he found himself pulling back from the tree. Problem was he couldn't pull away from the other boy because his legs were still around his hips.

"What kind of message does it send?"

Zohra had to blink at Imri for a second. "Unwanted? You don't like being complimented on your appearance? I'm not screwing with you. I'm honestly saying you look good. You don't like that?" When the boy moved away from the tree it gave his back a break from the bark and he seemed to relax a bit.

He tried to roll his shoulders a bit, flexing his back some to ease a bit of the discomfort, though it would be awkward with how he was being held and was latched onto his would be attacker. Zohra looked at the boy and had to think before he spoke again. This boy was far more innocent than he thought.

"Right, uhm.. that was me being a smart mouth. But uh.. if you had actually been getting handsy then it shows that you are interested in someone." Zohra had only insinuated that Imri was to tease him a little.

"I don't get complimented on my appearance so if you are honestly saying it then I don't know what's wrong with you." He said in a blend of mental exhaustion and point blank frankness. Imri opened his mouth to speak once more, thought on it, closed his mouth, pursed his lips and tried again. "This is not...I don't wish to continue this. So, I'm going to let you go and I want you to let me go." Even if his grip was no longer crushing on the other's shoulders it was still there, mostly to keep them both balanced at this point.

"Ah, well..." Now that he'd been caught in whatever this was Imri could feel his skin warming. Except this time it wasn't because of exertion or anger; rather, this time it was pure embarrassment. "...Sorry, for that, I didn't mean to push this further. It's not because you're you I'm just...not interested in anyone."

No one complimented him? Zohra stared at him again, though this time a bit more confused. "Why wouldn't you get complimented? And there's nothing wrong with me. Well.. except now I'm going to have bruises and claw marks." He turned his head as if he was trying to look behind him at his own back.

When the boy told him he didn't want to continue with whatever it was they were doing he just looked back at him and nodded his head. It would be nice to be back on the ground. However, Zohra had a bit of a problem with the order in which they were letting go of one another. "Wait.. I'll let go first and then you can put me back on the ground. You're a fair bit taller than me, big guy." He offered a slight pat to one of his arms. After that he moved his legs to let go of Imri's waist, but that left them dangling a bit awkwardly.

"Oh yeah, no, its definitely because I'm me." Zohra laughed a little at that. "I get it though. I'm not up to your standards. It's fine. Was worth the shot though." He was still chuckling and giving a bit of a smile.
