Oh the powers that be which let him pull his own weight, the same powers that let him pull Cela through subspace with a *yank* -
"Ah, little birdie told me," hints and inclinations, and who did he have to thank? All the ways he hadn't seen his subordinate proper, well, that wasn't properly leading, now was it!? Hardly. In his case. Might've been neglectful even, all the ways he hadn't tied a lead to the trailing ends of Celas coat tails and dragged him into line-- "that I needed to be seeing you, Celadonite."
N'so now? Now he was. Sat back, reclined, not in the office - No - but in their half finished home south of the citadel. The way it listed in shadows, butted up against the outskirts of desolation and fine design. The ways Albite could see what was as easily as he could see what could be, helped some, having a vivid imagination for the space that was mostly still 'in progress' and 'under construction.
"So come tell me how you've been, pretty boy...little fashionista...how long's it been since I last saw you?" and the air didn't talk back to his warm drawl, silence didn't acknowledge the way he lazed against piled niceties and soft things thrown into a pit, but Cela would--- the second the shadows finished entwining and produced what was His.
No. What Faustite had given him. Who was probably far more 'Faustites' own than his, from go, but ******** if he was too tired n sore in ways that hurt even his brain to dig into the intricacies of that interesting as ******** web.

If there was one thing Celadonite didn’t enjoy, it was being ripped from a nap, curled under his heated blanket for a summons to someone who wasn’t Faustite.
Of course, the fact that Faustite wouldn’t have summoned him without reason, and that even if he had it would have been warm and fiery and delightful, he was summoned away from heat and into the presence of.
“Ah. The Himbo. I had quite figured you had forgotten about me, or that since I was a Captain now I fell under Faustite’s direct orders, which. I would rather.” Though, the fact that he was being summoned by Albite clearly meant that he must have gotten a promotion, so he was still above Celadonite in rank.
Damnit.
Still though. Half youma clearly had to trump Negaverse senshi, didn’t they? And as Celadonite rolled his sleeves up to show off his newly acquired scales..just to show off, he scoffed. “I’ve been doing well, thanks. Had some work done, clearly.

“We all fall under Faustite’s direct orders Cela, even me, even now, but you? You’ll always fall under me,” flash of something between hurt and bitter admiration, because it was wrong — terribly so — if he’d made Cela feel forgotten in any way? Cast aside. No, that couldn’t ******** dwell. Course? It was also all sorts of right for the boy to be gunning for the stars above him. He’d wanted rank n file from the beginning, hadn’t he? Wanted fire and…“Unless you’re aiming to fall over me, it’s sure as ******** an option, the way you’re going.”
“Which is ‘Up’. Clearly, or as up as being one with the Rift can take you,” the little bit of sting at being spoken to so, at maybe having failed? Was smothered at the sight of scales. Lovely little glistening lines, brighter than an oil spill, even more colorful; it was fitting on Celadonite. So Albite cooed, beckoned Cela closer with a better smile and flick of the wrist — “it’s nice — I wanna know who helped — how?”
His magic roiled for the sight, all that youma, halved and humming with life, pretty as could be, mocking him — and after everything. Albite sat up more, straighter, admired the man beige him with a new manner of intensity because his questions for the lovely surprise had only grown.
“No, wait, I wanna know when you decided to start on this? All your bitching for how I went on about the Rift at the start, and you picked ‘designated denizen’, bought a ******** zip code there, and all without telling me!! Rude. Cela, that’s rude. Especially given how much I love the place. You shoulda told me.”

“I didn’t go to the Rift, I went to General Amazonite’s office and ate a crap ton of starseeds while she monitored me. I still don’t really like the Rift, and haven’t been back there since our last fieldtrip, but…”
Celadonite allowed himself to look smug for a long moment, flipping a strand of hair back over his shoulder. “I will survive there a lot longer than you will now though, that’s for sure.”
He grinned and then rolled his eyes. “I didn’t tell anyone but General Amazonite. I wanted to do it for Faustite so he didn’t have to be alone all the time. The best part is, is he doesn’t burn me now, and actually, his heat feels great, so.” The Captain shrugged. “Anyway. What’s it to you, no offense but, just because I was put under you doesn’t mean you did much with me. Other than those damn rabbits. ******** those guys.”
If they came back again this year…well. Celadonite would simply have to stay inside all winter, that was all…and that sounded just fine to him.

“You'd be tolerated there a hell of a lot longer than I'd be Cela, whether or not you'd survive it? Can't say till you've been. Can say cause I have." and he had a right to be prideful for this one small thing, every brief little step over the line and into that place that supposedly wasn't a Senshi's to be? All the ways he'd make it his. Like treating against poison by ingesting a little bit of something deadly every day. There was no place he wouldn't exist. No place Senshi would be disallowed. The furthest stars, the deepest pits. Albite felt like it was his right to have access to it all, sure as hell wasn't keen on taking 'no entry' signs for answers; really just wasn't his thing.
The mention of the rabbits stole a laugh, a small burst of glee, enough mirth to get him standing so he could circle Cela and better map out each individual change in his subordinates appearance; the way the scales flared like freckles in places, the way it went aura deep and now Cela felt so different as a captain to stand next to, it was so exciting! <******** those rabbits, n also a second point? My Fiancé, is a big ol 'whatsit to me', but so is your growth, so is this," and there was no malice there, no jealousy, only a small tide of joy that built as Albite reached for those flung snatches of long indigo like silk; admiring -- Celadonite wasn't his doing but he was wonderful all on his own! N to know him n Faustite would get to spend time together? That his beloved would have even more parts of his existence spent loved and unalone, "m'hglad for you two, Cela. I'm ******** proud of you for managing this all on your own. I can be happy for you, can't I?"
Tremulous little thread of hope and Albite about faced to stand so he could better have Celadonites eyes as he spoke up fresh new offers that hung on the most tenuous of extended friendships; the Senshi knew his own personal failings, and now? He aimed to make amends.
"Never woulda taken you for the selfless type, but here I am proved wrong, while you're right on the money about a lotta things, yeah? I should've done more with you. Can start working on that right now."

“I’m never simply tolerated, Albite. I’ll be worshiped the next time I go in there.” Celadonite grinned and moved a bit closer to Albite, reaching up and tugging on one of his dreadlocks in an almost playful manor. “I’m selfless when I have to be, or when it’s worthwhile to be, and for Faustite, anything’s worthwhile. Someone’s got to be able to hold your fiance at night when you’re sleeping or doing real people things, so. I stepped up.”
He leaned closer, leaning up a on his tiptoes just slightly to really reach the Corrupt Senshi’s ear. “If you want to do more with me, that’s fine. How about I take the time and show you all of the fun new upgrades that I’ve been given? If you think you can handle it, that is.”
His tongue flicked out, darting across the shell of Albite’s ear, and the invitation was plain.
If the Himbo wanted to start over or…go further.
…He was welcome.
