North in the land of the new generation of Shinobi lies one of the five great villages; Kumogakure. The position of the village matches the very definition of Kumogakure, meaning “Village Hidden Among Clouds”. Four enormous mountain ranges protect and mask many of the villages in Kumogakure from the outside world. It is here in Kumogakure that the majority of the shinobi specializes in lightning techniques and swordplay. With lightning being one of, if not the fastest element in terms of speed, Kumogakure is home to very fast and deadly jutsu practitioners who put their heart and soul into their training. In addition, with their knowledge of swordplay they are able to unleash nasty kenjutsu techniques that can easily rival any swordmaster outside of Kumogakure. Anyone who wishes to become one with their sword would be making a mistake by not bringing their skills here. And unlike other clans, Kumogakure has a group designed for those who have lost their eyesight at a young age. With training here, one of their greatest strengths is a weakness to many in their position. Lastly is the ryuugan eye that the clan members possess, which while at first only provide information to the user, can provide many benefits on a cosmic scale at the higher levels. The Ryuugan Eyes are a secret technique handed down by the older members of the village to their children when they are born. A special scroll being given to the parents, for use by the child when they come of age and possess the ability to use the village's specialty eye jutsu.
As one of the five great villages they originally possessed a female Raikage though their hard times and invasions. But unfortunate events have occurred and now the title belongs to Asuka Sinobi, a young but determined shinobi who serves his village meticulously.
Dattoumaru Clan: From the Hidden Village of Cloud, this clan of taijutsu users is reputed for their advanced bloodline, which gives them lightning speed and many other combat advantages. They are respected and well known in the Thunder Country as expert in Missing-Nin assassination.
Sinobi Clan: Well known for being one of the head clans in the village, long ago Gashir Sinobi traveled to Konoha to make peaceful relations between Konoha and Kumo who were at the time, in a war. While there, he attempted to kidnap Hyuuga Hinata, but failed. Since then, the clan has worked hard to redeem themselves through training to become great cloud shinobi.
Miyanari Clan: This is the clan the Raikage is from, as well a one of the richest and most respected in all the country. They specialize in swordplay, and techniques for use with a sword.
Dodai Clan: Dodai possesses the Lava Release kekkei genkai, allowing them to combine both fire and earth natured chakra, which he can use to create a resistant, rubber-like substance as seen with his technique, the Lava Release: Rubber Wall, or create large rubber balls, which can serve multiple purposes. He has also shown that he can manipulate the lava to form a rope out of this rubber that can be used to grab things with. Unlike the other known users of the Lava Release, Dodai is not only shown to emit the substance from his mouth, but is also able to create it externally.
Enkou Clan: Those of the Enkou Clan posses abilities and jutsu that revolve around heat, fire, and the sun. They can be identified by their eyes. Their eyes are constantly red and it said that the redder their eyes are, the stronger they are. They are weakened when the sun goes away, mostly night time. As a Enkou grows older, they gradually become blind due to the constant use of fire and heat straining their eyes. Once they become blind, they can identify objects by the heat they give off. Also, a Enkou is fueled by the sun, and their energy is given from the sun. So when using a bloodline jutsu, it requires no chakra from them since their ability to mold and use fire and heat are natural. This is the only clan in Hidden Cloud that does not reap the benefits of the Ryuugan Eye.

The user is also able to locate "weak" spots where the opponent is vulnerable to attack. User is granted immunity to almost all Genjutsu Techniques.
Ryuugan Eye Level 3 - Gain at 100,000 Chakra ( Determine Chakra/All Stats/HP | Perception +30 | Resolve + 20 | Once per post, increase one attack's Damage by ½ Perception | Costs 4000 chakra per post to maintain projection / can project to other threads / Genjutsu prevention is lost when projecting. ) The user is now able to completely master the Ryuugan Eye. At this level the user is able to synchronize their soul with the world around them. The user is granted a type of prescience that allowed them to see anywhere past, present, or possibly even future. They are even able to perform "Astro Projection", to send their image anywhere they want within time and space.

This only causes the limbs to take on the Hiraishin effect, not the entire body.

Using only 1 action for both attacks. ) By manipulating lightning chakra into the dominant hand, the user can make the lightning expand to can create the form of a hound. The hound-shape remains connected to the user's hand with a bolt of lightning, allowing them to control it during its attack. Being a Lightning Release ninjutsu, it requires a large amount of chakra from the user to maintain and thus is a risk to use with a low chakra supply.

[ N ] Lightning Destruction - 3900 Chakra ( Spirit +35 Damage, Speed + ½ Perception ) A Short to mid-range technique that uses the Ox, Rabbit, Ram, Dog, and Monkey handsigns. The user places his hands to the ground after converting their chakra to lightning. The user then sends an enormous bolt of lightning that cuts through the ground towards the target. The shape of the bolt is a triangular figure with the base in front of the user and the tip headed towards the opponent. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates with enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.
[ N ] Lightning Release: Thunder Binding - 2400 Chakra ( Spirit + Perception vs Opponent's Speed to Bind | Spirit +20 Lightning Damage ) A technique lets the user create a three sided wall of electricity to bind their opponent. The user must have three conductors to stick in the ground to create the points. Furthermore, once the enemy is inside, if they come into contact with the wall they will be electrocuted. The only way the jutsu can be broken is if an outside party were to strike one of the wall with a strong enough attack, which will then deactivate the other walls.

With this jutsu, those that look upon the clan member will immediately become blinded. Every time they try to open their eyes, their eyes are immediately damaged by the intense light shining from the weapon.

Then, the chakra eventually works up to the fingers, where a blade of electricity is formed between the index and middle finger, but as soon as it is let go, the blade vanishes into thin air. The strength of this blade isn't as strong as a normal blade, as it is nowhere as dense or as heavy. But because the blade is very thin, it is capable of doing major damage, if used properly. However, this blade can also hurt the user, anywhere except for the fingers where the blade is held.

[ N ] Houchiku • Kaon Zouka - 2700 Chakra ( Spirit +15 Fire Damage | Applies Burn to anyone within 20ft, for 30 HP per post within range | Paid by post ) Another jutsu formed from the Enkou's Houchiku. By already expelling heat from their body, they can increase the temperature of the direct perimeter to a very high temperature.
[ N ] Houchiku • Hensa - 2000 Chakra ( Perception +20 vs Opponent's incoming Projectile Attack Speed ) By pushing heat from their body at a initial burst, a wave fires from the Enkou's body, enabling them to deflect projectiles. Depending on the Enkou's skill, determines what can be deflected by this wave.
[ N ] Kouen Fukumen - 1000 Chakra ( Speed +10 ) Similar to the Body Flicker jutsu. A Enkou surrounds their body in a veil of flames and vanishes within the flames before the fire fades.
[ N ] Katon • Tei Shuushuku - 4600 Chakra ( Spirit+10 vs Opponent's Spirit: -20 from Wind Nature Jutsu | Spirit+15 Fire Damage ) Kronan developed this technique solely for the purpose of his close friend, Kakeuma who utilizes the wind element. By uses the fire around him, Kronan can quickly suck the oxygen out of the air around him to rid any form of weak wind from approaching him. Kronan can also use this jutsu as a defensive move, by surrounding an opponent in a ball of fire. Kronan uses the flames to suck the oxygen from the inside of the ball, making it where his foe cannot breathe.

[ N ] Katon • Kaji Sawagi - 1800 Chakra ( Spirit +10 Fire Damage, Opponent's Reaction -5 ) The user either stomps the ground with his foot or lays his palm against the ground. Afterward, the user then sends streams of fire upward from the ground either around or under their opponent.
[ N ] Katon • Sight of the Sun - 2000 Chakra ( Perception +20 for sight based perception | Shikaku Kaon's effects extend to sight as well | Lasts for 5 posts, with a 10 post cooldown. ) After the Enkou become blind, They have long to have sight once more. Their eyes will glow red, They will be able to see in even the darkest areas for a short time.
[ T ] Katon • Hellfire Lotus - 5000 Chakra [ Requires all other Clan techniques ] ( Speed+5 vs Opponent's Reaction | Spirit +45 Fire Damage | Health -50: Can continue to increment 50 HP to add 25 additional Fire damage ) This has to be one of the most deadly Enkou attacks. Unless you can take the strain on you die directly after using this. Starts with a normal leaf shadow dance. As you come to the lotus part, You cover you and the enemy in flames so hot you would break the O zone layer. When you hit the ground it makes a giant explosion, Leaving a crater in the earth. The crater would be at the least 200 degree's.
Katon • Flame Trust - 1400 Chakra ( Passive: Taijutsu Techniques Add +10 Fire Damage ) It is said all Enkou has a mutual bond with fire. Letting them have a fire Aura around them. This flame aura enhances their close range fighting styles by basking them in flames.
[ N ] Katon • Long Range Destroyer - 1300 Chakra ( Spirit +10 Fire Damage ) The user of this attack can extend chakra out his arms but coming out in the form of fire. The fire arms can reach out at to 8 feet far. Though they can't physically grab anything but they can do damage.
[ N ] Katon • Brink of Hell - 6400 Chakra ( Spirit+30 Fire Damage to anyone who comes in contact | Fire Jutsu +20 | Fire Damage Applies Burn for 25 damage per post for 5 posts | After 3 posts, user begins taking 50 damage per post. | Once burn damage begins on user: Brink of Hell damage increases by +30 for all sources | When jutsu ends, user remains under Burn status for 3 posts + 1 per every 2 additional posts they had been taking damage from this technique ) The user of this technique wreaths their own body in extremely hot flames, causing anything that would come in contact to immediately be set aflame and burn for much longer than what would normally happen. The Enkou clan member can maintain their safety from this technique's effect for a limited amount of time until their own body begins to become effected, but while they receive damage, the damage they are dealing becomes even stronger.

A lightning technique of equal power can neutralize it.
[ N ] Laser Circus - 2100 Chakra [ Requires Lightning Release: Wave of Inspiration ] ( Spirit +15 Damage, Speed +5 ) Using his Storm Release to create several bright beams of electricity that shoot at his enemy. A halo of bright energy spreads from Darui's hands as he uses this technique. The beams are able to alter their direction after being shot.
[ N ] Black Lightning - 1900 Chakra [ Requires Lightning Release: Wave of Inspiration ] ( +15 Lightning Damage added to Lightning Ninjutsu | Spend 1000 chakra additional to add to a Lightning Ninjutsu | Does not cost an action. ) Black Lightning is a unique form of Lightning Release. As the name suggests, the lightning produced by this ability's techniques is black in color.
[ N ] Lightning Release: Black Panther - 1100 Chakra [ Requires Black Lightning ] ( Spirit +10 Lightning Damage ) This technique creates a substantial amount of Black Lightning which takes the form of a panther-like creature that seems to emanate from the user's own body.

[ K ] Cloud-Style Flame Beheading - 1200 Chakra ( Strength + ½ Spirit Damage ) The user first imbues their blade with fire, before slashing in the direction of the desired enemy, resulting in the creation of large arcs of intense flame that follow the trajectory of the previous swing.
[ G ] Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar - 500 Chakra ( Resolve +5 ) This genjutsu blinds the enemy with an extremely bright light that appears to emanate from the user's body.
[ K ] Cloud-Style Front Beheading - 1300 Chakra ( Opponent's Reaction -10 ) The user slashes forward to attack an enemy. Their chakra solidifying into clouds around their arm and any weapon in order to conceal the exact trajectory of the strike.

When being transferred, the object is engulfed in light and moves to its destination through a beam of light, which is reminiscent of a bolt of lightning. Yoshiro arrives in his home village of Kumogakure, the village hidden in the clouds. He breathes the mountain air and enjoys the fresh briskness, it having been a long time since he last experienced it. He makes his way to his family’s home, where he enjoys a cup of tea among family while they all caught up. His family expressed sadness that he would not be staying around for long, but were very happy he had visited. After a fine lunch with family, Yoshiro heads out to practice.
The first sword art technique he practices is that of Iaido, the lightning fast draw attack that often caught enemies off guard. A simple technique, it allowed those with extremely fast reflexes to deal a great amount of damage. And speed was the most important trait to a duelist. After practicing the technique until he could execute it smoothly, he moves on to the next technique he wanted to master.
The next sword art technique was a simple technique of the thrust, a great follow up to the draw slash of the Iaido technique. This technique quickly and easily bypassed armor, making it great against heavily defended foes. It would also make a great follow up to an opening draw strike, as the one two of the slash and thrust would catch foes off guard as well as inflict plenty of damage.
The next technique wasn’t a sword art, but was still incredibly useful. It allowed him to create a sword out of lightning chakra, meaning he would always be armed if needed, regardless of circumstances. It also allowed him to strike simply and quickly with an elemental form of damage, possibly bypassing any kind of Kenjutsu defenses one might have in place.
The final technique also wasn’t a sword art, but that of a genjutsu named Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar that could be used to blind an enemy. It was the start on the road of many many Genjutsu he wanted to learn. He was very interested in techniques that allowed him to gain advantage over his opponents using their own minds, to control what they see and feel and employ trickery and subterfuge.
After his training, he retires for the day, spending his evening drinking tea and reading in his family’s library. Books on legendary duelists, who one day he will surpass in skill and legend.

Yoshiro got up the next morning and resumed his training. Having mastered the first sword art technique he wanted to learn, he skips to the second one he wanted to learn. He spends the early hours of the morning practicing the sword art technique of the thrust. This technique easily and quickly bypassed armor and other defenses. It also relied on speed, like the Iaido he had mastered, and combining the two could catch enemies off guard.
After that was the technique that allowed him to create a sword out of lightning chakra, giving him a weapon at all times that he could surprise someone with, as well as a quick way to attack with elemental damage if some way of defending against kenjutsu damage was encountered. After that he practiced the first of many genjutsu he was going to learn, that of the mouthful that was Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar that he could use to blind people. It would allow him to gain an advantage over his enemies, and put them at a disadvantage.
After training, he has a light lunch. After his lunch, he plans his journey around the villages. Feudal Spira, Feudal Arda, and Feudal Tokyo would give him an assortment of elemental, ranged, and kenjutsu style attacks that would be very useful. Hidden Leaf Village would give him genjutsu, ninjutsu, and taijutsu. Hidden Snow Village would give him useful ice chakra nature ninjutsu. Hidden Mist Village would give him a few ninjutsu based around water and lightning that he could use, while Hidden Wind Village would give him kenjutsu and ninjutsu that would be very useful and increase his options in combat. Hidden Volcano Village would give him a couple of poison based ninjutsu for a nasty surprise, while Hidden Steel Village gave him a surprise in ranged attacks. Hidden Kitsuna and Hidden Mask both held interesting techniques of surprises, between tricks and equipment. Hidden Void Village would give him several shadow based jutsu of interest. Finally, Hidden Whirlpool would give him a great many genjutsu he could use. After spending an evening of planning, he relaxes with a nice book and after a while goes to bed.

Yoshiro gets up the next morning and starts the day off with a large breakfast and some light reading, looking over the techniques of villages again and making sure he had the ones he wanted to visit picked out. After that, he heads back out to the practice area. He felt he had mastered two techniques he wanted to learn, Sword Art Technique: Iaido and Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar. So he spends a long time working on the second Sword Art Technique, that of the Thrust. This technique would allow him to bypass armor with a lightning fast attack. It also combined nicely with Iaido, a swift thrust after a swift slash. He spent a few hours training the Sword Art Technique over and over again.
After that he has a light lunch, followed by more training. The final thing he trained for the day was chakra control and production for the technique Yaiba no Jutsu, which allowed him to make a sword out of lightning. This would be a useful technique for bypassing certain kinds of defenses, as well as ensuring he always had a weapon. After training that for a couple of hours, he had a light dinner, laid down with a good book, and read until he eventually went to bed.

Enkou Mikoto arrived in Kumogakure, the Village Hidden in the Clouds. Home. He travels faster once in the village, having known its layout from when he used to have sight. He doesn’t miss his sight that much though, as with the natural talents of his clan, he could still sense his surroundings well enough to navigate, know where people are, and everything else one used sight for. But he has to admit, understanding the world by heat release was fascinating to him, and made up for the loss of other details that he could no longer sense. Once he makes it to his family’s home, he walks inside and gives them the news. They are very happy for him, and said they couldn’t wait for him to finish up his training and venture out into the world. They also said they were excited and believed he could do anything, maybe even becoming Kage or a Sannin. He didn’t tell them he wasn’t interested in either of those, but instead smiled and said that only time would tell. After catching up with them, he went to the training room and started training in some techniques of the Enkou clan.
The first technique, called Houchiku, let him convert his chakra into heat and expel it from his body, harming his opponent just by being close to them. It was a useful technique, one that formed the basis of several more advanced techniques. He spends a few hours converting and pushing his chakra around, until he felt he had developed enough proficiency in it. Then, he moves on to a technique that allowed him to create a fiery aura around himself, allowing him to burn foes with his taijutsu attacks, coating his hands and feet in flames as he struck. This technique, known as Katon – Flame Trust, was one he had always wanted to master, ever since seeing his father use it while training. These two techniques are what he spends the most time on. Eventually, he tires and he retires to his room, once again sleeping in his own bed.

Mikoto spends the next morning training in the two techniques, Houchiki and Katon – Flame Trust. He continued to work on his control and manipulation of fire nature chakra, gaining better control of it. After a couple of hours, he stands near paper lanterns and works on Houchiki. He would focus on the chakra in his body, and then works to convert it into heat, that was then expelled from his body in large amounts. It starts with the lanterns crinkling from heat, then discoloring slightly, to finally actually combusting from his just standing there. He smiles as he sees the heat from the lantern flaring up and catching fire, a flash in his senses of the presence of heat. Next here works on his bond with the element of fire itself. He works on his ability to communicate with it, and coax it into doing what he needed. This time, what he needed was for it to enhance his close range fighting by covering his hands and feet in fire, without harming him, while still harming his opponents. A lot of this training was quietly conversing with fire, developing a powerful bond where it would listen to him and help him. After he felt he had developed the needed bond, he stands up from the lotus sitting position he had been in, and proceeding to go through some basic taijutsu moves, and after a few passes through the routine, felt the fire begin to cover his limbs. He sped up the routines, faster and faster, and eventually he makes several passes through the routines, his hands and feet covered in fire. He grins, happy to have finally harnessed the technique.
He then heads inside, and sits with his family to plan where he would go next. Hidden Moon, in the Land of Wind, had several techniques that would help him, including the powerful Second Sight, that would greatly enhance his senses, and had no downside since he was already blind. Hidden Volcano, in the Hidden Federation, had several fire techniques that he could use, and Hidden Arts, in the Land of Fire, had many, many taijutsu he would like to learn. As did Hidden Leaf, which was also in the Land of Fire, as its capital in fact. Talking it through with his parents, a sensible path to follow would be Hidden Moon, followed by Hidden Leaf to learn Taijutsu techniques. After Hidden Leaf should be Hidden Arts, to learn more Taijutsu, as Hidden Arts preferred to train those already skilled in Taijutsu, and that you were treated more favorably that way. Finally would be Hidden Volcano, to learn several fire nature Ninjutsu to use with his Taijutsu. Having made the plan, he spends a final night with his family, then left in the morning after many heart felt goodbyes.

Yoshiro gets up the next morning and trains. He spends the time working on Sword Art Technique: Thrust, a sword skill that would allow him to bypass armor using his speed. It would combine nicely with Iaido, a swift thrust following a swift slash. He spent a couple of hours training the technique over and over again. After that, he trained for another technique, Yaiba no Jutsu, which allowed him to make a sword out of lightning. For this technique he trained chakra control and external chakra production, producing chakra, changing it into lightning, and having the lightning hold its form. It was useful for bypassing certain defenses as well as making sure he always had a weapon. As he gets ready to head back to his home for a light lunch, he hears the sound of crashing and people screaming. He rushes towards it to find people being attacked by … an army of gingerbread men? Yoshiro stares at the scene before him in surprise and confusion. It didn’t make any sense. But his reflexes kick in and he charges into the fight as he draws his katana. As the katana clears the sheath, a flash of light bursts forth, nearly blinding the gingerbread folk. He then slashes at the closest gingerbread, cutting it in half with a single flashing strike. He then leaps back as a couple of them tried to stab him with candy canes, then dashes back forwards with another slash, cutting yet another gingerbread man in half.
Yoshiro continues dashing along, sword held at his side, dodging the return strikes of the various gingerbread folk. He struck out with his sword, slashing the gingerbread man leaping at him into four pieces, each piece falling slowly. He leaps onto an overhand above a shop’s door, then from there onto the roof of the shop. He strikes a gingerbread man that is up there when he lands, it falling in three pieces. He watches the carnage of the attacking gingerbread men. However, this area is the home of many Miyanari, and a Miyanari that wasn’t a weapon master was not a Miyanari at all. So the gingerbread men were being easily repelled. He leaped down among them, dodged their attacks, and struck another in two with his sword, the red tassel dangling from the scorpion shaped hilt whipping wildly with each swing of his blade.
Mikoto returns home to find it spared the destruction and death of the gingerbread. He was happy to find his family okay and unarmed, and the building of the village in one piece. He sat and spent a few days with his family. During those days, he continued training the techniques of his clan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, but knew it wouldn’t be long before he had to head back out again and resume training. Just after the gingerbread, he had to make sure they were okay. After a week, he headed back out, heading to Hidden Leaf to train.

Yoshiro stops fighting. The gingerbread men are all dead. He looks around the village. Several people had been killed by the things, but most had managed to fight them off. There appeared to be little damage to structures. He made his way out of the bodies around him, and headed off. He felt he had trained enough at home, the next step was to train out in the wider world. And to investigate this mysterious organization he had just heard of, Altruism Medical. Where you could use science to improve yourself, make yourself greater than before. An excellent proposal for someone who would become the world’s greatest duelist.

XXX Making his way back into his home village after graduating from the academy, he quietly curses under his breath as he tries to hurry towards the one site that he knows he wouldn't be bothered while he allows these feelings out. Upon entering the gravesite, he walks towards the familiar graves as tears line his eyes. "Mom. Dad. Guys. Lili. I'm back. Sorry I took so long. Those academy teachers were no joke." He said with a rueful laugh as he lays flowers on each grave before sitting in front of the grave of his best friend. He stares at her name and death date, tears slowly misting up his yellow eyes as he puts his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hands. His best friend. His first love. He was supposed to confess to her five years ago. Why didn't he do it before she left? At least then she would have died knowing just how much he loved her and he wouldn't be left wondering if she ever loved him back. He would have his answer one way or the other. He wouldn't have even been mad if she had rejected him. He would have understood. But he had been a coward, and had hoped that she would come back to him like she was supposed to. But now, all she was was a distant memory and feelings that were left unknown and unsaid. He couldn't help but whimper a little as the memories start to assault him even in the waking world. He just could never get a moments peace. Those dumb memories just love to drive him absolutely insane. So he let it out. A small cry left his lips as he suddenly covered his head and started silently wailing at the unfairness of it all. If only he had been more powerful. If only it had been him chosen to go on that mission. Then everyone he loved would be alive and he wouldn't have these nightmares that torment him every single time he closes his eyes. He was just so weak. A failure. He suddenly punched his fists into the ground several times. "Dammit Lili! Why didn't you come back!? You Promised! Why did you die!? s**t I was going to tell you I loved you!" He cried out at the gravestone, hoping that wherever she was she would hear him. He needed her to hear him. He needed her to know. Wherever she was. He couldn't keep this to himself anymore. He needed her to hear and know that she was loved. Not just by her parents. He had lost everything and honestly felt like he had nothing else to lose anymore. All he could do was protect the people most precious to his precious Linara.

The air around the cemetery was still, with not a single bit of nature moving, as if they were paying respects to the final rests of the various individuals that lie dead six feet below the ground. Silence and stillness gave the illusion of time having stopped here. If it were not for the clouds rolling above, Lily would believe that to be the case. She, much like the nature around her, stood still and in silence as she looked towards a singular headstone. 'Linara Stroud' was the name engraved on it, with a death date of some time five years ago. There was no body beneath it, as it was her. However, the lone woman couldn't recall any time in which she used that name.
A soft gust of wind would bring life to the cemetery as footsteps approached, the nature around her coming to life as someone with a heartbeat neared. Lily didn't dare look towards him, as she didn't want to draw attention to herself. This is where she used to live, but would anyone recognize her? How much different did she even look now? Did she even look different to begin with? The vampire would push the thoughts away as she heard the voice speak. It sounded so familiar, yet she couldn't even begin to hope to place the voice with anyone she knew or remembered. But his hair, it was as white as hers. Were they related?
If Lily's heart had a beat, it would skip one as she heard her name spoken aloud. Flowers had been placed on two other graves before the man sat at her grave, the one that she knew belonged to her, but didn't feel like it. It was clear that him sitting here was bringing up a chain of bad memories, painful ones at that. Should she speak up? Tell him she's here? Then again, why would she do that? It was hard to say you were someone when you couldn't even remember the first thing about that person. For the first time since arriving, Lily would shake her head to remove the thoughts from her mind. No, it's best not to give any false hope. There was a good chance that she'd never remember who she was before. Not until she could rid herself of her burdens.
However, she could not help but to overhear the man confessing his love for her...or rather, who she used to be. It froze her in place, causing her to be unable to leave the cemetery before someone noticed her. That was her, after all. Who she used to be. How much of her still existed, even if she couldn't remember who she was anymore. One thing was for certain, it meant that they weren't related after all. Something in her caused Lily to speak, however. Something long forgotten, perhaps?"She knows."

XXX He was about done wailing out his sorrows and woes when suddenly every instinct in him went on high alert and a voice caused him to jump up and draw his sword, looking towards where the voice came from. However, he instantly paused as he took in the female he had never noticed was there. White hair, Yellow eyes, Obviously more mature by five years, but that face. That voice. The way those eyes held his. There was no doubt in his mind. This was Linara. His Linara. The one they had all assumed was dead. Suddenly the sword clattered to the ground as his arms fell limply at his side and his form trembled. Slowly, hesitantly, shakily, he takes slow steps towards her, like if he made one wrong move, she would disappear. With a shaky hand, he reached up and gently put it on her cheek as his eyes moved over every inch of her face. "L-Li-Lili? Am I dreaming? Is this another dream and soon you will turn into a nightmare? Lili. I swear. I regret it. I should've become a shinobi before you. Then you wouldn't have been sent off. Please. Please stop blaming me. I'm so sorry. Please. Don't be a dream." He said before he suddenly wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. A deranged laugh started leaving his lips as he took in her scent, which was familiar yet different. Maybe this wasn't a dream. Maybe. Just maybe this was real and she had come back to him like she promised. "It's real. You're real right? God please don't let me be dreaming and hallucinating. Lili. That's what I was going to tell you. I love you. I started loving you not long before you left me five years ago. Well, I guess you kept your promise. Just a little late huh? It's okay. You don't have to answer right now Lili. I'm just happy to have you back. You have no idea how much I've missed you. My Lili. My sweet Lili." He rambled as he held her tight like she was about to disappear from his arms again. A small part of him broke like it did every time he thought he thought she had come back. If it was just another nice dream, it would soon turn into a nightmare again and if this was a hallucination, then he very well would break finally. He was on his last thread. Between the nightmares keeping him up and then the hallucinations from him not sleeping his mind was basically broken. But this time, this time he was going to keep the hallucination as nice and present for as long as he could. Maybe if he drank more. But he didn't want to let go of her and reach for his flask or she might disappear. Instead his legs started to give out on him as he just held onto her tight, and if she wasn't able to support both of them than they would slowly slide to their knees as fresh tears coated her shoulder and the side of her neck where all of his grief, pain, desperation, and hope collided and all he could do was cling on and pray that she was actually here. His Lili. His lifeline. The only thing that has helped him. Without her, he has fallen apart at the seams and only threads held him together. With only his bare hope that she was still alive has those threads held together. If she was actually back, than maybe, just maybe, he could actually start to stitch himself back together.
