Personality: A strong-willed, no-nonsense kind of girl, Zuri's confidence borders on arrogance. Much of her attitude stems from her pride of being an Alkidike and, though she's not met anyone outside of her species, she finds it hard to think that others could be more capable than them. This judgement can easily land her in hot water, since Zuri isn't afraid of letting her opinions be known. She's certainly no shy wallflower--indeed, her personality may be off-putting to those of a more mild or sensitive disposition. Though she can be fierce, Zuri is not a cruel person. While her judgement might hurt feelings, she isn't the sort to mock or belittle someone, nor are her judgements permanently set in stone. If someone were to prove themselves, she would be forced to reevaluate her initial opinions... though it might be hard to convince her that she's wrong in thinking that Alkidike's are the best of the best. She will step up to bat for her friends and loved ones without hesitation, even if the odds seem stacked against her.
Suri's initial interactions with both Earthlings and Hybrids will undoubtedly be negative. She's known nothing but her own kind for all of her life, and naturally she believes in their superiority. While she won't be mean to those outside of her race, her niceness will absolutely border on condescending, and any suggestions they make that differ from her own thoughts will be initially brushed off. I imagine she's going to butt heads with them and cause problems, but as she begins to actually interact and know them, she will be forced to reevaluate her opinions and perhaps her overall thoughts on 'others' as a whole.
Perhaps to no one's surprise, Zuri feels very strongly about things. She loves deeply and is capable of an equal amount of intense hatred. The things she likes, she really likes, and the reverse is quite often true. Fortunately, she isn't the sort to hold grudges, so even if she starts out hating someone's guts, it doesn't necessarily mean it's forever. She's the kind of girl who assesses her options in an instant before deciding things without the slightest bit of hesitation. While this can be effective in some situations, it also means that she could very well make the wrong call if she had paused to first gather more information.
Description: Zuri has pale yellow skin and longer hair that she tends to keep up and out of her face. Though it might just be easier to cut it, she enjoys her hair. She looks similar to most Alkidikes, and is adorned with delicate markings on her outer and inner upper arms, chest, face, and antennae.
Clothing: Zuri's clothes are simple, but well tailored. She prefers her clothing to be 'pretty', but also not hinder her movements. She dresses in Her image is listed above!
Accessories: She harbors a love for jewelry and pretty things. Her adorned earrings are perhaps not the most efficient for fighting, but Zuri insists on wearing them.
