Helena didn’t get jealous easily, but when she did…it was all consuming, and when her eyes landed on the other corrupt’s massive butt bow, it attacked her. Jealousy.
Her own bow was prettier, that was for sure, but this one…this one was easily twice the size of hers and…
How she wanted to just…swap sizes with the other. His outfit was nice too, not as nice as her own, but it looked nice on him…and while the colors weren’t exactly to her own taste…they were still nce. For him.
“Hello. I wish my buttbow was as large as yours was. I’m Helena, Senshi of Wit. I like your hair.”
She looked at him and then held out a hand. “It’s always wise to meet others and expand your circles of allies. So I shall with you. Tell me about yourself?” This was good. This was a new Negaverse senshi. A new alliance. A new…everything.
Mirzam would be so proud.

Alkmene blinked, letting his eyes flick up and down over the cute girl in the witchy outfit standing in front of him. She was a fellow Corrupt; not one of Faustite's, but hey, getting to know people off the team was probably beneficial anyway.
"Thanks," he said, grinning. At least she knew how to compliment someone. "Alkmene of Envy. I love your whole...everything," he gestured at her--the witchy aesthetic was cute as hell, and her colors...yeah, Alkmene definitely would have been happy with a fuku like that.
He took her hand and shook it.
"Uh, I joined the Negaverse from Order last September, and I've worked under General Faustite since. Which is a way better gig, really." He laughed. "Like, I got the best glow-up when I corrupted, my magic's finally working properly, and I am absolutely surrounded by hot boys. Could not ask for more. What about you? Were you always one of us, or did you choose to join the right side?"

She shook her head. “Thank you! No, I was brought over, my girlfriend made a very convincing argument, and I never looked back!” This was delightful! Another corrupt who was rather new to the fold, and one who had grown within the sweet embrace of chaos.
“It’s the best thing, I think. I mean. Those who start out as one of us, that’s well and good, but the ones who choose to pledge themselves…I think we’re the best, don’t you? Shall we be friends, you and I?”
Pushing her glasses up her nose, Helena beamed. “I think that we shall.” And since she thought, so shall it be.
“We should patrol together and spend time together. You can’t spend all of your time surrounded by hot boys, and I can’t spend all of mine in the arms of my hot girlfriend, don’t you agree?”
…Even though.
Even though that would have been so much better.

Oh, Alkmene liked Helena already. She was delightful, and she clearly had the right idea about how things worked.
"It's easy to come straight here, right? but when you start on the other side, you have to hear all the s**t about how oh, the Negaverse is evil and they do terrible things and whatever--but, like. What does all that matter, really? We're where we belong, with people that want us there. And that's the best part, right?"
Talking about jumping to being friends--it seemed a little childish, but on the other hand, Alkmene wasn't sure he had many friends, really, and it would be good to make some who weren't on Faustite's team. Because that was cheating, they all had to wrok together all the time.
"So, yeah, sure, we're friends. Picked-the-winning-team buddies." He laughed, a little. "And we can have each other's backs. My magic makes it harder for other people to use theirs--what's yours do?"
That was sort of the simplified version, but getting into the nitty gritty of his magic was over the top for a quick chat with a nice girl.

“Well it depends on which one I use! My basic magic…” Helena laughed and looked amused. “It makes people think about a bunch of problems that they can’t solve and a lot of times it seems to make people angry and it’s terribly amusing. But my super attack seems to give people a boost so obviously I don’t use it on my enemies, but I haven’t done much partnering up so I haven’t gotten a chance to really use it in a fight, but…it sounds like you and I could be quite a pair! I could rile people up and confuse them and bolster you and you can mess up their magic and we could just have a grand old time!”
She laughed again and closed her eyes for a moment, savoring the idea, and then reached into subspace, drawing out a bag of chocolates and selecting one before holding the bag out to Alkmene. “Candy? It’s good for you, you know.”

Alkmene looked thoughtful. Her description of her magic definitely had him intrigued, and he expected that she was right--they could do some interesting things together, given the opportunity.
"We would make a really good team, miss Helena," he said, cheerily. The offer of candy made him perk up, and he unhesitatingly reached over to take a piece of chocolate. "And you are an absolute treat. Thanks."
Really, how lucky to run into someone on his side, who was fun, and entertaining, and who obviously knew the score. Maybe there was something to this bonding-with-his-fellow-agents business. Getting out there and networking or whatever.
Heck, if networking came with free chocolate, he'd do it all the time.
"If you don't have any other plans for the evening, why don't we stick together? Get some draining done, watch each other's backs, that whole thing." Might even make the evening interesting, if they ran into someone else, but even if not, having someone to talk to would make the night go faster, and that was always a good thing.

Helena’s eyes sparkled and she offered her arm, shoving another piece of candy into her mouth before putting the rest back into subspace. “I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my night!”
Well. She could but. She couldn’t think of a more productive way to spend her night. There, that was far more diplomatic.
And anyway, the more she could get done for the Negaverse, the happier that Mirzam would be with her.
