*A note was posted on a bulletin board in the main hall of the academy...*
Note: Genin Team 1: Assigned under Potensharu Shunketsu. Report to roof of Academy building. Your instructor is waiting...
*Shunketsu was on a viewing deck which made up the roof of the academy...a newspaper was over his head, and he was fast asleep...*

Kaida walked up the the bulletin board which contained all notices for genin's knowing it was about time for her to join an actual team. It had been quite some time since she had graduated from the academy and she had longed to be able to progress with her training. She spotted the notice that stated where her sensei would be and she hurried off quickly so as not to be late. First impressions were something of great value and she did not wish to put a bad one upon her teacher.
Quickly running to the roof she headed out to see her sensei fast asleep under a newspaper. Wondering if this were some kind of trick or if he was just lazy she proceeded with caution, silently walking from one area to another til she was standing right next to him. Moving the newspaper with one hand, her other hand was placed over the handle of a kunai. She doubted she would have to use it but it was common knowledge that teachers liked to mess with their student's heads to keep them on guard.

Walking past the sign in the corridor Edge took a few moments to read over the details. His first reaction was of surprise that he had a mission so soon after what happened after the last exam. But he knew this was as good a time as any to improve and ensure he was useful to his new team. Heading up the stairwell to the roof he found one of what he assumed was a fellow team member and his instructor.
"Hi I assume you read the message too?"

Kinoru ran up to the roof hoping he wasn't late, he got to the roof "Damn, I'm the last one here.....Is he really supposed to be out Sensei" He said as he pointed to the sleeping man.

Kaida Removed her hand from her kunai and rolled up the newspaper and smacked her sensei. "Yup this is him...." She glanced in his direction then walked over to the group and sat down on the ground crosslegged and read the newspaper.

Shunketsu: oi...big woop...so you're the brats they stuck me with eh? well...get your introductions done, and I'll begin judging whether or not I should send you back to Buki-sensei for extensive training...
*Shunketsu stood up from his bench, adjusting his headband, and looked at them...*
Shunketsu: hmm...well...I guess it's fair for me to go first...I'm Potensharu Shunketsu, I prefer Shunketsu-sensei...and from this point on, I'll prefer if none of my students smack me with my own newspaper...my past...well...I'm half blind...you can research the details yourself...my goals...well...it involves family...and my interests...BBQ...welps...your turn...
*Shunketsu glanced at the faces of his students...there was obvious talent in them...even though they do seem like they need a lot of work...*

Kaida glanced up to her sensei and then to the others. "I am Tamasine Kaida, I come from the Hidden Grass and I hope to become KusaKage there to one day help bring peace to my village, to avenge the innocents hurt in attacks that should not have been. " Kaida looked back down to the paper.

Kinoru gave a sharp whistle, then a howl could be heard in the distance. Shortly after a young wolf comes up the stairs to the roof and stands by Kinoru "Good boy Kao"

Edge thought about his introduction because it was probably little use to go in to detail now. "My name's Nara Edge I help run a book store while training and hope to one day open the best bookstore selling various books when I'm older. I also hope one day to become a writer."

*Shunketsu admired the unique ambitions of the last introduction...indeed...good writers need to have experiences beyond that of writing...*
Shunketsu: unique bunch...I wonder how well this will turn out... ok...now that we all know a bit about eachother...the game is hide and go seek...but I'll make it easy on you...I'll be hiding in the center of the forest you see a bit to the west...first to get there = guaranteed to not be sent back to Buki-sensei...have fun...
*with that, Shunketsu disappeared in a puff of smoke...*
