The Meteor Shower (3) : It wouldn’t be a star festival without a meteor shower! Right on time, a beautiful array of shooting stars graces the night sky. This time of year is unnaturally clear and it’s incredibly easy to see the stars. Most meteor fragments appear to be little white or yellow lights streaming across the sky, but if you watch closely enough you may find that some of them seem to be a whole rainbow of colors. The scientists have reported that it’s just different components burning up as they enter the atmosphere, but there’s something undeniably magical about it.
It was a truly magnificent night. Ilse sat on the edge of a roof, legs hanging over the ledge, and kicked her feet a little as she stared up at the sky. The streaks of color across it were beautiful, and she let herself sit there and watch, taking in what was before her.
Ah, she loved it. Seeing the colors streak across the sky, and knowing that it might mean something magical was afoot, but not really knowing or caring what. It seemed harmless enough, anyway, and sometimes, Ilse liked to think, things were just allowed to be pretty, and she was just allowed to enjoy them.
She could feel another aura nearby-ish,a s best she could pinpoint, but it felt friendly, so she wasn't panicking to run away. Maybe whoever it was would sit with her and enjoy the meteor shower.

Ara was out on patrol when the meteor shower began she was captivated by it beauty and she figured it was quiet enough night it would hurt to take the night off and watch the falling stars she looked for a good place to watch from and found a tall building.
It seemed as well she was not the only person with this idea as she felt another senshi's aura as she neared the building. Thankfully the aura belonged to an order senshi so with no hesitation Ara lept up the building to the rooftop.
She saw the white and blue senshi watching the streaks of meteors across the sky. "Hi I'm Ara senshi of Illuminations, mind if I watch the show with you with you?" She asked indicating to the meteors.
Ilse gave a little wave to the girl that came up next to her, flashing a smile. She seemed so young--but then, Ilse supposed, perhaps she was the outlier, having started so late. So many people she knew had been powered for so long...
Ah, well.
"I'm Ilse of the Unattainable," she said. She liked her sphere, if she was honest. Her magic was a little bit more harmful than she would like, butt he concept of being the Senshi of unattainable things, of that which was always just out of reach...wasn't that just being the Senshi of always striving for something new?
Or, well, that was how she was choosing to think about it, anyway.
"I'd be glad to have some company. Things like this are always better enjoyed with another person, I think. Someone else who sees what you do, you know? And can share the memory."

The Unattainable was a fascinating sphere concept it made Ara very curious what the magic for a sphere like that looked like. She took a seat next to the other senshi.
"I couldn't agree more." She agreed nodding to the woman. Her mention of memory got Ara thinking about her own memories and more specifically the memories she had of her past life. She thought about the future if she could remember her past life would a future her remember her own life. Maybe one day the next Sailor Ara would come here and would see this moment.
"So have you been a senshi for long?" Asked curious to learn about the senshi next to her as she watch the colorful streaks across the sky.
The question made Ilse pause. "About a year," she said, thinking back. Her powered memories were mostly stable, even the ones that felt a little screwed-around-with after her attempt at purification, and after Hessonite had done...whatever she had done.
So, about a year seemed right. Not that she necessarily needed to mention how much of that year had been spent in service to the Negaverse, and how it meant that she couldn't remember the rest of her life. That was all details, and she wasn't sure how Ara would react anyway.
"I haven't really done all that much interesting in that year, though." Just purified, helped her...whatever Lysithea was to her escape, and start rebuilding her homeworld, nbd. "What about you?" She asked, curiously. "Have you been at this for a while?" She sort of hoped not, Ara seemed...so young.

Ara thought for a moment trying to remember just how long she had been a senshi for exactly. "I think around 5 or 6 years now." She ultimately concluded. "But I wasn't exactly active for most of that time." She admitted, her cheeks slightly pink from the embarrassment of it. She had been derelict in her duty as a senshi for too long. This woman was only a year into her power and was her same rank, even Charybdis had surpassed her in power. Just a further reminded that she needed to dedicate herself more to her role as senshi if was ever going to earn her eternal wings.
"Have you been to space in that year. I'm always so amazed whenever I go to my homeworld. There just something so special about being there." She looked at the colorful streaks in the sky.
"I wonder if each of those have a senshi out there somewhere?" She mused.
Five or six years. Oh, no, that broke Ilse's heart. That was too long to sacrifice to all of this.
But then, she'd never asked how long Lysithea had been a Senshi. Maybe some people had just been fighting this secret war...forever, one way or another.
"Oh, yes!" Ilse perked up at the question about her planet. "I love it up there. It's very peaceful, and I've been working to make a garden grow. There are blue roses on Ilse, they're the prettiest things." She sighed, softly, and let her eyes drift upward.
"I like to think there must be, or must have been at one point," Ilse said, softly. "Which is really special, isn't it? So many stars, all of them with a guardian."
She wondered how many she might meet.

Ara smiled a garden of blue roses sounded lovely. "That sounds wonderful, my world is bright even at night the moon and stars shine brighter than on Earth. It a bit intense for some but I wouldn't trade it's light and warmth for the world." She said a bit wistfully.
"I couldn't agree more, I'd love to meet them all one day." It was comforting to think about that there were so many of them out there possibly and she knew some life still lived in the universe because of the aliens, sure they were senshi but that didn't mean there weren't others out there if one race of aliens survived to this day others could to. It was just a matter of finding them.
She looked up again at the show in the sky, this was a good night. She had met a new friend and had seen such a beautiful cosmic phenomenon. She sat there and just enjoyed the show.
