It might just be the worst part of the summer. People are passing out regularly, and the hospitals are getting too many admissions to keep up with. It’s probably just the heat and not anyone up to anything nefarious, right? Better stay hydrated and try to keep cool, and maybe avoid everyone in weird costumes, just in case.
The candy store did have other treats and that was what was really important here.
Helena was absently enjoying a very large purple and blue swirled berry flavored lollipop when she felt the presence of another corrupted senshi nearby.
She thought about it for a total of three seconds and then changed her path so that she would run into them. If it wasn’t someone she knew, that was wonderful, and if it was…well. That was also wonderful. There were several more pieces of candy stuffed into her subspace pocket and whoever it was, they would be Helena’s friend by the end of their interaction or…
Or else.
When she finally came upon the corrupted senshi, Helena looked her over, taking in the beautiful details of her outfit and the interesting style of her hair and cleared her throat before giving the lollipop another lick. “Greetings. I’m Sailor Helena. I’m the Senshi of Wit. Can I interest you in some candy?”

Azurite was absolutely dying.
It was too ******** hot. Between these god damn heatwaves and the god damn fur on her uniform... And not to mention her ******** hair... She was going to cut it.
... Someday.
Maybe.
Azurite groaned, dragging herself from her hiding spot and trying to make herself presentable.
She blinked when the presence of another senshi pulled on her senses. She hadn't realized others were nearby... She probably should have, but... she was willing to blame all this ******** heat on dulling her senses. Azurite stared at the senshi... as she offered, of all things.. candy. She just stood for a minute before eyeing the bag. "Azurite... You uh... Got any cool candies? Anything with mint?"

Helena wrinkled her nose for a minute and stared at Azurite blankly, a little bit of disgust curling her lip. “...No. Mint is…inferior. I do have another blue raspberry lollipop here if you want that. It’s blue so maybe you can trick your brain into thinking it’s cold.”
She drew the candy from the bag and held it out, swiftly pushing the others back into subspace where they hopefully wouldn’t melt.
“Who might you be? I take it you’re enjoying this weather about as much as I am. Which. Is to say…not at all?”
There was nothing good about this weather. This was the weather that movies and televisions made fun of. Causing the characters to suffer with no air conditioning, no swimming pools and all kinds of other misfortunes. But. She wasn’t going to deal with that.
“Have you tried not being outside?”

Azurite sighed. "Yeah, mint can such but... Cooling affect. It's hot." She shrugged lightly, taking the lollipop and shoving it in her mouth.
"Again... Azurite." She muttered around the lollipop. "Unless you mean of what..." In which Azurite made a face. "Thermosphere.." She waved a hand dismissively. "I normally like the heat.. but dry heats suck. Especially with all this hair." It didn't help that it was just as long powered down than it was as Azurite.
The Super shot the other senshi a glare. "Don't. Start." Azurite muttered. "It's just as hot in some of the buildings as it out here. If not hotter." Not to mention body heat... "I thought of getting a little more energy for quota. But I didn't expect it to be this hot down here.
"What are you doing here, aside from eating candy."

“Mint doesn’t belong in real candy. Unless it’s peppermint bark for the winter season, that’s the only time I’ll allow it, other than that…no. Peppermint patties and junior mints are an abomination.” Helena’s voice was firm and she nodded as she spoke to emphasize her conviction.
Taking a long, slow lick of her lollipop, she hummed. “Just meeting new friends. Meeting you, Azurite. Of…Thermosphere.” Her eyes lit up slightly, interest clear in them. “...What a fun and unique sphere. As for quota…everyone’s inside or trying to drown themselves at a public pool…but if you find someone half passed out from heat stroke, they’re easy targets. Good for quick starseeds too, I’d bet.”
She locked eyes with Azurite and bit down on her candy, shattering it between her teeth.
Was it a power move?
Perhaps.

"Okay, fair but it's not bad in like... shakes and stuff. Gum? Hard agree on peppermint patties and junior mints though" Azurite made a face at the thought.. "I just wanted something cool, can you blame me in all this heat?"
Azurite rolled her eyes. "If by 'fun and unique' you mean 'sure fire way to end up unconscious'... then sure! 'Fun and unique' it is. No, I will not show you. Do not ask me." She shot, nipping any curiosity before it could quickly sprout. "I try to stick to just energy. You don't always know who your frisking when grabbing starseeds and it's hot enough so I'd like to avoid any Generals frying me alive for trying to gank them mistakenly."
Azurite blinked as she completely shattered the lollipop. " Okay Killer. I don't wanna hear it when you stab yourself in the mouth with a candy shard"

Helena laughed, though she supposed that the other corrupt had a point. “I hadn’t thought about that. But…truthfully, if they were a General or someone involved with us, I can’t figure that they would allow themselves to get to the point that they’re just laying around as a civilian, so therefore I wouldn’t be too terribly worried about that.”
But. It was something to think about, and she would think it over.
“You’re simply jealous that my teeth are so strong. I can’t help that and as for being stabbed in the mouth by a candy shard…candy wouldn’t do that to me. Also, I would like to see your magic one day, but not while it’s so hot out. In fact, I think I’m going to end this interaction here if you don’t mind too terribly much. Stay cool, but avoid mint. Fare well, pretty nice haired senshi~”
And she teleported. A waste of energy but…
It was far too hot to linger.

"I mean hey, even a General deserves to take a break at some point." What they did on their downtime wasn't any of Azurite's business. They didn't have to explain anything to her.
She held no power. No sway.
Again Azurite rolled her eyes. Jealous? Puh-lease. What was this girl on? "Whatever you say..." The senshi snorted at the mention of her magic again. Fat chance of that happening. But she wasn't about to tell the other that. Not that she had to. Helena was gone in a blink and Azurite sighed.
It was too hot for this s**t...
