Prompt 5: The Caves To any explorers visiting the new Reservoir, they may find that just a bit away from the sandy water are a set of caves. Some of these connect back to the lake, but others rapidly plunge into darkness. It wouldn't be hard to get lost in here, but thankfully there are some very odd lights to help guide you out. If you turn off your light down some of these dark paths, you may find yourself surrounded by glowing pastel lights. A closer inspection reveals that you seem to be looking at some sort of glowing caterpillars. An internet search will reveal that Destiny City scientists have been researching the strange, unnamed creatures, but the articles are very limited. If you take them out of the cave they seem to shrivel up almost immediately. They’re neat, but clearly meant to be stay in their natural habitat.
Thankfully there was no need for a flash light in this cave as there were strange glowing caterpillars lining the wall that provided plenty of light for her to see with. She was definitely currious about the tiny luminous creatures but she had bigger fish to fry at the moment.
Eventually she neared the source of the aura when she exclaimed "Not you again!" She shrieked at the sight of the familiar corrupt.

The caves near the reservoir seemed a good place to poke around. People were often there, and there were plenty of dark places to tuck away and interesting things to poke at. Mirzam was, truth be told, sort of excited to be out there.
Plus, it was nice, and cool, and it let her be a little away from the summer heat.
She'd let herself get a little distracted poking around, and she wasn't paying attention, until the Super Senshi aura was so close it was practically on her--and she sighed, heavily.
She knew that voice.
"Ah yes. The disrespectful toddler."

Ara flushed at the insult but quickly composed herself. "And the vile crone!" She shot back. She kept on edge as she watched the other senshi ready to call on her magic.
"You're here causing trouble again, Corrupt?" She asked putting emphasis on the term corrupt as she knew the other senshi didn't like it. She didn't like running into the same corrupt again especially since this one was so annoying and condescending.
"Leave now or I'll make you leave!" She threatened.

Honestly. Mirzam had always thought she never wanted children, and the more she dealt with this particular child, the more sure she was. (She supposed, if she really had to take a guess, the girl was probably a teenager, but still. The point stood.)
"You really aren't doing anything to make me see you as less of a bratty little snot," she said, dryly. "Honestly, if you want me to respect your opinions, you ought to try not being so....infantile." She rolled her eyes.
Honestly, though. As annoying as this was, what was she supposed to do except provoke a little? This brat-child was certainly provoking her, and it seemed only right to try and respond in kind.
"Anyway, there's hardly anything nefarious for me to be doing here, but I bet if I wanted trouble, I could find it fast enough."
Or this brat would make it for her, but that was also fine. She could provide herself some entertainment that way.

"And your snide comments aren't making me think you're less of a bitter hag!" She retorted. "For me to care about whether or not you respect me I'd have to care about your opinion. I don't, I only care about whether or not you're trying to cause trouble." She smirked.
She gestured to the cave around her. "There hardly anything to do around her period. Which makes it all the more suspicious that you're here. Or do you really expect me to believe you're just sightseeing?" She asked dryly
"You bet you'll find it fast! You want to go for round two?" She challenged somewhat hoping the woman would take the bait for a second fight. She took up a fighting pose ready to call on her magic at a moment's notice.

Well, at least they were even on that front. Not an ounce of respect between the two of them. Better than trying to pretend there was anything different, anyway.
She smiled, and spread her hands wide, for a moment. "Maybe I am just sightseeing. These little worms are so interesting, after all! And this place is quite pretty. Could do without the irritating other guests, though."
Then, quick as a whip, she shifted, and moved forward, bringing her fist around to slap it into the other Senshi's gut. No need to sling her personal magic, this one was riled up enough already--she'd just go for the good old fashioned way. More entertaining, anyway.

Ara laughed at the ridiculous excuse, if she was really here for such an innoculous reason then why would she be powered, no she was definitely planning something. However while Ara was briefly distracted with this thought the first punch came.
A swift and powerful sucker punch to her guts that knocked the wind out of her and sent her reeling. As she stumbled back holding her stomach in pain. "Cheap shot." She hissed.
"Infinite Light Parade!" She decided not play around this time and immediately called on her second magic. As motes of bright light formed behind her before shooting out to hit the woman. Infinite Light Parade Six motes of light appear in the air behind Ara and fire toward her opponent(s). The blasts of light knocks an opponent back and blinds them and can at the other player's discretion leave a cut and burn where the light hits them (As a chibi the cut and the burn are minor). Uses: 3 Duration: 25 seconds Reach: 7 feet

"Of course," Mirzam laughed. Why wouldn't she take a cheap shot? It was the only option that made any sense at all, really. And it wasn't as if this kid wasn't returning in kind, using magic in a tight space like this--!
There wasn't room for Mirzam to dodge, and so she was sent flying back, left blinking and blind, and she could feel a sluggishly bleeding cut on her shoulder.
But, really, the only thing keeping her here at this point was ego, and Mirzam wasn't particularly interested in indulging her ego tot he point that she ended up actually injured. A little cut was nothing, she could clean that up. Something more serious...ehn. Much less pleasant.
"You talk about cheap shots and then you blind me." She snorted, dryly. "Not so above them yourself, hm?" One last taunt, before she left. "Another time, little hero," she said, twisting and giving a slightly mocking salute in the direction she guessed the Senshi was.
Then, she vanished.

Ara grinned as her attack made contact. She knew that it had to hurt. "Of course," She copied the woman's tone. But then the corrupt vanished.
"Hey wait get back here." Ara demanded in frustration. How could the woman just dip like that in the middle of a fight. Ara ground her teeth in frustration, the ability to teleport was so annoying.
"Fine run you coward next time you'll get yours!" She yelled to the air as if the woman could still hear her even though Ara was fairly certain she couldn't.
Ara huffed before she turned and walked out of the cave leaving only worms to continue glowing in the darkness.
