Marialite had a lot of experience, she thought, with the White Moon and the Negaverse. She got them--especially got Knights, got how inherently weak and frail and pathetic they were. Senshi were a slightly different matter, since they always had magic, but even they weren't safe from a knife or a hand in the chest.
But the Dark Mirror. The Dark Mirror were Senshi, of course, but different, and that made her curious. So when she felt an aura that was Chaos-but-not, friend-but-slightly-to-the-left, she tilted her head, briefly, and moved towards it.
She was curious, sue her!
A little thoughtful hum passed her lips as she got closer, looking for who it mgiht be attached to. There was a girl in black--ah!
She bounced off the roof she was on, onto the street, and came up next to her.
"Hi!"

Leona looked up at the sound and took a step backwards in surprise, eyes wide. “Oh. Um! Hi! I’m Sailor Leona…who might you be?”
She didn’t look like someone in the Dark Mirror Court…and didn’t…didn’t feel like it either but. She was something. And she felt somewhat similar…ish. She didn’t feel bad at any rate.
It was still stupidly hot for June, and Leona hated it fanning herself with her hand. “The weather sucks, doesn’t it? I’m ready for the Fall to get here so we can cool off a little bit.” Truthfully, she hated those that complained about the winter for the whole time it was around. She far enjoyed being cold rather than sweltering to death. Working in the candy store was so much nicer when it was cold outside. Especially around the holidays.
“Are you…on a patrol too? Do you want a friend?”

"I'm Captain Marialite, of the Negaverse," she introduced herself, casually. What a cute girl, honestly; how was it that so many of the people she ran into while they were powered up were so pretty?
She was lucky, definitely.
"God, it is so gross out," she said. "Like, this uniform isn't too bad? Some of my fellow officers are buttoned up to the neck, I can only imagine they have got to be dying, especially when even I'm hot in this." She gestured at her outfit and sighed, breezily. "Fall is much nicer, it's true. Favorite season, actually! Love me some sweater weather and pumpkin spice everything."
A breezy, easy laugh.
"Anyway, I'd love to patrol with you for a bit. The Negaverse and the Dark Mirror are supposed to kinda be buddies, right? Might as well look out for each other."

Leona nodded, giving a pleased smile. “Yeah. All right. Wait, seriously? Up to the neck? That sounds like torture to me…and honestly if that was the case I’d just do some reverse hibernation for the summer months.” At the question, she shrugged. “I’m not really sure. I’m…still kind of new at all of this, but you don’t feel like someone who should be an enemy so. I don’t think we should. But, if you’re really hot–”
She broke off and coughed softly. “Which you are, but in a different way but. If you’re temperature hot, I’m the senshi of Cryoseism so my magic does make people cold…but like…also earthquake-y? I could use it on you if you wanted some cold for a few minutes? And you could sit down so maybe the shaking parts wouldn’t be so bad?”
There was some pride in her voice from the fact that she didn’t say the name of her attack this time like a dumbass. Leona was learning, and that was fantastic.

Marialite looked thoughtful. Actually, it was probably a good idea--if they were gonna be friends, she would like to know what Leon'as magic did. Knowing your assets was really important, and if she ever had to ask Leona for backup in a fight, she'd be better off if she knew what she was asking for.
"Sure, that sounds amazing," she said, and she grinned, looking around until she spotted a nearby bench. She plopped down, crossing one leg over the other, and leaned bakc to wait.
"Hit me, then, I bet your magic's really cool. I got knives, when I made Captain." She sighed, but she didn't pull out her weapon--no need to be doing knife tricks when she might be getting rattled around, and then she'd just hurt herself. "Pretty useful, obviously, but not as versatile as magic."

Leona’s lips twitched and she had to give a little smirk. “I literally just told you that my magic is cool…Marialite, goodness gracious. That’s the whole point of my offer! Silly.”
Well, feeling comfortable enough to joke was good, and Leona drew in a breath. “Knives sound cool too. Knives mean that you can threaten people and actually mean it, something that I can’t very well do in these bloomers…which…luckily I haven’t had a need to but…”
She took a step or two away from the bench and grinned at the Captain. “Trembling Cold!”
It didn’t hurt, she hadn’t hurt Sappho at least but…hopefully it would bring some relief, and hopefully it would make this clearly talented, clearly powerful definitely hot woman appreciate her. Always a win.Noir Songbird Trembling Cold Leona says her attack and holds her hands out towards an opponent, and a blast of cold air comes from her hands. When the attack hits an opponent, they feel very cold, and the ground beneath them shakes and may crack slightly, throwing them off balance. The cold lasts for thirty seconds, and the shaking for fifteen. She can hit one opponent, at a range of ten feet. The attack can be used twice.

Marialite laughed. "Yeah, yeah, I guess you did," she said. She liked this girl! Funny, personable, pretty--all good things. Really, she did keep getting lucky with the people she ran into.
She braced for the magic, and while the shaking definitely would have had her off balance if she was standing, sitting down it was sort of just an interesting sensation. And the cold--ah, that was just relief.
She sighed, contentedly, letting it wash over her.
"Ooooh,t hat's really, really nice. Can you use it on yourself? You sohuld, it makes things way more bearable." Okay, so maybe under other circumstances this would suck or leave her shivering, but....she was so hot.
"As for being threatening...hey, now you've got a friend who does have knives to threaten people with." She smiled, slow and lazy, and a little bit vicious.

“It doesn’t work on myself or I’d be using it all the time.” Leona grinned at the final words, feeling…pleased and a little smug. “Well. I’m not one who enjoys making enemies…but it’s a good feeling to know that if something happens and I do...I’d have a beautiful goddess who would be there to cut them to ribbons if I needed it!”
She didn’t feel any fear when talking about it even. Though…she obviously could tell that the Captain was dangerous. It…she didn’t feel dangerous to Leona and…she supposed that was all that had to really matter.
“Shall we get this patrol on the road? I’d love to see what you can do, if we run into anyone, I mean. And maybe after I can buy us both something cool to celebrate!”
It was only fair.
