This land was once tormented by a root of the Spiral of Death, Sin. Born from the destruction between the Summoners of Zanarkand and the Machina of Bevelle, Sin came about and destroyed the machina cities of Bevelle and claimed many lives. Those whom have survived were taught the teachings of Yevon, the very creature that controlled Sin. Aeons where what the summoner's called their beasts of burden to fight for them. But there was one that found a way to defeat Sin itself. Taking the life of her lover, Lord Zaon, Lady Yunalesca was the first to ever defeat Sin but however payed a dear price for whom ever summoned the Final Aeon, they would be killed and that summon used to defeat Sin would become the new Sin over time. But a thousand years later, a brave gang stood up and fought against Sin, not using the Final Aeon and succeeded, ridding their world of Yu Yevon forever. The lands have become prosperous but many had stayed the same by choice while the Fiends, souls of the dead, still roams the world in hopes of bringing one of the living to the Farplane.
Summoners: These are the only ones that can summon an Aeon. They are also skilled in casting supportive and offensive magic to protect and harm those of whom they wish to save or defeat.
Al Bhed: A race of people that had once tried to find a way to defeat Sin without having to sacrifice the lives of Summoners. They are skilled in the ways of machinery and have mastered living in isolation from the prejudice of the other races upon Bikanel Island.

Summons Basic Summons can be learned by any summoner, named summons can only be learned if the summoner has the required Element. Basic Summons serve a supportive role, while named summons are combative. Named Summons have an activatable attack that when spoken by the Summoner, it will release onto the area in front of it. The exact description of the attack itself can be decided by the summoner, but the effects will remain as written.

Daichi arrives in Feudal Spira, the village of guns and airships. Or at least that is how it seemed, with flying airships everywhere, and tons of people selling guns. He marveled over the weapons, their amazing engineering and craftsmanship, their mechanisms and workmanship. He could not wait to have one of his own. He looks about the shops, seeing if he can find what he wants. He tests various models, various types, and various manufacturers. Seeing what was offered, what went well together, what had the best quality. He slowly made his way closer and closer to what he wanted. Early on he found that he like the sniper style stock and barrel, so had set his mind to finding a suitable sniper rifle. It would greatly complement his short ranged psionic powers with the ability to deal large amounts of damage at a distance. With a long ranged gun, he needed sights that would allow him to properly aim at such a long distance. He found a frame for the gun that complemented his intelligence, and then finished it off with a quickdraw grip and a ten round magazine. After finding exactly what he wanted from his gun, he set about looking at the various manufacturers in the area and styles. He wanted something that would suit his look, that would be reliable and well worked.

Daichi eventually finds the perfect gun. Appropriate for someone of his stature and means, that complements his appearance, and clearly of the utmost quality in craftmanship. A long, white sniper rifle covered in tasteful silver filigree designs, with a couple of touches of gold. It had a short scope, but the scope was powerful, allowing him to aim the rifle at very long distances. The handle was a textured black, with the textures not only being aesthetically pleasing but also designed to give him a better grip on the weapon. The rifle had silver designs on the end, looking like wisps of some kind at the top and bottom of the frame around the barrel. He paid the merchant and then set out to learn to use the weapon. Having something like this was no good if he was not skilled in its use.
He finds a firing range type place that allowed him to have people teach him how to use the rifle, as well as practicing firing it. He takes a few hours of aiming, firing, and working on his accuracy and speed. The gun felt excellent in his hands, and the responsiveness of it was wonderful. He worked on his accuracy, it starting off as very poor as he got used to the recoil and shake of the weapon, and the influence the wind and such had on the shot. At the end of the period of training, Daichi had gotten decent at hitting a stationary target, but that was not any good. His enemies will not always stand still for him. But that was the most practice he could get in today, he would have to pick up tomorrow and do more training to get to the level he needed to be.

The door to the Tavern swung open, as a surly-looking figure stepped through, making his way straight to the bar, and shouting at the mustachio’d worker.
”Hey, moustache! Give me the strongest thing you’ve got. Two of them!” he demanded more than requested, slamming his fist down on the countertop angrily, to the sound of startled gasps from the other patrons.
This was a tavern that mostly catered to skyship sailors, so raucous behavior was not unknown here, but it was rare that someone entered with such intensity, judging from the reactions of some of the patrons. The ones who had been here in the last few weeks, though, seemed to know what was coming, hurrying to finish their drinks and leave before things got worse. The now-sweating barkeep seemed to be familiar with the face that was glaring at him, teeth bared with violent intent, as if searching for a reason to hurt him.
Sanjiro was drunk and angry, as he had been for the better part of the last few weeks since leaving the exams. When he wasn’t here drinking and sulking drunkenly, he was somewhere else causing trouble. He could not count the number of shots he had fired in the short time he had been back home, nor did he know how many of them had hit their mark. He hadn’t been keeping count, and he had been piss drunk for most of it.
The entire time, his rage against the exam proctors was growing. How dare they disqualify him! They wanted those stupid answers and he made sure he gave them to him. So what if he had to use violence to get them! The entire point of being a badass shinobi was to use violence to get what you want!
The entire experience had soured his opinion of the entire shinobi order. He didn’t need to know about tailed beasts or magic eyes to get the job done. Sevan had seen that in him at the academy. He wasn’t a thinker, he was a DOer. A killer. He didn’t get paid to know things, he got paid to shoot things. The fact that they had DQ’d him before they even let him shoot anyone was more their loss than his.
The thoughts he had in these few weeks cycled like this endlessly, going from despair to rage to optimism in an endless procession broken up by spurts of violence.
He took the two whiskeys and drank them one after the other, before sliding the cups back for two more.
Daichi entered the tavern to get a drink the next day, taking a break from his training. Not the kind of establishment that he would normally patronize, he noted as he sidestepped some kind of puddle he did not recognize, but it was close by where he had been training in his new firearm, and so he chose it out of convenience. He had made quite the amount of progress on mastering this new, fine weapon of his. He sits at the bar and takes a whiskey to drink, drinking it slowly while observing the common folk of this establishment. They were a rough and tumble lot, the kind of rabble that he would never deign to be around unless he could not help it. He watched these lesser folk, these dumb loud brutes, carry on with their raucous behavior. While sitting there sipping his whiskey, a new person burst into the room. Shouting at the top of his lungs, this man covered in tattoos practically lunged at the barkeep trying to get a drink. He seemed pissed about something, and was the sort of dumb drunk brute to make it everyone else’s problem. Which irritated Daichi.
“Could you quiet down, you oafish lout? Some of us are trying to enjoy our refreshment. Though this stuff here barely qualifies as such, verging on being straight rotgut. But regardless, your racket is quite bothersome.” And with that, Daichi telekinetically flings Sanji’s refilled glasses into his chest, not causing any harm but making a mess and ruining his drink.

Makane Sanjiro Feudal Spira - Al Bhed [ Spd: 15 [23] | Str: 5 | Def: 5 | Int: 10 | Res: 15 [22] | Spi: 10 ] [ Perception: 16 | Reaction: 20 ] [ Health: 100/100 ] [ Chakra: 15100/15100 ] ----- Sanji had fallen quiet, his very consciousness beginning to slip beneath the surface of the ocean of alcohol that ran through his veins, as he waited for his drinks, fully intent on drinking them, perhaps two more, and going to pass out somewhere. That was his plan… until he was approached by a stranger clad in black, who began insulting the drink, the patrons, and Sanji himself, seemingly out of nowhere. Sanji did not look up from his cups, intent on ignoring the stranger until he went away. He was too drunk for this s**t.
…and then his whiskey was on his chest. There was a collective gasp in the tavern among all who watched, which was most everyone. These people knew Sanji by now, and seemed terrified at what he might do next.
However, Sanji did not seem not upset about the lost whiskey. There was plenty more whiskey to drink here, after all. He wasn’t even visibly upset about having it on his shirt. Hell, there was probably days worth of whiskey on his shirt already. Instead, his mouth cracked into a grin, and he began to laugh, a light chuckle at first, but soon growing into a full-throated cackle.
” You know, fancypants, I was just about to head out and find a place to crash… But you come in here, you insult the food, the drink, the atmosphere… I think I have a better plan for my night now.” He said, and in a flash, his gun was out, the barrel mere inches from the stranger’s temple.
” Now you can head back to your fancy mansion or whatever, or I can spray your brains all over that pretty suit. Your call.”

Daichi would look Sanji directly in the eyes and grin. “The response of a brute definitely. First instinct is for violence, is it? Very well, I can speak that language as well.” With that, he would reach out and place his hand on Sanji chests, before releasing several telekinetic bursts into it. Each burst would be a strong explosive impact. After that, he would use the substitution art technique to replace himself on the stool with another stool, flipped the other way around, while he would slip over to by the door. After that, he would toss another psionic blast over at Sanji.

This guy’s attitude was starting to piss Sanji off, but he only kept smiling, listening as this black clad stranger shat out some more fancy words about speaking the language of violence or something. Sanji laughed, even as the blast slammed into his chest, sending him backwards a few steps into the counter. The laughter never stopped, even as his target retreated towards the door, throwing another blast in his way. Sanji simply ducked his head to the side, the blast missing him by mere inches as he advanced on his next victim. Sanji had no intention of letting him leave.
”Well, me? I’m a real chatterbox. Let’s talk, shitstain.”
With that Sanji raised his gun and fired two shots, one towards each knee, closing the distance between them.
”I gave you the chance to walk out of here, prettyboy. Should’ve listened…”
The next round was aimed directly at his Chest.

Daichi takes the shots, and then slips out the door, closing it behind him with his telekinesis, and blocking the door with a nearby crate. Heavily injured, but now with a good understanding of the power of these firearms. It was quite impressive, the damage they could do. He grins as he seeks medical attention to take care of these wounds. He could wait to master the use of his and be able to use it in combat. Though seeing how this fight went, he knew he needed more as well. And genjutsu would be that more. Genjutsu would be his edge over brutes.

Feudal Spira - Summoner Al Bhed Chaotic Good Genin
Ren reaches Feudal Spira, stepping off of the airship before it even lands properly and dropping to the docks. He bends his knees as he lands on the docks, absorbing the impact of the landing and then strolls down the streets and lanes of the city. He breaths in the air, relishing in its scent that he has missed for so long. He takes a roundabout way to his family’s house, skipping up the stairs once he gets to it. He hugs and greets his family, and sits down to catch up with them. That evening he stays with his family. The next morning, as he sets out to train before setting out for the other villages, his mother gave him a scroll explaining how to perform summons, and his father gives him a scroll explaining the construction of guns and airships. With that he gives them a last hug and sets out across the city. He finds a good place to practice, and spends a few hours practicing the techniques and chakra control of summoning an elemental spirit. He manages to get a few wisps of elemental energy to appear, but not much more. After spending what felt like long enough, he would get thirsty and decide to head to a tavern nearby to get something to drink. He walks in, walks up to the bar, and orders the largest sake they have. He takes note of the bloodstains and broken stools and such, the stool stacked on top of the other, and the armed and heavily tattooed man standing near all of it. When he receives his sake, he spins about so that his back faces the bar and he leans back against it as he looks out across the rest of the tavern. As he drinks, he traces the patterns of the summoning sigils with his fingers to help him memorize them. There were two sets of symbols needed for basic summons, the first couple of symbols set up the summoning, and the second larger set of symbols determined which element the summoning was for. You had to memorize both to succeed at any summonings.

Chuckling as the wise-cracking rich boy stumbled his way out of the bar, bleeding everywhere as he limped away, Sanji made no effort to stop him. ”Guess he didn’t have much to say after all… Sanji chuckled out quietly, mostly to himself, making his way to where the stranger had been sitting in order to finish his nearly-untouched whiskey in one gulp (despite the fact that it was in a glass and with much more than a shot left) before calling out to the startled-looking man behind the bar, seemingly ignoring the frightened atmosphere of the place where he had nearly killed someone mere seconds before.
”Gonna need a new pair of drinks, Barkeep… Sorry about the blood.”, Chuckling again, and rubbing the back of his as if out of embarrassment, Sanji plunged a hand into his pocket, to the startled gasps of the other patrons, who must’ve assumed he was carrying another weapon. Instead he pulled out a fistful of money, not even counting the sizable amount, slapping it down on the counter.
”For the trouble. And two more whiskeys.” While Sanji was pretty well-known around here for his violent nature and short fuse (despite his young age), he was also not one to attack people who he didn’t think had it coming. These patrons had done nothing to piss him off, and the barkeep had been giving him drinks all night, and he had been cut off for being much less drunk than he was now. It wasn’t their fault some rich p***k came in, spouting off at the mouth enough to earn three lead injections courtesy of The Pointmaker. The least he could do for the trouble was to pay for the damages, especially with the near-unlimited amount of money he had access to now, thanks to his deal with Sevan.
He hadn’t heard from Sevan directly since their meeting in the Academy, though the money kept flowing in. He assumed she was paying him from somewhere, and she would let him know if she needed something from him, or if he was doing something she didn’t like. The fact that he hadn’t heard from him was a win win. She wasn’t gonna nag him, and he didn’t have to do anything for her. He just got to spend her money, a not-insignificant amount which was going to repairing places he tore up when he lost his temper, something that was not uncommon.
While this was going on, Sanji noticed another figure had entered the tavern, ordering a Sake and finding a seat, before he immediately began pointing at him, wagging his finger, as if mocking him.
”Got a problem kid? You lookin’ to lose your finger? The ******** you pointing at?” Sanji took one of his two new whiskeys off of the counter and downed it in one swallow, seemingly unaffected by the burn of the alcohol. His other hand went to his hip, where the Pointmaker waited.
Daichi left the medical center, fully patched up but told to refrain from strenuous activities while the wounds fully heal. He did not consider practicing with his firearm a strenuous activity, so that is what he does. He finds an out of the way training area, a good distance from the tavern where Sanji was, and resumes practicing with his firearm. Having experienced the power of one firsthand now, he was even more determined to master this new weapon. It was quite impressive the amount of power it unleashed and the amount of damage it did, and that excited him. He needed powerful weapons to achieve his goal. Of course his stop after this, to learn genjutsu, would also be very important. He wanted, no needed, the power to manipulate the minds of others, to control their senses and feelings and crush them with his mind itself. Of course, he had already planned to visit the Village Hidden in the Leaves, as well as Hidden Soul Village, after Feudal Spira, to learn genjutsu as well as techniques that would help his genjutsu be harder to stop. In fact, the recent interaction had made him think about rethinking his itinerary, to put some things higher up on the list and make certain techniques priorities. He looks over at the target he had been firing at while thinking and saw that his grouping was better than his last try, and closer to the center of his target. This was excellent progress, and the rest of the evening was spent making more progress towards mastering his unnamed firearm. He did need to decide on a name for it, but nothing felt fitting for the masterpiece it was yet. He would have to continue pondering it, until he came across the perfect name for it in his mind.

Ren watches the tattooed man return to the bar, order more alcohol, and slap down a good sized wad of money on the counter, ostensibly to pay for both the alcohol and the damages to the bar. Seemed that from how everyone acted, this was business as normal here, at least around this man. Of course, the right parts of Feudal Spira were always violent. Ah, it felt good to be home, rather than at the stuffy academy. He realized that what the man had said next was directed at him.
“No problem at all. Merely practicing one of the legacies of my bloodlines, that of the summoners. Working on mastering my summoning sigils so I can summon fantastically powerful creatures to fight for me.” Osano would make a few quick sigils and hand signs, and a partial wind spirit would start to form and then dissipate, the summoning unfinished. “Shouldn’t take me long to master these basic sigils, and then start the work on summoning the entities forth.”
He calmly drinks his alcohol, finishing off what he had and ordering another, seemingly unaware of how close the situation was to violence again. However, he was sure he had actually mastered the starting sigils well enough to move onto learning the sigils for specific summons of basic spirits. Those were the ones he was concerned with learning right now, the ones that would boost his abilities. Advanced summons were later, when he felt he needed the assistance in combat and access to their powerful attacks. But the first techniques he wanted to learn were certain basic summons, and several elemental based attacks to finish off his starting arsenal. In addition to making himself a gun that he could power with his chakra and unleash for devastating effect.
