The Caves (5) : To any explorers visiting the new Reservoir, they may find that just a bit away from the sandy water are a set of caves. Some of these connect back to the lake, but others rapidly plunge into darkness. It wouldn't be hard to get lost in here, but thankfully there are some very odd lights to help guide you out. If you turn off your light down some of these dark paths, you may find yourself surrounded by glowing pastel lights. A closer inspection reveals that you seem to be looking at some sort of glowing caterpillars. An internet search will reveal that Destiny City scientists have been researching the strange, unnamed creatures, but the articles are very limited. If you take them out of the cave they seem to shrivel up almost immediately. They’re neat, but clearly meant to be stay in their natural habitat.

"Daddy?" came a small voice that echoed off the walls. "Yes, Dari?" came a young man's voice that also echoed off the walls of the cave. "What are we doing here... I mean besides checking out the crazy glowing caterpillar, that we've seen... about a bazillion times?" The voices moved deeper into the caves. "I'm going to teach to fight as a human - so you can fight in your human glamour should the need arise."

"But I only have one hour." "Then learn it well. I am only teaching you the beginnings for now." "Okay, Daddy, what Martial Art will I be learning?"

"I'm going teach you the tried and true Martial Art of Etamin - Etamazu. Here this Cavern is good enough. With the glow of the caterpillars to light our training, we should do well. Let's start with the stances."

Eternal Sailor Etamin of Hieroglyphics was teaching young Darius Ammun (Human Glamour) various martial arts stances. Dari looked to be an eight-year-old, with no magic. He worked diligently at the stances, that Etamin showed him, while Etamin, gently corrected any error.

They began to realize someone else was in the caves. No one powered up for now. Etamin put his hand up and motioned for silence. He gestured towards the shadows, and both Etamin and Dari retreated into them and waited and watched.

Etamin gestured for Dari to keep quiet, but what does he do - what he's been told not to do a thousand times!

It sounded like someone blew a razzberry, but it reeked like yesterday's diapers!

"DARI!" Etamin exclaimed, forgetting himself. "Sorry, Daddy, I was nervous," Dari said matter-of- factly!

A 21-year-old, Eternal Sailor Etamin stepped out the shadows, dressed like an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh. Alongside him was a young boy about 8 years old, dressed in normal clothing, except he wore no shoes.

Etamin spoke calmly and clearly. "Please do not be afraid. I am Etamin, and this is my..." He looked uncertainly down at Dari, "Son, Dari. I'm teaching him self-defense. We did not want to scare you, so we hid. Then, Dari...let out an indecent sound, even though I've asked him repeatedly not to do that around other people." He frowned down at Dari who shrugged.

Etamin and Dari looked at each other in confusion, did the woman not realize that Etamin was at least dressed strangely? Or furthermore, a Senshi.

She did seem to realize that Etamin seemed a little young to be Dari's father, and Etamin was about to say that it was good to meet her as well, and that he agreed, but also explain that Dari was adopted... when BEEP! BEEP!

Dari's pocket was beeping and glowing. He pulled out a noisy and flashing keychain. Etamin and Dari had looks of horror on their faces and Dari whispered; "Oh no! I'm out of time!"

With that there was a puff of Silvery and Sparkly Mist around him, and he was gone. There was coughing, and when the mist cleared, there was a Silver Egyptian Mau Kitten sitting there, with Ancient Egyptian Anklets around each of his four anklets, as well as a golden star. He looked at her, with a look of 'uh-oh' on his face. "Oh dear." He said.

Etamin closed his eyes and slapped his own forehead.

Dari rolled his eyes. When was the last time a Human was so creative as to call him 'cute'? She probably wanted to pet and cuddle him too. [i[Bleah

"So," Etamin commented slowly. "By now you've realized... at least somewhat what we are. This is why I said that we didn't mean to frighten you. I guess it's time to properly introduce ourselves. I am Eternal Sailor Etamin of Hieroglyphics, and this is my Bonded Mauvian, also known as a Guardian Cat (or rather Kitten in his case), by the name of Darius Ammun. I called him son.... because he's literally latched on to me and has no living family. We share a deep bond and he started calling me 'Daddy' the moment he could speak... so sometimes when he's in Human... ah form or at least the way you just saw him - it's just somehow easier to claim he is my son. Sorry for the confusion."

Etamin and Dari looked at her for a moment and then nodded. "It is okay, you don't need to bow, but, perhaps next time you might want to um power up before giving your identity to strangers." Etamin suggested gently and kindly.

Then he smiled. "Well, it seems a shame to let this training session go to waste as Darius's one hour in a Human Glamour for the day is up. I wonder, if you would like a training session instead?"

Etamin nodded. "That would be a good thing." He smiled once, then turned to Darius, "Now Dari, I want you watch and learn as much as you can." Dari nodded. "Yes, Daddy." He moved in for a better look.

Etamin then said then to the young, "We'll start with the stance or positions you fight from. I want to make sure you have that done. Remember, a sage once said, 'If you can't stand, you can't fight.' I want to make sure that you are well balanced in these stances, before we move on."
