Taking someone's energy might not directly hurt them, but it did leave them vulnerable, and even though Daphne had only been here for a few months, she could tell that the streets were dangerous and that being vulnerable was not
good.
She wasn't going to have to rub that in with this one, though. She could already see the guilty look in his eyes, and he was already offering to leave.
Maybe once she learned more about the Negaverse, and how Chaos worked on Earth, and where the energy
went, she could ask for something more, but as it was, there was not. He said he would be back in the future, and it wasn't like she was going to threaten or hurt him more to see if she could stop that.
That would truly be cruel.
Then there would be reasons for people to cry when they saw her, or to get angry, and while she wanted more than anything else to stop Chaos, she did not think she wanted that.
"Fine. Leave for tonight," she said, and she was already sitting down cross-legged on the pavement, to watch over the sleeping victim for a while.
