Logos hated fireworks. They were always sudden and shocking and never where they were supposed to be. This time of year, they were always popping and exploding all over her neighborhood, despite the illegality and obvious fire hazard of it. The only other time fireworks were worse was when she was powered up, and was ready for an attack from either the Negaverse or the White Moon. But then again, Logos assumed everything she heard while powered up was some Negaverse or White Moon ambush. She liked to think that was what kept her alive.

Though she had to admit, from this far away, the fireworks were fairly nice. They didn't even make a sound...

It took a moment for Logos to realize what she was looking at. The sky lit up impossibly bright, leaving colors swimming in her vision. She wobbled to the side with the shock of it, waiting for the crash that never came. And then the firework hadn't died out like it was supposed to, but had instead created a trail to be followed. Everything in her screamed that she should go away from that trail, move in the opposite direction but... what if it was a distress signal? Miss Acubens had always told her to run into fire if it meant saving their own, especially if they were lower rank...

It was with this in mind that she followed the trail to the reservoir where she met a man she'd never seen before. His fuku denoted him as one of their own, and his power level matched hers... but since she'd never seen him before, she was certain that he wasn't training by Miss Acubens, so regardless of power, he may have been in distress.

"Did you do this," she asked flatly, pointing to the end of the trail that led her here.

If Logos noticed the other senshi's irritation, then she made no show of her. Her expression remained unreadable and flat. Something must have happened, she surmised to have him so instantly on the defense. What that thing was, however, was not her concern. She could feel no Negaverse or White Moon signature near by, so he was not under attack nor was he held hostage. No. He was just a senshi who was out on his own and she had disturbed. Only once he finished his litany of questions did she speak, her voice as flat and calm as her face.

"I ask because I thought this was a distress signal. Who I am is of no consequence to you."

The idea of giving her name to someone so impertinent didn't sit well with Logos. She wasn't exactly one to withhold information, but this senshi rubbed her wrong. It was clear that he was untrained, as evidenced by his sudden show of aggression. Those confident in their abilities as soldiers didn't tend to wear hearts on sleeves, she noticed. She did, however, touch her hand to her clavicle and nod shallowly, showing the basic respect he was due as one of her own. After all, she had no intention of alienating him.

"I apologize for disturbing your evening. It's clear that you are not in need of help, despite your obvious lack of training."

Petty, perhaps. But Logos was still a human.

She bowed her head again and turned to leave.

One of your kind...

Logos turned then, confusion written in her face. It was clear from his fuku and his energy signature that he was Dark Mirror, and he should have been able to derive the same of her. What, then, did he mean by your kind? Did he not consider himself part of the court? Was he thinking of purifying?

Logos opened her mouth to speak but was hit in the face with the attack instead.

As the world twisted and mutated in strange ways, Logos supposed that she deserved this. She'd goaded the other senshi, and she had used her magic against her own the year before. This was just karmic comeuppance. Knowing that, however, did not stop the welling of anger in her gut. She felt her brow furrow, almost as though outside of herself, as she staggered unsteadily towards the other senshi. The ground dipped beneath her, causing her to weave drunkenly, like trying to run in a dream but gravity kept dragging you down. She slurred something like a question, but couldn't be certain that it made any sense.

It was about half a minute but it felt like longer. When she finally did straighten up, Logos was breathing heavily through the exertion it took to stay upright. She wanted to lash out. She wanted to call on her magic and strike him with whip and hand and fist. She wanted to avenge herself.

But she held back, crossing the distance between them in a few swift steps and hissed, "this is treasonous." The same way Acubens orders and Logos' actions at the behest of Acubens had been treason. "Prince Remarque will deal with you."
