Sophie rested her chin on the kitchen counter, leaning against it as she watched Leander moving around the room. It was his turn to cook dinner and she had wanted cheeseburgers, so he was making cheeseburgers, like the greatest brother in the world.
…Which he was.
But, on that note. “Hey, Lea? How come you’re single? Like, seriously, you’re the greatest guy in the whole city at the very least…well, tied with Ren, I guess but. Still. You’re literally perfect. You’re kind and so good to your poor baby sisters, and any guy would be happy to have you. Do you want me to find someone to set you up with? I feel kind of guilty having at least two lovers when you don’t have any.”
There was Cale too, but she hadn’t talked to him in ages, so right now, there was only really Mourite and Marialite. Which…was enough for the moment.
…At least she didn’t have to learn to love either of them. It came very naturally, thank you very much.
“I mean. I don’t know any hot single guys but. I could look if you wanted me to.”

Leander looked up almost immediately, temporarily stunned by the question. Well–no. Not the question so much as her reminding him that she had two...partners.
“Oh, come on. Do you have to say that in front of me?” he sighed, overexaggerating a shudder.
He didn’t want to think about either of his baby sisters with lovers.
Dinner was almost finished, so maybe he could wriggle his way out of this conversation before he had to explain himself too much.
“I haven’t been looking for anyone. Sort of just taking it easy. Maybe someone perfect’ll walk out of the mirror for me,” he laughed, but he didn’t seem too upset by this. He spent a lot of time with the Dark Mirror Court, or with his journalism and photography, or looking out for his baby sisters.
“I guess it’s been a while since I went on a date. Or out to a bar or something, wow. Yeah, it’s been a while. What’s got you thinking about all this?”

“Truthfully? Just watching you move around the kitchen. If we weren’t related I’d totally want you for a domestic boyfriend. Someone would be lucky to have you.”
Sophie grinned at the idea of someone just appearing out of nowhere for her brother but…
“It really doesn’t work like that, Lea. But I’ll see if I can’t scout out the perfect guy for you. Or girl if you’re feeling like leaning that way. I don’t judge. Well. I don’t judge you. Or Kelly. I judge other people. Actually, I’ve become quite judgmental since being brought over, but I think it’s for the best.”
She had more confidence now. Or at least she did while she was powered up. She wasn’t sure how different she was from when she was Charlotte…but thus far, nobody had complained...so that would have to be good enough for now. “What do you want in a lover, Leander? Can you tell me some things you’d be looking for? Obviously, they’d have to be a part of your court or my group. We can’t have anyone who doesn’t have a second life.”

Leander gave her a huffy look as he moved around the kitchen, doing absolutely domestic things while he tried to make sure they had a perfectly good dinner ready in the very near future.
“We can’t? Why not?” he asked, but he really didn’t dwell on it.
“I don’t know what I’m looking for. I mean, I haven’t really been looking. I don’t even know if I’d agree with you thinking I’d be a good domestic boyfriend. Just because I spoil you and your sister doesn’t mean I’d do the same for just anyone. Besides, who would feed you if I wasn’t?”
The corner of his lip twitched into a smile and he gave her a playful look as he slid on his over mitts and pulled the fries out of the oven.
“...Probably still me, actually. Why, who do you think I should be looking for?”

Sophie couldn’t stop herself from snorting as he mentioned not being a good domestic boyfriend, and when he realized the sheer stupidity of his words, she grinned. “There, you see? You’re just perfect. Cooking for us, keeping us safe. Protecting Kelly and I from literally everything. We’re like two pampered princesses under you, our sweet and loving prince charming brother. Anyway, of course it will still be you, we can just invite our lovers over for dinners and I’d even help you cook if you wanted.”
She fell quiet, trying to figure out what kind of a person that Leander would be best with, but finally just shrugged. “Someone attractive. And kind. Maybe a little needy? You seem like you like the needy sort…but they have to be smart too, you’re quicker than most people when it comes to mental athletics so. That’s a must. And they to be a good kisser and be able to take care of any sexual needs you might have.”
Her eyes were fixed on him, and Sophie tried not to laugh as she waited for his reaction. It would be a good one, she hoped.

He groaned again when she said lovers, even if he was pretty sure she was doing it deliberately at this point in time.
No, she was definitely doing it deliberately, and before he knew it he was taking off his oven mitt and he almost threw it at her.
“I’d ground you. I would, I’d do it in a heartbeat, if I thought it would make you learn a lesson. I spoil my baby sisters and this is what I get? Harassment? I made you dinner!”
He gestured to it, as if it were a culinary masterpiece. It might as well have been; it smelled good. Looked good, too. Anyone should have been happy to have a meal like this prepared for them, and though he might fuss about it he was happy to be able to take care of his sisters.
“If I had to pick, just off the bat? I’d want someone honest. I get so tired of people lying to me or keeping secrets. And someone interesting, someone who wants to go on adventures with me. Someone who won’t mind me keeping odd hours or running out because I got a tip or something, or a last minute job. So patient, that’d be good. Someone who trusts me and doesn’t give me any grief.”

His reaction was more than she had hoped for, and Sophie squealed with laughter, getting up and moving to hug her brother tightly, kissing his cheek. “Well, I am always thankful for dinner, Lea! And I’ll go and get Kelly to let her know it’s ready, but…”
Her smile grew a little more serious and her hug tightened.
“I’ll see what I can find. I mean it when I say that I want you to be happy too. You deserve it more than I can say. And I think honesty and trust are two very important things, so I’ll do my best for you!” And with that, she kissed his cheek again and cackled, running off to let their sister know that dinner was ready, and to plan and scheme to find Leander the very best partner in the whole city.
