Patrolling -- and thereby collecting energy alone - wasn't new to Sailor Ferris. Nights thick with options were the ideal and tonght had not disappointed; Sailor Ferris had collected the last of her quota and now sat primed to meet any opponents on her path through town, mood high and melody on her painted lips as she walked, leaping across rooftop gaps to seize a clear route when serendipity itself arose with a whisper, a friend Ferris didn't expect, but greeted her with opportunity.
Down below, just out of reach, was Sailor Elpis, looking around sternly as she took in the area silently. Ferris suspected she sensed her aura, and while she couldn't precisely mask it, she did step from view, angling herself to watch as Elpis frowned, shrugged, and moved on.
Ferris followed. It wasn't precisely the easiest tail, but the corrupt was eager and prepared to call for help rescuing the Eternal from the lies of Order and bring her home' but alas, Ferris suspected she may need trickery, and what a depressing thought, having to decieve someone into the right thing. It would be much easier if Elpis wasn't afraid of here, honestly, but things happened and Ferris was aware Elpis might be difficult.
Ferris realized she fell behind when she realized Elpis wasn't on guard, and Ferris felt a wickedly clever idea percolate in her mind as she slipped along. See where the senshi went. Try cornering her. Dangerous, but --
Ferris blinked when Elpis approached some apartments, and blinked, spluttering silently to herself in absolute jubilation as serendipity graced her again with luck as Elpis powered down inside the complex, and immediately Ferris moved in to follow on the rooftops, following the civilian as she approached an apartment, fishing a for a key to her home. Ferris did not waste an opportunity. Silently and swiftly, she slipped to the balcony, testing the door and finding it unlocked before moving inside swiftly, delighted as things kept coming up in her favor. A civilian could be subdued, and if Ferris could prevent her from powering? The best odds. of capturing the senshi came with keeping her a civilian, and Ferris settled to wait as the front door unlocked, and one Emily Wren Wiley entered her humble abode, and stopped at the sight of Ferris standing there, arms crossed, a wide grin on her face as a wave of triumph flooded her system. She had no choice now, she belonged to the Negaverse, and now she'd learn it.
"Hello, Elpis." Ferris greeted eagerly, and Emily tensed before Ferris made a move towards her. With a sudden motion, the woman drew her henshin pen, but instead of powering, Ferris afforded no free space, eager to capture and grab before she re-henshined, but Emily greeted her by stabbing with the magical item, slashing roughly and forcing Ferris back; and in seconds, Elpis stood where Emily had, a battle stanvce threatening the corrupt.
Ferris hissed.
"Oh, do be quiet. I'll be sending for a friend... You'll like him, I promise... You can come home..." Ferris began cooing, but Elpis had none of it, slamming a fist into Ferris' jaw. Although it did not break, it hurt and Ferris stepped back as Elpis made for a blunt item to weaponize. Ferris recognized the danger, and prepared to cast her attack regretfully before, in a flash, Elpis slammed her with a thick, heavy book, the corrupt off her balance before Elpis practically flew out the door, Ferris swearing as the Eternal fled into the city night, before issuing a heavy sigh and grinning wildly. No matter. She'd find Periclase and tell her of her wonderful discovery... Next time. Next time, Ferris would have her safe.
...Right now, the blows she took hurt, though, and Ferris moved to find some ice. She could contact others, and wait, wait as long as she had to. Hopefully, Elpis returned tonight. Hopefully.
