He arrived at the sheltered beach where he was to meet a mentor that was supposed to help him figure out what he wanted to do. He still struggled with which direction he wanted to go career wise and he figured a work shop on it would be the lesser of all evils in helping him along to make a decision.
He took a good look around but did not see anyone else around. The cove edges were densely forested and there was on path leading in and one path leading out.

An emergency at him had taken extra time this morning but she was here now, she waved at the prentice that had already arrived.
“Hello, I’m sorry, there was a problem with an injured janarim at home, It made me late I’m afraid.”
She looked around. “We are waiting on one more now.” A kahikinian in fact.

She emerged from the water and climbed onto the beach. She had decided to seim to her appointment. It helped to keep her skin moist.
Though glancing at the clouds, that might not be much a problem for too much longer.
“Hi! Sorry I’m late, I fancied a swim today, the current was a bit well stronger than normal. I’m Akeakilaki.”

Both of these ladies were impossibly pretty. He felt rather like a spitorog among flowers.
“I’m here because I’m not any closer to figuring out which class I want to chose and well its been about two years and I am quite frustrated.”

“My name is Ninaeleth and our goals today are to help both of you decide. You dear, have you got any idea of what you want to do?”
“It took me a bit of time to decide and it doesn’t make you any less than those who know what they want to do when they are younglings.”

Akea recognized the woman as the lady of their little village that helped sick animals. That in itself was quite interesting.
“Well I have narrowed it down to treasure hunter or shaman.”
She wasn’t sure there was any better word for someone who was very spiritual and traveled through dreams and meditation to interpret signs from the universe.

She looked younger than he and still appeared to have stuff more figured out than he did.
He sighed but tried not to look too put out. No matter how long the path, he would eventually get to the destination if he tried hard enough.
He waited expectatly for Nin to tell them how this was going to go. It beat siting at home at least.

"I am a firm believer of learning on the job. I have reports of an injured Bushi along one of the beaches. We are to find it and treat it and on the way we can talk in the hopes of awakening some insight in your guys."
She readjusted her pack.
"Come along then the information said it was along the far shore somewhere. An injured Bushi won't get far very fast."

They walked along htebeach inspecting tracks in the sand as they came across them, slowly getting to know each other with idle prattle.
At the very least the chatter made the distance travelled seem minimal.
It was nice to meet new people and she felt deep in her bones that they both had information she could learn from.
The lightning hybrid might even be able to get her seeds from Belrea maybe.
Worth a shot at least.

The clouds rather than be obliging and sauntering off, loomed and coalesed just as they found the tracks of the animal they sought inlaid into the land.
They followed the trail and seemed to be getting close when the sky opened up and gave birth on heck of a rainstorm.
He spotted a few trees piled together creating a natural lean to.
"Over here" He called to the others which he could barely see now in the fury of the rain.

Nin reached the shelter Rex had so handily found in the knick of time.
"You would make a fine ranger if that is a path that interests you."
She sighed as she looked out at the beach.
"I hope we are close, the rain will wipe away any tracks that we could follow. Though they were getting quite fresh. I assume we will see it around the next bend or two. I hope we find it before and enterprizing snaptrotter does."
It would break her heart to fail now, especially with apprentices along.

She normally really liked the rain but it was sure putting a damper on things today.
"So much for finding out target with no issues."
She pilled out some dried fish.
"Might as well have a snack break. Is anyone hungry?"
She gave some of the fish to the others and chewed meditatively on her own.
"At least it can't move too fast right?"

They talked at length about different career paths and it gave him a few ideas at least. He was sur now that he wanted to be in a non magic, non ranged battle class and was dithering between sentinel or assassin as the storm raged on outside.
He was more than a little grateful to be nice and dry with such interesting company. Company that had surely helped him with self imposed stalemate.

A sliver of bright light finally cut through the dampening storm bringing with it a widening ray of calm.
She ushered her charges out and they marching in ground eating strides to catch up with their as yet unseen quarry.
She doubted the drenching had been helpful for the bush, rain and injuries seldom mixed well especially in the wake of shock.

She saw their target curled into its protective shell as they rounded a spit of land.
“There it is.” She hissed excitedly to the others. Only upon their close approach did the Bushi bother to pop its head out of its shell for a cursory look at its bedraggled visitors.
It grunted at them unimpressed. She chuckled. “A fine day to you sir.”
