Ken stood on a street of Tapu Village and looked around with a lost expression on his freckled face. There was definitely some nervousness there, too. He had never been sent out on his own before... usually he had a partner. He supposed now was the time for him to be thrown from the nest to see if he could fly. I'll prove that I can do this... I'll show them I'm worthy! Maybe then he would be given better Pokemon than the useless, low level Zubat and Rattata that Team Rocket had given him. As with all newbie grunts, he had been given lowbie, common Pokemon of which there had been many to spare. He counted himself lucky that he was in disguise and at least did not have to wear any stupid uniform or haircut. He was in street clothes, which at the moment was a red t-shirt with a brown vest over it, tan cargo pants, red sneakers, and white fingerless gloves. His hair was as it always was, light brown and shaggy and nearly shoulder length, and atop his head was an alice band with fake Ursaring ears attached. Yes, a strange fashion choice, so what. Anyone who had anything to say about it could shut up.
Wait, I don't need them to give me good Pokemon... I'll show how great I am by stealing good Pokemon myself! That'll impress them! That was part of why he was here: To steal valuable Pokemon. The other part was simply to be a pair of eyes on the island. If he saw anything that he thought the Higher Ups would find interesting, he was to report back to them. He remembered once more that he was alone today and was nearly daunted, but he took a deep breath and was determined to do a good job for his team.

Sapphire woke up earlier like she always does since the beginning of her career as an idol. She would stamina trained so that her body can keep up with demand of her performing, in the earlier mornings. She changed into her workout clothes and putting her hair up in a ponytail before heading out for a small jog around Malie city, it was her warm up before the longer jogs to the beach with her pokemon. She made a quick stop to pick up malasadas form the shop before heading back home.
Once she was back home, she pack her bag with everything that she needed for her jog and practicing, she even packed the malasadas that she picked up. She finished packing what she needed, she grabbed her pokemon and headed out a open spot to let them out of their pokeballs. "Alright ready to start stretching and then our jog to the beach~?" asked her pokemon, they all called out in response that they were ready to start stretching. Then Sapphire started their stretching routine that they do every morning before their longer jogs. Once they were all stretched out and ready to go, they started their jog to the beach.
Sapphire was going to use the spot called Secluded shore but sometime after she left on her journey, it became a Mantine surfing spot. She wanted a spot that wasn't too crowded and that was passed Tapu Village on Route 15. So she would take their jog through Tapu Village stopping at the pokemon center for water break. Sapphire took the time to make sure everyone had some water before getting back to their jog to the beach on route 15.
As they got the beach, they took some time to rest from their jog. Sapphire set up a spot for her things, she pulled her portable speakers and music player out of the bag. She also pulled out sunscreen and applied it to her skin as she didn't want to get burned. Once she was done putting sunscreen on, she put it back in her bag and closed it and set up her player and speakers so that they could hear it. She looked back to her pokemon and called out "Is everyone ready to do our practice performance~?" Her pokemon nodded and gave a small call before getting into positions. She gave a nod as she pressed play and quickly run to her spot and giving a small bow with her pokemon before the music started. Once the music started up, Sapphire started singing and dancing as her pokemon started dancing also using their abilities to make a show.
Ken had still been trying to figure out what to do next when the answer came to him in the form of a young woman jogging by with a procession of Pokemon. He stared wide-eyed. They looked so strong and valuable--and scary--but exactly what Team Rocket was looking for. He had been studying up on Alolan Pokemon and so recognized Decidueye and the Alolan Ninetales. That fluffy grey one... it looked like MIncinno, but, no, a little different... an evolved form? And the white and blue cat looking one... Meowstic, right! But that big purple one and the also big white and red one, he had no idea what those were. They must be rare, then!
He walked behind at a distance, pretending to simply be strolling the streets, and saw the lady go into the Pokemon Center with her crew. He sat on a bench nearby and waited until he saw her emerge. She came back out with all her Pokemon and resumed her jog. Ken waited until she got some distance away, and then got up to follow. Problem was, he quickly lost her. He realized that he, too, would need to jog if he hoped to catch up. So, he also jogged.
But he had still lost her. Eventually he dropped back to a walk so he could recover his breath; this did not take long, as he was quite good at running as it happened. Where did she go? They have to still be on this island somewhere! How big can it be? You can't just hide with that many Pokemon! Then a horrible thought occurred to him. What if they were aware that he had been following them and just pretended they had not noticed? What if they were now hiding and waiting so they could spring an ambush?! What if they tortured him until he told them everything he knew about Team Rocket (which was not much) and then just murdered him!? It was not like anyone else was around right now to stop that from happening or even notice. He peered about at the trunks of the tall, tropical trees and the heavy undergrowth of foliage that were in shadows and could hide anything, and almost went slinking back to town. No, they wouldn't do that! They don't know I'm in Team Rocket, they would just think I'm some kid! The worst she'd do is just yell at me for following her... right? And she doesn't know I followed her, I'm too sneaky! He inhaled a breath that he hoped would calm his nerves. He kept walking.
Before long, he heard a sound. He realized it was music, and it was coming from the direction of the beach. He turned to cut across through the trees and bushes and follow the noise. Now the beach came into sight, and there she was, that lady with all her Pokemon! She was singing and dancing with them while they all fired off attacks. They were performers? Ken settled behind a rock and watched for several minutes. He thought she was actually pretty good. He had no idea that she was an idol. How am I supposed to nab one of her Pokemon when mine are so weak? Maybe I can wait until she's asleep... That could be quite some time, as the day had just started, but if patience was what it took, then patience was what Ken would apply. He was determined to succeed. Maybe she'll put them back in their Pokeballs and go for a swim, and leave them by themselves on the beach... and they'll be all tired out when she's done! Yes, that's what I'll do. Thus, Ken only remained hidden and watched for now.

During their practice, Yuki (hisuian zoroark) had noticed that someone was watching but kept going like he didn't see anything. When song finished, they were posed in their final pose for the song. Sapphire was first to break her pose and turning to her pokemon saying "That was amazing you guys~. That practice perform was flawless with how much we worked on it~." Her pokemon nodded and called out in cheerful response to their practice. As she was giving them affection attention, she heard the next starting to play. "Oh~ better turn that off~" she said as she ran over to her stuff and turning her music player and speakers off. When she turned off the player, her stomach gave off a loud hunger growl. She gave slight blush before turning to look at her team and saying "Let's set up the blanket/mat and have some breakfast~." Her team called out in excitement before going over to help set up.
Yuki was still keep his attention to where the person was hiding, Sapphire had stalkers before and when Yuki evolved from a zorua he would scare the stalkers to never bother her again. He still helped in setting up to not give away that there was something watching them. Once the blanket/mat was set up, Sapphire started getting her teams food ready into bowls and setting them out in front of them.
Once she was done prepping their food and putting their food back into her bag, she pulled out her bento of food for her. "Once everyone is finished with breakfast, I got us a sweet 'pick me up' for after we finish breakfast~" she said as she pulled out the box of malasadas from her bag and set them in front of her. They all smiled and cheered happily when saw they box of malasadas, then they began to eat their breakfast. Sapphire smiled also as she picked her utensils pouch, pulling out the chopsticks, then grabbed her bento, opening it up to eat her breakfast.
They all were having a nice peaceful breakfast on the beach while Yuki was keeping watch as he ate. Yuki wasn't sure of who was watching them or what their intent was, so he keep his eyes on the area where the person was. The sea breeze was gently blowing as Sapphire was enjoying this quiet moment with her team. Soon everyone was finished up with breakfast and then past a malasadas to each of her pokemon. They happily started to eat it as Yuki was more on the calm side.
"Mmmmmm~ so good~. I haven't malasadas since I left for my journey~" she said after she took a bite of hers. "We should work on contest appeals, we already missed one contest so it would best to keep up with practice for the next one." she continued on as she ate her malasada. Her team nodded in agreement as they finished up the malasadas, Sapphire finished up her also. "Mmm~ Alright the rest will be saved for later, let's clean up and get back to practice." she said as she wiped her fingers with a napkin and then the corners of her mouth. Everyone helped clean up and put everything back into Sapphire's bag.
"Alright then~ who wants to be first to start off the appeal practice~?" she asked her team. Echo, Noivern, let out a load roar before flapping his wings to take off into the air. Echo started flying around doing aerial tricks, "Hehe okay Echo, you can go first~." she said as she chuckled as Echo was ready to let loose. While everyone else watched Sapphire and Echo work, Yuki keep looking over at the spot where the person was hiding, being ready to pounce when necessary.

Ken
The practice performance ended and the group was going to take a break. Unfortunately for Ken, they all decided to eat together instead of doing anything that might provide an opportunity to steal one of the Pokemon. He was unaware that one of the Pokemon knew he was there. All that food looked really good... Ken realized that he had not eaten much that day and was quite hungry. This was going to be a long day. Watching them eat was boring and tormenting, so he slowly lowered himself down on his belly behind his hiding rock and just laid there for now to rest. At least the combination of sunshine and sea breeze was nice. Ken might have dozed off if not for his anxiety making that nearly impossible.
He became aware after a while that the sounds from the beach had changed, and there was a flapping noise. He slowly sat up on his knees so he could peek around the rock again to see what was happening. It looked like the girl and her Pokemon were doing more training. Drat! Oh well, maybe they would be especially tired out if they kept going like this. Maybe they would all take a nap! Ken had nothing to do but continue to hide and watch for now.

Sapphire worked Echo's appeals until she thought that they were solid for a contest. "Good work Echo~, that was great~." she said as Echo landed in front of her. She pets and scratches Echo's face and chin area, Echo gave some pleasant noises as the pokemon enjoyed the attention. She stopped and turned to the rest of her team saying, "Alright lets work on a double appeal~ mmm how about Yuki and Haunani (alolan ninetales)~." Haunani had gotten up went over to crystal, while Yuki still had his focus on the person that was watching them.
Yuki was keeping his focus on the person that was hiding but snapped out of it when Sapphire called out to him. He looked over to her before glancing back at the spot the person was hiding in. All her pokemon had made them comfortable in the sand while watching the appeal practice that Echo did. Yuki got up from his spot and started to head over to Sapphire and Haunani. Yuki was passing Echo, who was going to get settled into a spot, he gave Echo the heads up. "keep your ears open and be on guard, someone is watching us." Yuki told Echo as he passed. Echo heard him and then scanned the ridge of the brush and rocks and gave a quick nod as Echo settled into a spot to watch them. Yuki made it up to them and then they started their double appeal practice.

The practice performance with the big black and purple bat thing finally ended—but then the trainer went on into even more practice! Does she ever rest?! Ken thought in frustration. He did not mind watching, actually it looked pretty cool and the trainer was not bad to look at, but he wanted to hurry up and make his attempt. It was nerve-wracking to just watch and wait like this.
He realized with a chill that the red and white Pokemon was looking his way. He gasped to himself and ducked down behind the rock. He did not hear anyone coming... when he dared peek out again, the red and white one was busy performing, but now that bat thing was looking this way! They were onto him! He ducked down again. This spot was compromised... he would have to move elsewhere. Staying low, he army-crawled back into the trees and the foliage, and then only got up onto his hands and knees. He circled around to come to a different vantage point. He found a rock outcrop, and there were fissures and cracks throughout the rock. One was wide enough for him to squeeze into, so he did so and scooted toward the other side of the crack until he could see the beach again. The trainer and her Pokemon were still there... but still had not taken a break. Maybe he could try to set a trap or distraction. He began to think of ways to do this.

Ruby had just made it back to Alola. She had been modeling for a while now but really wanted to get back to her roots. She also heard from the grapevine that her cousin was around. The two had their unpleasant moments but in the end, she still loved her and really did want to see her once more. As she walked out, her Zoroark with her, she stretched taking in the sun. "It has been so long Kitsune!" she said to her. "We must find my cousin now! I think I know her well enough to remember what she would be doing and around where right now." The two went out looking for her. They stopped at a few places but failed to find her for a bit. Finally, they had a bit of luck and noticed her. Wanting to surprise her she went around through the trees and bushes ready to surprise her. She held in a giggle knowing she would be furious at first. She couldn't help it, she loved to mess with her. as she neared she noticed someone watching her. A fan? Maybe a stalker? He looked a bit young for a stalker. No matter what she felt a bit of anger and nodded at her Large Fox-like friend. The two snuck up behind him. "Is this a bad time kid?"

"Aaahh!" Ken cried out as he jumped in surprise; he then squeaked as he hit his head on part of the surrounding rock. He spun around to see that another trainer and Pokemon had snuck up on him! He had become so engrossed in watching that first trainer and in making a plan that he must have become oblivious to his surroundings. He could chide himself later. Assuming he was about to be attacked, he squeezed out through the opposite side of the gap in the rock. This had the consequence of meaning he would now be fully visible from anyone on the beach, but his focus was on escaping harm. He made a dash for the treeline.
Location: Secluded Shore, running from Ruby. Wearing/Possessions: Red t-shirt, brown vest, tan cargo pants, red sneakers, white fingerless gloves, alice band with Ursaring ears, waist pouch with supplies.
As Sapphire working with Yuki and Haunani on their team appeal. Just before Sapphire was about to use a z-move, they all heard the scream come from the ridge. Echo called out and swiftly got to his feet turned to the ridge, ready to pounce at whatever made the sound. Sapphire stopped turned towards where the scream had came from, and all of her pokemon had turned to look towards the ridge.
"Who's there~!?" Sapphire called out to who ever was on the ridge. She was about to say something when she saw someone squeeze themselves through the rock. "Where you spying on me?!" she called out to the kid that was visible now. Once he started to dash "Hey!!" she yelled out, Echo took off in response to catch the kid that was running to the trees.

Ruby sighed as he ran off. Well, that ruined a lot. She walked out to see her cousin. "Hello cuz, it's me and I guess some wired fan of yours." She yelled as she started to make her way to her. One Pokemon went after him but she had no desire to chase him down, just get rid of him. If he was gone, good enough for her. Kitsune walked up to the strange-looking Zoroark and looked it over. This was most odd to it. "So you're going to let your Pokemon inflict pain on him? I missed you!"

Ken registered that he had been seen and called out by the girl he had been watching, and he registered even more deeply that the purple and black bat thing was coming after him! He sucked in a breath and pushed himself faster on toward the trees; because his pursuer was a flying type, it should be somewhat hindered by the trees. After a few moments, he had left the sand of the beach and had gotten under the shade of the trees growing just beyond it. He dashed behind a tree trunk for cover and looked back around it to see if that Pokemon was still coming and if yes, how close it was so that he could decide what action to take.

Yuki started to growl when the scream was heard, he quickly stood in front of everyone ready to unleash a hellish nightmare. Echo stopped chasing the kid once he got into the trees. Echo stayed at the tree line looking for the kid that was hiding among the trees.
Sapphire was a bit surprised when she heard Ruby's voice yell out to her. "Ruby~! I missed you too~! When did you get back home~?" Sapphire asked her as she went up beside Yuki. "It's okay Yuki, she's my cousin." she said to Yuki as she touched his arm/paw. Yuki stopped growling and looked at Sapphire before settling down. "They started to be my bodyguards after some stalkers got a bit too...ehh... I can never be too careful with my fans now. Echo, come back, you scared him off for now." She said to Ruby before calling out to Echo to come back to her.
Echo looked back at Sapphire as she had called out to him. He gave a scary cry to the kid that was hiding in the trees before flying back over Sapphire and the others. Yuki watched Ruby come up to Sapphire soon his eyes went over to Kitsune was looking him over. Yuki looked at Kitsune and watching him and also looking over Kitsune too.
"I just got back not too long ago," Ruby said as she made it to her and hugged her. "Pokemon bodyguards huh? Not a bad idea I guess." She looked over her team recognizing a few. The strange Zoroark was new. Kitsune quickly put up an illusion to look like Tiamat. Now looking like a Salamence it looked at it expecting it to put up an illusion of its own. "Anyway, I wanted to see you again believe it or not."
