After meeting Monoceros again, seeing what he had become, there was one thing that Izanami wanted, and it was to find Julienne and tell the cat everything she'd seen. And maybe....well, Kirika wasn't generally given to emotional breakdowns, but. She felt as if one might be coming on.
Frankly, she felt she was justified, all things considered. Her first ally, her first friend, in this magical endeavor....turned against them by the Negaverse.
So she sent Julienne a message, asking her cat friend to meet her a few blocks from her apartment building, plopped down on a bench, and waited, trying to keep herself as together as possible.

Julienne hadn’t been expecting the invitation, but she couldn’t say that she wasn’t pleased to be needed.
She hurried over to the spot without delay, and when she arrived, she humped up onto the bench and nuzzled into Izanami’s chest, beginning a low, rumbling purr. “It’s very good to see you. Is everything all right?” Obviously not, or she wouldn’t have been summoned, but…the least she could do was keep calm and do what she could to keep her senshi as calm as possible too.
“You’re looking well, and I hope that you’re not hurt, I’m…I’m sure that I can find someone to help heal you if that’s the case, but I didn’t bring anyone now…I do have some bandages though! If that would be at all helpful?”
She hesitated and climbed into the senshi’s lap, leaning up to lick her cheek softly. “If it’s a sad problem, you can hug me all you need to, and I do have some candy that I stole from my house! If that would help you feel better?”

As soon as Julienne was with her, Izanami wrapped her arms around the cat and buried her face in her fur. It felt nice, to just...take comfort, from someone who wasn't going to judge her for needing it. To not have to be perfectly composed and controlled for five minutes.
"I'm not....really hurt," she said. Monoceros's attack had been painful, but when the quills faded, she wasn't left crippled and bleeding or anything. Just a lingering ache in her shoulder, from where the pins had gone in. "I just...."
Her breath caught.
"Do you remember Monoceros? The Senshi that was at my awakening? the one who helped me? He--they---Julienne, the Negaverse got him." And then, she heaved a sob, and the tears burst forth. There was no more control, just sobbing over a lost friend. "He--he didn't remember me at all, and he tried to kill me."

Julienne paused and shuddered at the words. The thought of that bright, sweet boy…being taken by the Negaverse…the very idea of Chaos changing him. Making him into a monster and trying to kill this senshi was too much to comprehend. It made her think of Lenka. Lost to chaos too…or at least that was what Goretti had reported. He had seen her…At least she wasn’t trying to kill people, so far as Julienne knew.
“Oh…Izanami…I’m so very sorry…I can’t imagine how afraid you must have been…I’m so glad that you were able to get away…that you weren’t hurt too badly, and that you weren’t taken too…”
Her paw gently patted the senshi’s cheek, all soft beans and fur, everything gentle.
This senshi needed gentle right now. And strength.
“We can save them from chaos, you know. It might not be too late to help him…if he wants to get out…we would only need to call upon Cosmos for assistance, or a Royal Senshi…though I’m not sure I know of any or can think of any but…we can help him…”
If he wants it. That was the big issue, wasn’t it?
Chaos could take whatever it wanted, but in order to burn it away, the one who was infected had to realize it and want to be saved…it wasn’t…really fair when she thought of it that way.
“...Did he seem like he could be convinced?”

Izanami nodded. "My magic worked. Hurt him enough that I could run away." Her shoulders dropped. "I know it is necessary to fight--know that better than ever, now--but I wish...."
She wished it wasn't necessary. Wished that there was no insidious enemy, who wanted to destroy them, and who claimed people like Monoceros and rewrote them into machines of destruction.
She squeezed Julienne a little tighter, though she was still careful to not do anything that might hurt.
The knowledge that people could be saved....that was like a beacon of hope, for her. There was a chance. Someone might be able to help Monoceros, to bring him home.
"I-I don't know," Izanami admitted. "He jumped to trying to kill me quite quickly, so I don't think....I don't think that's possible right now." She took a deep breath. "Maybe another time. Maybe if I can get him to slow down, and talk, he won't try to kill me again." That seemed quite unlikely, and it was optimism that was usually not in Izanami's wheelhouse. But she wanted it to be true. Wanted there to be a chance to save her friend.

“I’ll see about getting you in touch with some friends who might be able to help. My bonded senshi, my Adria, he’s got a lot of friends that he talks with. Maybe some of them could assist you with helping Monoceros…from what I understand…he was a part of their group, their court before all of this happened. And they were just able to get another one of their senshi back too. Sailor Lysithea…so there is hope.”
Julienne continued to purr, trying to calm the girl down, trying to just…
It was all horrible.
Chaos was horrible. She couldn’t deny it. And for a moment, a fierce anger flared up within the Mauvian and she wanted to scream and growl and just rend Metallia to bits with her claws but…
But instead she licked Izanmai’s cheek. “...You should talk with them. I think they could really help you. And I know they would welcome you.”

"That sounds good," Izanami said. More allies would be for the best; she would be safer in numbers, and also, she wanted to meet Julienne's friends. It would be much safer that way. And having people she could reliably call on would make all of this...much better.
"I can make some free time to meet them." She moved her hands to skritch behind Julienne's ears, taking a deep breath. THe tears had mostly stopped, now; she was no longer sobbing, and instead she was looking towards the future. There was so much she needed to do.
Because she was going to help bring Monoceros home.
"Thank you, Julienne," she said, and she bent to press a kiss between the cat's fuzzy ears. "I'm lucky to have you." For a myriad of reasons, but this was definitely one.
