Sailor Pratchett, Corrupt Sailor Ferris, Miss Kitty - Eos Galvus
Sailor Hyakutake - Das Tor

It was good, being home. Oh sure, she'd kept in touch. Kept up her part of the rent to help out her friends. But there was something about being home. Being in the guise of a senshi once more. The plump woman took in a deep breath of the late evening DC air, leaning back against the wall of a building, two stories up with a thick ledge under her feet. Being a senshi made her feel...like she could take on anything. Though...it also reminded her of other things. She took a deep breath, shaking her head. No...she didn't want to think about that in that moment. Hyakutake just wanted to enjoy being home, being back in her fuku again.

Kyoto had been good to her, but it was back to business.

Leslie didn't have William tonight. He was spending a week with his mother, because both were making sure he was doing well with school, though at times, Leslie... Leslie just wanted to homeschool his son between them; history, math, science -- everything. But alas, they just couldn't, so they fret and fussed over his education instead, looking to gift him all the opportunities he could want.

Leslie had been grocery shopping that night and he was bringing home some extra things for the next time Willian was home with him, a slight bounce in his step as he walked down the sidewalk, appreciating the evening for what it was as he moved along merrily. It was cool, clear, and splendid, with a faint damp earth scent, and he loved it, starting to smile when suddenly, his head didn't feel right. Nothing felt right, really, and immediately he began panicking as waves of nostalgia for... For... -- For school? Why did his chest hurt?! Was he having a heart attack?! Leslie panicked, feeling himself seize and feel pain as he stumbled, trying for his phone.

Nailed him. Sailor Ferris nailed the target and while he was wrapped up in his panic, the corrupt senshi made good use of the distraction hitting him with her magic afforded her. The senshi, by and large, was working to make quota. It was nice knowing it was useful for this job, and with the man stunned, Sailor Ferris checked the area again. She was being cautious and wary, paying attention for aigns of some Super or Squire or stronger whom might try to lie to stop her, but frankly, all she noted was a brief aura of some basic b***h, and then nothing. Well, that was fine, the basic probably left, and Sailor Ferris sauntered towards her prey proudly, the plump woman sauntering in pride as she approached, grinning.

"Good Evening. Haven't seen Elpis out have you?" The Mauvian's voice preceded her appearance, but once she appeared, she approached as a cat on a mission might, natively dampening the woman's aura without thinking of it as she approached Hyakutake with a smile only a cat could offer -- for all Miss Kitty was Mauvian, the Mauvian was also very much around normal cats, and she picked up several habits well before Adventures In Human Form.and some things were much easier to communicate like normal cats. Other times, she just felt like being a pill. Tonight it was convenient, and the albino Mauvian rushed over and twined about Hyakutake's legs in a warm greeting before freezing, one ear flicking before her gaze turned serious and she looked, little paws resting on the ledge.

She sensed something. The moment the Chaos aura drew near she sensed something and the Mauvian craned her fluffy little neck to peer. What in... Was someone in need of awakening? Was an agent of chaos looking to attack an unawakened senshi? But why was the unawakened senshi's starseed only flickering briefly, were they killed?!

"...Belay that... Did you feel that chaos aura? I thought I sensed a senshi to awaken but only for a second, what's going..."

Sailor Ferris' Basic Attack

Sailor Scout Attack: Nostalgic Razor
Ferris concentrates her power to her fingertips, and points one finger at a person, up to six feet around her, iand that person will be overcome with Nostalgia for better times. This will cause a pain in their chest as if the yearning physically hurts. Both the nostalgia and the pain last 30 seconds.

Useable 3 times a day.
Sailor Ferris must see the target(s) to cast but need not keep her eyes locked on once it takes effect.

Hyakutake had been slightly distracted as a faint sense of Chaos tugged at her senses, but then there was Miss Kitty, and she smiled slightly and bent down to pet the Mauvian's back gently. "I'm afraid I haven't. I just got back in town earlier tonight, and as much as I wanted to just sleep, I was feeling too restless." And then there was that feel of Chaos again, and even her Mauvian companion noticed it. She took a breath in, nodding.

"I did. Let's check it out." And she was jumping down from the building, making her way for the aura quickly, but quietly. She was a defensive senshi; it was best to use a surprise to her advantage if she could.

Eos Galvus
Miss Kitty followed Hyakutake, keeping close to her and clinging desperately as she moved, ears listening, and tail down in the characteristic stalk of an unhappy cat. While she was livid at her senshi for being missing again, there was Chaos to contend with and the most bizarre sensation of an unawakened senshi flaring then disappearing again to look into; and probably figure out why it seemed like a supernova. Did Chaos beat her to someone? Well, maybe, but they were close enough Miss Kitty didn't doubt a purification could be arranged and a chaos mauvian couldn't be clawed half to death for daring move in on her territory. Or better, she could introduce the sodding b*****d to Bitchkitty. Sandalwood seemed aware what was up and Miss Kitty was delighted the cat stopped being a b***h at her and her ferrets -- but a chaos cat? Stranger. Claws would happen and Miss Kitty would rejoice.

The sight that waited was far from a chaos awakening on Miss Kitty's territoryu however and the Mauvian was practically disappointed to not throw some poor sod to the mighty Sandalwood for a worthy punishment, but she did wonder if she needed to borrow the cat for patrols, even if a cat with another cat on lead might look strange.

Corrupt Sailor Ferris was oblivious to the approach of trouble -- she assumed the Order blip had left, unaware it was in fact homing in like a heat seeking missile, on track for diversion and attack, and concealed by a Mauvian escort dampening her aura to prevent detyection. If anything, she was focused, slipping in to creep up on the man who had collapsed, largely from the pains her magic resulted in, convinced he was in cardiac arrest. And frankly, that, Ferris felt, might be the most merciful. She'd looked all night for a target, and while he wasn't a creep... She was rather desperate for energy. Besides, he looked like he barely went outside anyhow; she was doing him a favor!
He seriously radiated of the sort locked inside reading far too often to be living life, so if she overcompensated for her night of meh, who could blame her? Besides, he also looked like he was in like, his late thirties. Health blips happened, some illnesses hid for years before murdering someone and leaving families bereft, so she was well within her rights.

Besides he bought Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, what self-respecting adult ate that? All valid justification as Ferris paused a foot away before cracking her knuckles.

Hyakutake was tired, yes. But when she saw the corrupt, with a civilian on the ground? It gave her something of a second wind. "Hey! Elvira-wannabe!" Hyakutake didn't give herself time to think. She was out of practice, out of surprise, and hoping the civilian wasn't out of time. She launched herself at the other senshi, ready with a punch. She'd go from there if needed. "Kitty! See if he's still breathing!" She wasn't graceful in her attempt to fight off the corrupt...but she was trying!

Eos Galvus
Ferris' gaze snapped to Hyakutake with a look of utter surprise, eyes locking on Hyakutake in alarm as the other basic snuck up on her. Ferris hadn't expected her to be snuck up on -- let alone for her aura to be undetectable -- how?! Ferris moved immediately, turning on Hyakutake with a rapid motion before suddenly moving, barely blocking at the last moment, before offering a thin hiss before forming a fist and swinging back.

"You can back off! Ignorant twit!" Ferris snapped, before attempting a punch of her own.

Miss Kitty didn't need told twice as she bound after Hyakutake, then landed on her feet, casting a hiss in Ferris' direction, all fangs and claws before she nosed past, every hackle raised just as if Ferris were some youma or worse; the albino prancing rapidly for the civilian laying on the ground, immediately beginning to inspect him.

She didn't have hands. Paws were good, and toebeans wouldn't hurt, but she still needed to use other senses, sniffing his face lightly until she detected breath, and the Mauvian flopped, playing the innocent cat for a moment to lay her head on his throat lightly, listening to his pulse.

"....O....oh.... H...Hello little friend...." Leslie was still on the ground, but the pain was passing -- was it supposed to be so fast? It seemed to ebb with the sense of nostalgia, and the man... Was so painfully confused. But the little white cat was... Soft. Sweet. Trying to help. Miss Kitty's ear flicked, the Mauvian wedging herself in close before sensing around, then frowned. No additional chaos auras, just one, and she supposed there wasn't a Mauvian afoot -- if only because she looked as they moved, and close in she could feel the ebbing sense of an unawakened starseed and finally it occurred to her that the senshi she'd sensed for awakening... Was.... How long had he been wandering around unawakened?! What idiot passed him by?! That was it! She was bringing Sandalwood with her for patrols!

Miss Kitty was irritated, but she wanted to soothe first, though once she felt the man move, she moved, stepping away to let him up before shooting Hyakutake a meaningful look. She needed to work, without a corrupt seeing, and after sure Hyakutake made eye contact she looked at the man trying to sort things out and dug deep to do her best cat.

"Miiiiiiaaaaaaaoooooouuuuuuuuuu." It was the most pathetic meowl, sort of like some male cats she knew when talking (whining) or demanding attention.

Leslie stared at the little cat, briefly looking to turn in quiet confusion before another meow caught his attention. He was... So confused. What... What was going on? All he'd meant to do was buy groceries, treat his son to some macaroni and cheese when he was home from Mommy's, he was...

"Miiiiiaaaaaaaaaooooooouuuuuuuuuuwwwrrrr?" The little kitty bat at his sock and moved away, and hesitatingly, he stumbled after. He should be calling an ambulance, but... He suspected William would be very mad if he didn't help a kitty cat. His best friend might kick his a** for the misordered priorities, but... He began slowly following the cat, carrying his groceries.

"H....Hey now.... Little kitty-cat.... Come on now.... Come on..."

"Ignorant?! That guy was laid flat on the ground! And I somehow doubt he tried groping you." She put herself between the corrupt and the other two, wincing as she blocked the punch in an awkward way. "Why can't you all just let people go about their nights in peace! People have friends and families to get home to, y'know!" She took a deep breath and tried to kick out, to hopefully knock the other woman off balance. She needed Kitty to just get the dude a liiiiitle further away...Just a little. Good lord, she was definitely not in fighting shape anymore. She needed to fix that later.

Eos Galvus
"Ignorant!" Ferris positively bellowed, moving to grab at Hyakutake with sudden, pure, unbridled rage as she continued. "Ignorant! You're one of those that lies to people and hurts them aren't you?!" Ferris was absolutely not having this basic b***h of a senshi try accusing her of being the villain here; she knew where she stood -- who really cared for her, and it was NOT. HER.

But Ferris could make her regret meddling, and she locked eyes, casting her attack on the other senshi with a look of pure, unbridled rage and hatred for the lying wench before her. Ferris preferred corruption, but this one couldn't be saved.

"Miaou! Miaou!" Miss Kitty continued meowing, partly emulating the chatter some of her cat-siblings gave, and partly keeping the shaken man focused on her as she made sure they weren't followed by Ferris. She just didn't do a lot of awakenings with the enemy chasing her senshi-to-be, and pulling an awakening under fire was far from ideal, but for whatever reason, her stupid little poorly-considered plan was working. So let him chase the nice kitty, a bit longer. A few more steps. A few more feet.

"Mew... miaou mrrrrp mew..."

"Oh my goodness, little one... So talkative... My little boy will adore you... Shhh, it's alright, I'm not... Hmmm..." Leslie considered, following the chattering little abyssinian carefully, moving slowly to be cautious. She seemed to talk, but was she scolding him? The sun must surely be horrible on her in the day, and he considered opening the frozen shrimp he'd bought when she ran down the space between two buildings; a space some three or four large storefronts away.

To an onlooker, he appeared to turn the block, but for a sensible powered, it was safety. Miss Kitty was sensible; once she drew him in far enough, she sized up the area. The Dumpsters were smelly, wanting the trash truck in the morning and it terminated in a brick wall topped in a coil of barbed wire to keep trespassers from scaling it, but Miss Kitty was small enough to avoid sharpened steel; and suddenly she jumped to the dumpster, then at the wall, bouncing off in a little flip before dropping a glittering pen in radiant cool colors as Leslie's feet. The man looked.... Positively startled, backing against the wall in alarm.

"How... How..."

"I don't have time for answers! I need you to humor me -- pick up the pen and say "Pratchett Power, Make up! Explanations can come after -- I don't know if Hyakutake should be alone with that woman!" Miss Kitty was urgent, and Leslie startled, though pleased he didn't seem to be in cardiac arrest. He reached, picking the henshin pen up in his fingers, curious before doing as the Mauvian commanded...

And promptly blinked when he seemed to go through a wardrobe change.

"I-- my goodness... What..." Sailor Pratchett still looked lost, really, before Miss Kitty batted his hem.

"Sailor Pratchett.... That's you. And right before we appeared you were attacked by that whelp that was screaming at my friend. We need to stop the woman... And... And protect my friend, possibly. I promise, you can do it. We'll make it showy, maybe hide your grocery bags on the roof. Pick! Me! Up!" Another batting, and Pratchett did as asked, before swallowing. "Now, jump. It's faster. We get back, then you can drop something witty and hopefully being ganged up on scares her off. Hopefully."

Pratchett... Nodded, not convinced, but moving, carrying bags and Mauvian until he reached what he hoped was the right roof, blinking slowly.
Miss Kitty moved first, jumping from his arms before rushing to the ledge and peering down before disappearing again, looking to him and speaking softly.

"Your audience awaits, Sailor Pratchett... Do have fun with it."

"Now see here-- oh... Very well. I might have some idea, albeit I can not believe I'm doing this." Pratchett groaned, sighing before approaching the ledge himself and feeling a sense of anxiety, peering down before taking...

Quite possibly, in Miss Kitty's book, the most princessy pose possible, and he spoke like a Shakespearean actor, to her utter diusmay.

"Verily, tis my understanding that assault of a lady most uncouth, even by thy demonic standard." A brief half-excited look to Miss Kitty said it all. Did he do good boss?

"....Oh boy, I have people I'm introducing you to later, Sir Ian McKellen...."

"I do no-!" She let out a noise of pain as nostalgia flooded her, memories and longing of something she'd lost, the very thing that had helped drive her out of the city for the last year. A hand clenched over her heart, trying to get a hold of herself, to push through the pain and wistfulness. There was a civilian to protect, and people who expected her home, who cared about her. She couldn't lose to someone who was making her want something she didn't need anymore!

And then there was a new voice, someone she didn't recognize, and she still hurt but maybe help had arrived?

Eos Galvus
Ferris hissed, furiously, looking up before there was suddenly a Mauvian taking a header to attack her face. Ferris screamed angrily, trying to claws the very angry Mauvian off her face. She was vaguely aware there's been another senshi up there, but she'd only seen it around the incoming angry, clawing cat. Part of her wanted to throw the cat into the wall and be done with it, part wondered if she should capture it and present it to a higher up for saving. This needed sorted, she supposed, but before she could the new senshi jumped down -- hiding a slight stumble - before he ran to Hyakutake.

Pratchett decided the little cat was... Very fearless. Dangerously so -- with an easy motion she'd leaps to attack the woman in black before he could act, so, trusting the little kitty he STILL wanted to bring home was mostly okay, he jumped down, moving carefully after he almost tripped, and approached Hyakutake like he approached William when he was scraped or cut -- or his mother -- Pratchett was a gentle soul in truth -- and rest his hands on her. So... The woman in black cast a spell on him? And now this poor woman too, and he moved to hold her up in case she fell, making a soft, soothing 'ssshhh' sound as he tried to be soothing.

"It will pass, my dear, it's alright... Lean if you need to, yes? Don't strain now..." And then he scowled at the woman in black, hissing sharply. "If she's injured so help me...." RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION.

Hyakutake vaguely registered the sound of an angry cat on the corrupt, as the magic started to let go of her, leaving her shaky and trying to breathe. And then there was another person, taller than her, supporting her, talking to her. "I...I'll be fine. Just...just still jet lagged when she hit me with...whatever that was." She took a deep breath, starting to regain herself as her posture turned more defiant towards the corrupt senshi. "You're outnumbered. I suggest, if you value yourself, you leave." Her voice was sharp, and cold...but she was offering the other a retreat. An option to leave. The White Moon weren't the only ones with people to go home to. She would start a fight, but she didn't ever want it to end in lasting harm.

Eos Galvus
Ferris was livid. She just wanted an easy target, and now she had a cat clawing her, and two lunatics to deal with.

Seriously, the man was not worth a spell AND fight, and the corrupt growled, actively throwing Miss Kitty before bolting, disappearing soon enough before Pratchett even offered one hand to catch the poor Mauvian. And once she was gone, he sighed, still bracing Hyakutake before fidgeting.

"Is... Is it... Always so dangerous?" He asked hesitantly. Miss Kitty shook her head to clear it before he pulled her to properly hold in his arm, and the Mauvian settled.

"Sometimes. Oh! Right! Hyakutake, guess what!" Miss Kitty was positively purring, and didn't mind the save... Or attention. "We get to walk our friend home. And I need to start bringing Bitchkitty with me places, because frankly I think her uh. Claws would be very helpful on the patrol. Like... Tonight. Oh!" Another ear-flick. "This is Sailor Pratchett."

"Er... It's nice to meet you, ma'am. Are you sure you're alright? She got me too -- that spell isn't pleasant." Pratchett fussed! He did!

Hyakutake let out a shaky breath of relief, going a little limp against the new senshi. "Unfortunately, Destiny City has ended up with a reputation of danger for a reason." She looked up at the man, smiling slightly. "A pleasure to meet you, Pratchett. I'm Sailor Hyakutake. And I'll be fine. She just...brought up some memories I'd rather leave behind. But yeah! Let's get you home. Miss Kitty and I can teach you about being a senshi while we walk!" She looked to the cat, curious. "Did he get his phone, too? So he can access all the nifty little bits and bobs and the primer Athene and them made?"

Eos Galvus
"....I had to lead him away, and get you backup. No." Miss Kitty huffed. "But yeah I can do the flip phone once he's... Wherever he lives."

Pratchett didn't miss the Mauvian's tone -- it was the sort of tone the technologically-disinclined had when forced to deal with something they weren't exactly good with, but he smiled.

"I'll just gather my groceries, then, Miss Hyakutake. A moment." And off to the roof he went for things, nearly tripping. Again.
