Her husband had been acting weird lately. Paying more attention to where she was and what she was doing. It left precious little time for her to spend with her.. lover? Is that what she should call Thallassa? He certainly fit the role but for some reason Terrwyn thought he was more than that. Or should be. She talked with him more than anyone else. Cept for Kise but that man didn't count, he'd been with her since she was seven and was the best guard a girl could ask for.
Thankfully she'd gotten away from her husband for the day and was all set to see Thal. She was pointedly ignoring the bout of nausea she felt and pushed it off as her nerves. It had been a few days since she'd last seen the man so perhaps she was just giddy? Whatever it was it wasn't going to stop her.
Kise of course kept his eyes on his mistress the entire time, noticing how she'd been acting different since the beginning of the week.

Thal 1 Thal was waiting at the appointed spot, his body shot through with adrenaline as it always was when he was about to see Terr. She was scintilating by herself but the added threat of danger seemed to make it all the sweeter...maybe everyone in their family really was the same. He saw them crest a ridge and straightened up. "Hello there, no trouble I trust?"

Terrwyn smiled when she saw Thal, a definite improvement to her usual scowl or frown. At his question she shook her head slowly but did draw her brows together. "M'no, but I think he knows something. Or suspects." She thought about how Finley was acting and it made her wonder a little more. Kise sighed a bit and nodded in agreement. "I would say he's suspicious at the very least." Terr snorted but moved so that she could claim a hug from Thal. Snaking her arms around him and letting her face burry against his shoulder.

Despite the disturbing news he sighed a sigh of pure relief when she touched him. He took it as great pride that she was willing to come near a man at all but was exceptionally happy that it was him. He would disembowel anyone else who tried to touch her without her consent but she didn't need to know how scary he could be. Not yet. Only when she was ready or it was needed to protect her. It would always be for a good reason only. He only felt whole now when she was around, like she had a rather large fragment of his soul tucked behind her smile..the smile reserved for him. "Well he is not completely stupid and it is somewhat hard to hide when your soul is happy for the first time ever." He wrapped his own arms around her and let her listen to his heart race at her touch alone. "I missed you." He smiled at Kise over her head, thanking the man with his eyes for being with her constantly where he could not be.

She sometimes doubted that the man she was made to marry wasn't an idiot. Not that Terrwyn particularly cared. As she was hugged back she relaxed a bit more and closed her eyes, swaying on her feet a little as another wave of nausea hit. She made a small noise then moved so she could hide her face against Thal's neck, taking in his scent. It was calming. "Missed you too." Kise looked worried at Terrwyn as he saw her sway a little. When he looked back up at Thal he gave a light nod and a smile of his own.

He felt her sway. "Are you okay? Do you want to sit down?" He paused and picked her up instead. There now he could continue touching her. He squinted at her..looking for the reason. "Did you perhaps eat something bad?" He looked at Kise for help.

Being picked up was not what she was expecting to happen. Terrwyn just looked at Thallassa with a slow blink. "M'fine. Just feel a little off." Maybe she did eat something bad. Could it be that her husband poisoned her? No, he wouldn't do that until she gave him the heir he wanted so badly. So she shook her head and moved her arms so that they were around his neck instead. Kise chuckled a little at Thal's antics. "Miss Terrwyn hasn't felt good all week. Some minor bouts of nausea and occasional stomach cramping. She's to see the healer in two days." He had an idea of what it was but didn't want to say anything.

Thal looked sharply at Kise, asking with his eyes what they were both now thinking but obviously if the man suspected and hadn't told Terr than perhaps it was best for them to keep it quiet until it was confirmed. It wouldn't do to upset her prematurely. He held her with one arm and wrangled a water canteen for her.

Kise gave a slight nod to the questioning look. The guard certainly suspected that Terrwyn was carrying. They just needed to confirm it and then it was a question of who the father was since her husband still tried to have an heir. Terrwyn rested her head against Thal again as she took a deep breath. "Its fine, it only lasts for a few minutes and then goes away." She did wonder if maybe it was the Oban heat or something. She'd been fine before though.

"Prolongued heat exposure does that, my Father went through something similar when he moved to Oba. You have to eat enough salt and take shade when your body needs it. Why he chose Oba of all places as an iceling I will never know but it burned all the baby fat and naivity off of him so there is that. Sort of like a forge out here I guess."
He would prefer that the heat be attacking him and not her though. If it was the heat.

Kise just gave Thal a look. They'd been to Oba before and Terrwyn had been fine. The fact that her sickness had started after spending nights with Thal was more telling, but the man didn't say anything. Terrwyn on the other hand snorted. "Jauhar would have worked just as good for heat." If Thal's dad wanted the head then the humid jungle would have been fine, right? When he asked her what she wanted to do she shrugged her shoulders a little. "Can't go hunting like this. So maybe just star gazing tonight? I know its not as exciting.." But it would give her time to relax while also spending time with him.

"I'm pretty sure that the humidity would have gotten Dad in Jauhar." He knew what Kise was saying, he just didn't want to freak her out pre finding out for sure. He crossed his eyes at the man. "Star gazing is just as exciting if its you." He let her slid slowly down his front. "If you still feel icky, I can pick you up again." He liked it. Her arms wrapping around his neck. "We have a blanket. Come here Myr, greet your mistress and give us your pack."

The thought of an Icling in Jauhar with the humidity was amusing to say the least. As she was set back down she let her arms fall away from his neck. "You are aware that I am capable of standing on my own, right?" Terrwyn was mostly amused by the fact that he seemed to want to hold her. Her tone was more teasing than upset. Her eyes moved to find Myr. A smile spread over her lips at being called the beasts mistress. It also made her feel selfish. To get to claim so much from others.

"Thats why I gave you the chance to be on the ground again." He winked at her. He got the blanket from Myr who nosed his Mistress up and down before biting Thal on the butt and grunting. He knew exactly what was going on. He could smell the change in her scent. He proceeded to shove himself between them as was typical with his sassy attitude. He loved both of his Masters and loved to pique Thal most of all while he doted on Terr. "Traitorous lizard. You can be her back rest brat but she cuddles ME you hear." he patted the beast trying to calm him down before he let the perzi out of the sack. Terr was intelligent and she would figure it out with all the boys here acting cryptically with nips and poignant stares.

An eyeroll was his answer to the wink, though she did have a cute color reaching her cheeks. Terr chuckled at Myr but when Thal insisted that she would be cuddling him and not the beast she smirked at him. "Oh?" Instantly she put her arms around Myr and snuggled into him. "I think Myr can stargaze with me." Of course now she was being just as much of a brat. It hadn't gone unnoticed that they were acting weird around her but she was trying to ignore it. Mostly because she had her own fears surrounding the whole thing.
