Danalite sat on the edge of a fountain in one of her favorite parks, scrolling through her tablet, and with a soft hum of what might have been amusement, typed out a message.
Quote: Dear Captain Marialite, I hope this finds you well and I apologize for the seemingly random message, but I was wondering if you would like a friendly spar, I have the need and desire to grow stronger, and you seem like just the person who could assist me on that front. I’m at the fountain in East Central Park, and I do hope to see you soon~ Love, Danalite
She grinned wolfishly and sent the message, leaning back and relaxing somewhat. Marialite was going to find out that she corrupted sooner or later, and better it be told to her by design than her finding it out through the grapevine. Besides, this would be a wonderful surprise, and there was nobody better to teach her how to best hold her new dagger. How to best use it to her own advantage.
…Now, if her dear friend didn’t show up…well. Danalite would be rather unhappy but…she knew Maria better than that, and she knew that she would want to know just who it was that was messaging her with such familiarity.

Marialite frowned at the message on her tablet. She wracked her memory, trying to call up the name Danalite-- any shred, any scattered bit of an idea of who that was, and who they might be to be messaging her in such a.....casual, almost intimate fashion.
Who could she know that would send her this kind of message
At least she knew the location, and so she appeared there, frowning, communicator in its pen shape in her hand as she tapped it against her cheek.
But it only took her a moment to recognize the figure sitting by the fountain. That beautiful hair--utterly unmistakable.
"Dinara?" Her gasp was delighted, and she bounced onto her toes. "No, no, it's Danalite now, I guess? Oh my gosh, you look gorgeous!!"

When Danalite saw Marialite, a grin spread across her face and she hopped off of the edge of the fountain, leaping at the other Captain and pressing their lips together with an utterly giddy laugh. “It’s me! Are you happy? Are you surprised? I’m so happy to be home. And to be with you again! My Kanan came back, only his name is Mourite, and I was able to corrupt, on Marialite, I’m so happy with absolutely everything, and seeing you…”
She drew away slightly, gazing at her friend, at the most beautiful woman in the world. “I’m not weak anymore, that’s my favorite part of all of this, I think.”
And in saying so, she summoned her dagger, holding it up with a grin that threatened to split her face in two.
“I’m going to be the very best Captain that the Negaverse has ever had. Just you wait and see!”

Marilaite slung her arms around Danalite's waist, pulling her close and grinning into the kiss. Yes, this was right, this was exactly what she'd longed for and worked for.
And oh, Danalite was so achingly beautiful.
"We need to introduce you to Galaxite," she said, smiling broadly."Ugh, I'm so happy, look at you, you look amazing! And look at that weapon! No more stupid bottles of glitter for you, beautiful."
She giggled. Leaned in. Stole another kiss.
"I can't wait to see how good you are," she said, and then she moved back, albeit a bit reluctantly, and summoned her own daggers to hand, twirling one between her fingers.
"You said you wanted to spar? Come on, I want you to show me what you can do!"

Danalite couldn’t stop beaming, and nodded, eager and excited to show off in front of Marialite. She wanted the other Captain to like her. Love her.
She sighed softly and drew away, mostly unwilling, for she wished that the kisses could simply continue forever but. She had been the one to ask for a spar…and afterwards…
“Maybe I could come spend the night with you if you’re interested? I’d invite you to my place, but I live with my siblings. They’re both part of the Dark Mirrors…and honestly, I think if I brought home a pretty girl, my brother’s head would explode. I’m the baby, you know so the fact that I have multiple partners…might be too much for him, the sweetheart.”
Her eyes were on her dagger, proud of it, and when she suddenly made for Marialite, the silver glinting in the light from the streetlamps, she let out a laugh, utterly exhilarated. “God this is so much better than glitter.”

Ah, it was so nice to see how much happier Danalite seemed. She didn't have to be alone or afraid anymore, and that was a truly magical thing. It made her look so bright, and lovely, and....
Marialite just liked how joy looked on the people she loved, alright? And that joy usually happened to be colored black.
"That sounds perfect," she said. And like what Danalite deserved--to get to come home with her, and see Cale, and Gala, and maybe....well, that would be figured out once they were all there. "I wanna meet your siblings eventually, though. Seems right, and whatever." She laughed. "I'm glad you got to keep them."
Danalite came at her, and Marialite brought up both her daggers, crossed, to catch the blade. "Nice!" She said, and then she twisted her grip on the two blades, trying to yank the knife out of Danalite's hands.

Danalite laughed brightly, twisting and spinning, clutching her tagger tightly before trying again, though this time, working to knock the hilt of her tagger on Marialite’s wrist, hoping that she would drop one of her own.
She obviously didn’t want to hurt her girlfriend but…this was fun. Not having to hold back, not having to worry, not having to be afraid.
“My god, Maria. I missed you so much. This is the best night ever…apart from my corruption, of course!” Though…if things continued to go this well, she wondered if it would get better than her corruption. With Marialite being beside her and spending the night with the Captain…well.
Truthfully anything was possible.
“First one to lose their weapon loses, darling. But just think, the sooner you do, the sooner we can get back to kissing~”

Oh, this was so much fun. It felt electric, to dance with her, the clash of blades sparkling in the night. And maybe Danalite's wasn't as sparkly as hers, but that didn't mean it wasn't beautiful in its own way.
This little dance had her energized, heart pounding, eyes shining with eagerness. Sure, the blow to her wrist hurt, but she shifted her grip to try and get a better hold on her daggers and grounded her feet on the floor, heart pounding.
"I wish I could have been there," she said, "but getitng to see you after is just as good." And she'd have to make up for her absence. Make sure Danalite really got welcomed into the Negaverse.
"Oh, baby, I'm not going to just give in," she said, "no matter how much I want to get back to the kissing." She leaned her weight in, hoping to knock Danalite a little off-balance so she could try another maneuver to wrench that dagger out of her hands. A victory she just rolled over and gave was barely a victory at all, after all! And Danalite deserved better than that from her!

Well, that was fair, and Danalite couldn’t really blame her for not just letting her have the easy win, but it was worth a try, at least. But…the other Captain’s lips were dizzyingly perfect, and when she felt Marialite leaning in, she allowed herself to fall off balance, the dagger slipping from her grasp. She didn't like the fact that it fell right towards Marialite’s leg, and when she saw the tip of it slice into the long outer skirt she wore, she swiftly banished the weapon, tugging the skirt away from Maria’s leg, inspecting to make sure the other woman wasn’t actually hurt.
“s**t. I give in, are you okay? It didn’t actually hurt you, right? Sorry about your skirt but…”
Hesitating for a moment, Danalite looked almost as shy as Dinara had, but the look was replaced by a sultry, impish one. “...But it’ll get fixed by the next time we power up. Besides. The look is good on you.”

A knife slicing her skirt. Marialite couldn't help a little girlish giggle. It felt like....well, it felt like a trope in an erotic novel, and the thought of it made her cheeks heat up. And then, Danalite was on her knees, checking Marialite's thigh....
"Can we call it a tie?" She asked. "I'm fine, but I think we're going to need to go home a little early."
.....She couldn't help herself. Especially when Dinara looked up at her with that impish little grin.
"I think," she said, "you did the outfit a favor. It looks nice, a little shredded. Sexy. Dangerous."

Danalite laughed and nodded. “A tie it is, then. Come, Marialite. Take me home, finally. Show me just how much you’ve missed me~”
She stood and pushed herself into Marialite’s arms, kissing her cheek. “Show me just how happy you are to have me back and on the right side. Convince me that it was the right choice…not that it’s going to be difficult to do~”
