Terrwyn had been given no other choice but to accompany her new husband to Oba. While he was there for business he had said it could second as their Honeymoon trip. Currently he was busy so she was out shopping. Kinda.

He had told her to go shopping for something nice to spoil herself with and she had rolled her eyes at him. Of course that had gotten her a backhand to the face that left a fat lip in its wake. The leafling walked with Kise not too far behind her as he wore a frown on his face. She knew he felt bad as her guard that he couldn't protect her from that.

As she walked along she tried to think of all the ways she could get back at her husband for putting his hands on her. Terrwyn wasn't particularly violent unless provoked so she wasn't thinking about giving him a beating but she could prove a point at least. Her left hand came up to gently touch her lip before coming away to make sure there was no blood to be found. At least her lip hadn't split open.

She had passed by the stalls and vendors that held the trinkets that would appeal to young ladies and was venturing into more household goods and foods. The smell of something cooking caught her attention and made her stomach growl a little. Kise heard it and moved up beside her to speak softly.

"Are you hungry Miss Terrwyn? We have plenty of time." He tried to convince her to eat by saying they had time.

She knew what her guard was doing, he'd been with her since she was young. Still, she had to admit something warm and tasty would be nice. So she nodded and motioned to where she wanted to go. The food on display looked interesting. As her hand fell back to her side she led the way, expecting him to follow along as usual. When she was close enough she paused at the side of another customer and looked over her selection.

The voice at her side made her turn her head to look at the man. A slight shake of her head was the only answer he got before she went still. He'd seen her lip and commented on it. Of course his response to it made her lips twitch into a smile. "Is a wife supposed to hit their husband?" She figured she better be cautious with her own reply just in case.

"As for what to eat, afraid I don't know. I'm new to the area." And that was the truth. She had been to Oba before but not this particular city.

Kise kept a close eye on the man just in case but otherwise made no move.

She couldn't argue with him there. "He doesn't deserve me anyways." She said lowly. Terrwyn wasn't so worried about the man hearing her, she was sure he wouldn't since he'd turned his attention to get food. When he ended up getting some for her and Kise as well she was a bit shocked. "Oh, you didn't have to.."

"Miss Terrwyn, it's alright." Kise interrupted her, a smile on his face. He was rather pleased to see his mistress being treated so nicely after the morning she'd had. "Thank you sir."

Terrwyn looked at Kise before sighing and shaking her head at him. Her attention was given back to the kind gentleman that had bought them food before she smiled at him softly to avoid hurting her lip. "I don't think you can turn green with that complexion." The leafling gently pointed out.

Kise shook the man's hand and bowed his head before he became quiet to eat the food he was given. Of course he still watched their interaction.

Terrwyn blinked, surprised that the man had heard her earlier words, and blushed a little. To keep from looking too shocked she took a bite of her food and looked at the ground. Oops. When he suggested disappearing she took the time to finish the food in her mouth because although she loved to go hunting and camping she was still a lady. "If I disappear then that means leaving my family as well. Having him disappear would raise suspicions and my family name would be tarnished. Arrange marriages are complicated." Normally she didn't talk about things like this but oddly this stranger didn't seem like a threat. She was in a different territory speaking with someone who seemed as though he too was from somewhere else and she was sure he'd not come into contact with anyone she knew so there was no harm.

She took the card and looked at it for a silent moment. "My life isn't in danger. At least not at the moment. He wants an heir and he can't get that if I'm dead or severely injured." Terrwyn knew that and that was why she pushed her limits sometimes. Of course she also knew she'd face the consequences somehow.

"I was tempted to have an affair so that the child wouldn't be his." Again, a slip of the tongue said under her breath, not really meant for him to hear. But it seemed he had good hearing.

She tucked the card away and took another bite of her food to keep her mouth busy.

Level the playing field. Now there was a thought.

Terrwyn took another bite, mulling over her thoughts. She knew what she had in mind was definitely taboo. Of course her own father had taken several mistresses over the years, that was how she came to be after all. When she swallowed that bite down she looked at the man in front of her before speaking. "Would you help me level the playing field? Would you give me a child that isn't his" It would be something she could control in the whole situation. At least partly.

Kise heard his mistress ask the question and choked on the bite of food in his mouth, ending in a coughing fit. Wide eyes stared at Terrwyn then went toward the man she had just asked such an inappropriate question to.
