If Leona were being honest with herself, she hadn’t really believed the lies she had used to rationalize the night she had become a part of the Dark Mirror Court, but…it had been easy to pretend that it had been a dream. The fact that she was magic, and had met a fantastic, beautiful talking cat and that with her help and the help of Elsa she had been reborn on the other side of a mirror just seemed far too…fantastical to be real.
And yet.
The henshin pen was right where she had left it, in the bottom drawer of her bedside table, wrapped in a sock.
And here she was, walking through the night, half excited and half worrying that perhaps this was nothing more than a delusion and when she woke up again, perhaps checking herself into a mental facility would be the best thing to do. For both her and everyone involved but…
If she could find a way to prove this was real…well then. That would be a whole different story.
The feeling of another aura…for that had been what Soyala had called it, got her attention and with a moment’s hesitation, Leona made her way over to whoever or…ah. Whatever it was.
When she saw it was another girl, who looked to be somewhat around her own age, there was a lightening of Leona’s mood and she chewed her lip before walking over. “Um…Hey! I…You…Are you real? Or are you part of my mental break, do you think?”

Ariadne was getting used to random encounters that were, perhaps, a little odd, but the question this new Dark Mirror opened with....well. Definitely the weirdest thing she could ever remember being asked. It took her aback for a moment, and she could only blink in confusion in response.
"I'm....pretty sure I'm real?" She said, and she frowned, thoughtfully, for a moment. "Uh, I'm Sailor Ariadne, Senshi of Mourningbrides--do you know what those are? Because if not, I don't think your brain could make me up, right?" That seemed like a good way to prove that she was real. Since apparently, that was in question.
"What, uh, makes you think I might not be?" Was she new, maybe? Magic certainly could seem like something crazy, and so if that was the answer.....Ariadne kinda got it, she guessed.

“There’s a very easy way to figure out if you’re real or not. If I give you my number and you call me tomorrow morning and we go and get coffee or tea or whatever, and you pinch me, then obviously that will be proof that I’m awake, and this was real, and yes I do indeed have magic.” It sounded simple to Leona, at least…but then she paused, wrinkling her nose. “...Wow. That really makes it sound like I’m asking you on a date, and that wasn’t my intention, but I won’t lie, suspicious me is kind of pleased with how it worked out.”
She shook her head and sighed. “Nope. I think maybe a type of flower? But I’m a candy girl, not a flower girl, but you’re very pretty, so I’m going to go on a limb and assume that they have to be at least half as pretty as you so.” Leona shrugged and held out a hand. “I’m Leona of Cryoseism, which I did look up after the whole thing happened, and it’s like…glacial earthquakes. Or earthquakes caused by ice and not tectonic plates? And honestly, that’s not something I would have made up, but it sounds super cool so, I’m not mad about it.”

Ariadne blinked. Well, that was a pretty straightforward offer....and it made her crack a smile. This was now the second time someone besides Misha had sort of hit on her while she was powered up, and she was beginning to get the impression that her outfit made her kind of a babe. And sure, okay, this other girl was saying it wasn't supposed to be a date, but she was still flattered by the whole thing.
"You know what? That sounds great. Give me your number and I'll call you in the morning. When do you usually wake up? I'm a pretty early riser, so I'd hate to call too early." Seemed rude. "But I'm usually done with my morning exercises by nine, so....any time after that that'd be good to call you?"
She could work out at the rink and meet a pretty girl after. That sounded like a pretty ideal day, actually.
"Ding ding though, they are flowers. Very pretty ones, at that." She laughed. "It's nice to meet you, Leona. And I think glacier-quakes sounds way cooler than plain old flowers, even really fancy ones like I get, but that's just me."

Leona grinned and rattled off her number to Aridne, nodding and waving a hand. “Whatever time you feel like getting in touch is fine. If I have to wake up earlier than normal, that’s fine.I really don’t mind all that much. She sighed and looked up at the sky for a moment, trying to plan what her reaction would be if she did indeed find out that this was all real.
It was too much to really contemplate, truth be told.
“You’re right though, glacierquakes are cooler…since. They’re made of ice.” She let her gaze move from the sky back to Ariadne and shrugged, giving a slightly apologetic smile. “...Get it? Ba dum tss.”
If it wasn’t real, then bad jokes could have no damage what so ever on her newfound friendship with this girl. And if it was….well.

Ariadne repeated the phone number, committing it to memory. "Alright, I'll call you around nine, then, and we can make some plans." It sounded really enjoyable, honestly, and like it was going to be a good time. And anyway, she needed more friends. In the Court and in general. So much of her life was eaten up by skating, and ballet, and college....she had to carve out some space to just....be a person.
The joke, though, made her giggle. She couldn't help herself--it was stupid, but she loved it. And a dumb pun was honestly always sort of a good time.
"True! They are pretty cool, " she said, and she winked. It was dumb, but delightful. "So, we'll meet again tomorrow morning, and I'll prove to you that all of this is real!"
It was easy. Straightforward. She just had to...actually make time to show up, and then she would get to demonstrate to someone else that magic was unquestionably real. That was an incredibly exciting prospect--and she wasn't even Eternal like her sister yet, to bring people into the Court!
