She had talked with Anella, that much she remembered. And had been…rather drunk when she had. But Tortali wasn’t drunk now, and as she headed towards the chaos aura, ready to mess up whoever it was, she was trying to remember just what was said.
Anella might have called her silly, or expressed annoyance at the Negaverse, both which…could be true. But.
That didn’t mean they had to be said...the fact that Tortali was silly should be kept to herself.
The aura didn’t feel like that of someone in the Negaverse, and that was why she was moving swiftly to find out just what it belonged to, and when the senshi came into view, Tortali paused, tilting her head and taking in the outfit.
She didn’t feel like a negaverse senshi…nor did she sport the holes that those unfortunates had…but. The overlay that fell to her waist…
Oh. That redheaded b***h from years ago. Anger suddenly sparked inside of Tortali and she smirked. “You’re one of those, huh? Don’t remember what you’re called, but I’ve met one of you all before. Didn’t like her, and I know I won’t like you, either.”
Sprinting towards the senshi, Tortali drew back her arm and punched.
…Hopefully the chaos would come out!

Ariadne wasn't exactly used to just being...randomly attacked, but apparently this was another time it was going to happen. The sharp words form a Senshi she didn't know made her blink in confusion, and she was rooted in place even as the punch was incoming.
It did not knock the Chaos out of her, but it did hit her in the face and make her stumble backwards, rubbing at her cheek and glaring.
"What the ******** is wrong with you?" She demanded, and she reached up to rub her cheek, shaking her head a little. "Do you just attack random people all the time? Ugh, all you people in white are crazy, aren't you?"
She held out her hand,s and called on her magic, letting the ethereal mourningbride flower bloom in her hands. And she hoped that it worked this time, too.Quote: Sailor Ariadne cups her hands in front of her and speaks the name of her attack, and a spectral mourningbride flower appears in her hands. She offers it to a target, and they feel a mild compulsion to take it. If they do, they will find themselves feeling attached to Ariadne and wanting to please her, even to their detriment. It is possible to resist this compulsion, but fighting it will cause the target to feel a physical ache in their chest. This effect lasts for 25 seconds. Ariadne can use this attack three times per battle.

Tortali was again disappointed by the fact that her punches didn’t do exactly what she wanted them too, and she opened her mouth to speak. To taunt the senshi to–
Her eyes landed on the outstretched flower and she frowned slightly. A peace offering? Or…was this a trick? It had to be magic, that much was obvious, but…
Now that she had seen the beautiful flower she couldn’t help but reach out and take it, holding it close to her chest when she did.
Ah…it…yeah. This had to be magic. But that was all right. She had been in the wrong, attacking this senshi with no provocation wasn’t…the best way to live one’s life. “I apologize…I was simply trying to help you. I want to help you get out of the hold of chaos…”
Her voice was tinged with a slight awe and Tortali moved a little closer to the senshi…the entirely lovely senshi. “I didn’t mean to hurt you…are you all right?”

Ariadne let out a breath of relief. Good, her magic was working--she just had to hope that when it wore off, it didn't make things worse. She put on her best smile-for-the-cameras expression, the one she'd practiced in a mirror a million time for figure skating competition wins, and nodded.
"It's okay, but I don't think that's how that works," she said. "I think my si--uh, another one of the Senshi in the Court told me it needed a Princess, or something?" This woman, who attacked on sight just because she was in black, didn't need to know that Ariadne had a sibling who was also a Dark Mirror.
She rubbed at her cheek, and fake-pouted a little.
"That really hurt, though. You shouldn't just punch people, not everybody is as forgiving as I am when they get assaulted at random."

Tortali continued to hold the flowers against her chest, proud of them. Proud of them being given to her. The fact that this was magic had completely left her mind, and she moved closer to the Dark Mirror Senshi and reached out to gently stroke her cheek instead. “...I’m so sorry. I’ll do anything to make it up to you…you’re right. I shouldn’t just attack people…it is dangerous, isn’t it?”
It was…but at the same time…it was worth it…Chaos needed to be eradicated and…
She frowned slightly and rubbed at her eyes, the flowers beginning to fade as the magic drew to an end.
“You…should leave it though. It’ll..only end up destroying you. Chaos isn’t…great. And you…” The frown deepened as Tortali looked at the Dark Mirror Senshi, confusion and doubt beginning to cross her features. “You…deserve things that are…great?” An obvious question. Something was wrong, but for the life of her, she couldn't put her finger on it at all.

It took everything in Ariadne not to flinch away from the hand on her cheek. The way magic made people react to her made her cringe, sometimes, but in situations like this it was terribly useful. After all, the other Senshi wasn't aggressive towards her anymore, and that was what mattered. She was safe, and she was going to avoid getting hit again.
Hopefully.
"It's very dangerous, and I'd hate for you to get hurt by someone who takes it poorly," Ariadne said gently, and she hoped that maybe her advice stuck, because....well, it would mean less people on her side got punched.
"I've thought about leaving," she admitted. "Maybe eventually. But I have people I have to look after, before I can even think about going." The magic seemed to be wearing off. She hoped that it didn't make this woman angry, or anything like that.

Tortali paused when the senshi mentioned that she had thought about leaving, and she smiled brightly, even as the magic faded completely, leaving a slightly lost expression in her eyes as she grappled with the shift in emotions. But…she couldn't be angry if the girl had thought about leaving. Well, she could be angry but she shouldn’t.
Instead, Tortali took a few steps backwards and drew in a breath, trying to force herself to calm. “I hope that you can find a way to help those you have to look after, and I hope that you can find your way out. You deserve freedom. Being bound by chaos..seems as though it would be utterly and completely exhausting…and I’m sorry that you have to go through that. If…you do ever leave. If you manage to find our way out of the darkness, I would like to be your friend.”
Until then…well. “I promise that if we meet again I won’t just…punch you out of the gate. Unless I see you doing something unsavory and you deserve it. But.” She managed a grin, feeling more relaxed with the slight joke and after drawing in another deep breath turned away from the Dark Mirror senshi. “I’m leaving. On the best kind of note that I can, but. I know my temper can get out of control sometimes so just…know that if I can help you get out, I will. I promise.”
With that, she hurried off, unwilling to make things any more awkward than they were, and unwilling to allow herself the opportunity to punch the girl again.

The way that Tortasli talked aobut Chaos....it made Ariadne sick. Because that wasn't how she felt. She didn't fele bound, or tied down, or imprisoned--she felt perfectly happy and perfectly free. But she bit back her criticisms, bit back her sharp words, and folded her hands behind her back, smiling as if nothing could ever possibly be wrong in this, the most ideal of all possible worlds.
"I appreciate your concern, I really do. And if I ever do change my mind, and want to get out, I'll come find you." She reached down, picked up her skirt, curtsied politely.
"And please don't punch any of my friends, either!" She called, as she turned to leave herself. "I promise, the Court really isn't up to anything nefarious! Not like the Negaverse!"
With that, she turned to bolt--better not to give this woman a chance to change her mind.
Ugh, her face was going to bruise. That was going to be hell to cover with makeup.
