Honi stood at her stall, the table empty of products today. She wasn't here to sell anything, though it did feel strange to be there without her crafts. Eliazer had asked her to show him around, and she was truthfully excited to see him again. Perhaps it was because he was so exotic and unique, but she was eager to learn more about the silent young man.
Her craft wouldn't be completely ignored though. She had definitely heard about the girl in a nearby town who had found a fair wealth of gems in the river. Now, everyone was looking to find their own treasure trove. Honi was one of those hopefuls, and was sure her company for the day would be at least interested in seeking extra funding for his trip. He had come a long way after all!

2 - 10: Something Shiny That looks promising... Use the second roll to calculate your results.
11 - 15: Golden Treasure! Gold, and a good amount! It's not a bar or anything, but you could use it to make some jewelry.
Eliazer looked worse for wear under the morning light. His skin was bruised, particularly along the left side of his jaw, and the young Geian had a noticeable limp. His bounty hadn't come along easily so he'd had to be a little trickier about getting the man ready for transport. Honestly, after the way things had gone and seeing as he hadn't even gotten back to his room until after the sun had risen he'd debated on coming. Surely she would have understood? Maybe he could have sent a note or something... It just...didn't settle well with him. A lifetime of being around his disappointment of a father made him reluctant to inconvenience anyone, women least of all. Plus, she'd been kind to him and he was eager to spend time with her. Eliazer made his way gingerly toward her stall and upon arrival he raised his hand to wave.

6 - 10: A Little Silver Silver is nice, it can be shaped to jewelry or traded for something more. It's not a lot, but it's worth something.Honi was busy laying out the path they might take in her mind. After all, this was still supposed to be a tour. She was just going to sneak in the treasure hunting on the side was all! Would it be better to start at the river and get it out of the way, or maybe leaving it until the end would be best? A waving hand caught her attention. An excited smile rose immediately, but it quickly morphed into a concerned "o" of shock. "You look awful," she gasped without thinking. Despite her words, she rushed forward to look him over closer. Only when she reached a hand up to touch his jaw did she catch herself, her fingers pausing a few inches away from the swelling before they pulled back. He would probably be less than pleased to have someone he just met poking at his injuries. She was too used to interacting with her rambunctious family... "Sorry, I mean, I'm glad to see you, but.. are you okay?" He looked like he should have been taking an ice bath and a nap rather than walking around out there with her!

Ah, well, she wasn't wrong. It was disappointing to see the way her bright smile had shifted, but Eliazer wasn't a fool. He knew he must look like he'd just crawled from a fresh grave; he certainly felt that way. Unconsciously he sighed 'Thank You' before realizing she wouldn't understand it. So, instead, he sighed and raised a hand to his head as if he were tipping a hat to her. When he opened his eyes her hand was very close to touching him and those same light orbs widened. Was she-? Ah, no, Honi was pulling away and his cheeks felt warmer than ever. For a moment all he could do was awkwardly gawk at her, as if the thought of anyone being that close to him were strange, before embarrassment kicked in. Eliazer ducked his head and pulled out the notebook. I wasn't truthful last night. The man I was looking for wasn't a friend; he was a bounty. I came here to bring him back to Belrea. Sorry for lying; had to be careful.

Honi chewed on her lip, worried that perhaps she had been too forward and he would just turn around. Still, she couldn't help continuing her inspection. He could have fallen down a rocky cliffside for all she knew! Ah, there was the notebook. AS she read, her eyes narrowed and her chin stuck out with irritation. Lying to her at their first meeting?! "Eliazer!" she huffed, hands on her hips firmly. "If you weren't so bruised up already, I'd probably sock your arm myself. ...but I get it." Her posture relaxed a little, but she was still miffed at the deception and was fine letting him know it. "So, you.. you hunt people down? That's your job?" That was surprisingly intense for what she had thought. She couldn't imagine how careful he had to be with what information he gave out just to get around. Was.. was it safe with him? "And, you took care of it already? He's not gonna come try to find you or something?"

He would have deserved it too. Still, there was that crooked grin that showed he really wasn't sorry at all. Work was work, and Eliazer was being truthful now when everyone was safe so that was about as good as it was likely to get. Taking back the book for a moment, he made another note; You look like a bird when you're mad. And to add emphasis he tacked on, You get huffy. It was kind of cute, but he was likely to get smacked for real if he said it. He's with the village guard until I leave tomorrow. I have everything taken care of. The man would have to be far more skilled than he actually was to break out and even then Eliazer would just hunt him again. He didn't have to bring him back with air in his lungs. It's okay if you want me to leave.

Honi's expression went flat for a brief moment before she burst out laughing. "A bird? I'm not sure if that's a compliment or an insult!" She pointed a finger at his chest with a playful threat. "It better be a compliment, or I really will add one more bruise to your collection." With the city guard. That was reassuring. Still, to be spending time with someone who hunts people... Of course, any wanted posters were for bad people. Those were the bounties that hunters went for. "Well.. no.. I don't really want you to leave," she murmured bashfully. Maybe she should, but- "I did promise to show you around. As long as you're sure no crazy angry guy is gonna come finish beating you up."

Eliazer held up his hands in a mock defensive gesture, but even then he couldn't stop grinning. She really was a spitfire, wasn't she? A girl with a spine; it hadn't exactly been his first impression of her, but he liked what he was seeing. Lifting his notebook, he scratched out, "Lead the way" Originally the offer of being shown around had only been a pretense; something nice to keep her talking to him, but now Eliazer wouldn't mind it. He doubted he'd remember any of the locations, though memories of a pretty girl in a distant land might stick around longer.

After a pause of contemplation, Honi nodded and spun on her heel. "Okay. We'll start on one end and work our way to the other." She peeked over her shoulder and smiled warmly. "Unless you feel like you need to stop sooner to rest up. Maybe we'll start easy and see the river?" Now her smile turned a little playful, wondering if her next words would catch his interest. "I heard someone found some gemstones at the river recently. I thought we could look around while we were there today~"

Eliazer nodded his head with a tired smile. Stopping by the river was the cheaters way of things, but he didn't much care. Maybe after taking it easier to begin with he'd get the gumption to on more of an exploration before leaving town? Gemstones, huh? Well now that had his interest. Eliazer was always eager to make a quick cash grab through mostly legal means. His eyes widened with interest and he moved forward, crouching some so he could dig his notebook back out and writing to her as they walked. They're not fakes?

Ah, that got his attention. Honi giggled lightly, slowing down only a little while her companion dug around to write. "From everything I've heard, it was all real," she assured. "Of course, I didn't see it for myself, so I don't know for sure. I've found some pretty stones and metals before, but no actual gemstones." She headed for part of the river that was upstream from where she had hunted before. Maybe a second pair of eyes would yield new results? "Well, here we are." She smirked and held out her hands with a fancy flourish. "The first stop on our tour; the river."

Still, it was worth a shot, wasn't it? He didn't have anything to dig with, but that didn't mean he couldn't try. As the pair neared the river Eliazer looked it over and tried his best to determine a decent starting point. In all honesty he had no experience with anything like this so he just sort of stared for a moment before nodding and rearing down to unlace his boots. After a bit of fandangling he'd shimmied out of them, rolled his pant legs up and waded into the water. His bruises weren't kind to Eliazer as he crouched down into the water and on more than one occasion his face scrunched up with discomfort. Still, he dug around, keen on finding a little something.

Honi slipped out of her shoes easily and stepped right into the river without hesitation. "Could you imagine if I actually found some gemstones?" she gushed hopefully. She had her reservations, of course, but it was fun to dream~ "I could make the most expensive necklace to sell. Or maybe a bunch of little ones instead. I would definitely make something for my mother and sisters." A bit of shine caught her eye and she knelt down to sift around it carefully. Was it-?! Lips pouting slightly, she held up the bit of silver that she had gotten the skirt of her dress all wet for. "Well, it's something," she said with a shrug. She walked over to where Eliazar was hunting to show him her find, hoping he was having better luck.

Sisters? Had she mentioned them before and he just wasn't paying attention? Pondering it a moment, Eliazer ultimately shrugged his shoulders and kept digging through the silt. Having siblings wasn't uncommon, but he did wonder if they were all as accepting of strangers as she was or if they would have told the scruffy Geian to get lost. He picked up a bit of gold and held it up for inspection. Honestly, her bit of silver was more impressive than his find but at least it might pay for their lunches? And besides, today hadn't been about the find, anyway.
