When she had been summoned it had come without warning and she often wandered if anyone had seen here, either through the cameras or simply because they had been in the right place at the right time. As of yet no one had given her the bad news and she could only assume she had gotten away with it. However, with everything she had seen in her short time as well. this, she had come to realise that a degree of subtlety for certain things was a requirement rather than a suggestion.

She had made a promise and in that, she had sworn not to take risks. Safe to say in the last weeks she had not been particularly good at that, but she had a mind to change it.

As a result, the young woman had elected to find more obscure locations than quiet parks or empty alleys to attempt to travel between worlds. Given that certain locations weren't always immediately forthcoming, it had been a chance encounter in work that had presented her with a location that had a measure of potential. It was still a park in a certain sense, but unlike some of the others this particular one had a series of wildlife trails that led into much deeper and darker regions of the forests.

It wouldn't be busy at this time in the evening, and given she had chosen one of the longer trails while it was particularly late, it would lower the probability of any dog walkers wandering about as well. Surprisingly, she didn't find the location too alarming as she walked quietly along the beaten path. There would have been times when she would have been frightened by the very possibility of someone or something popping out at her but now...

There were worse things hiding right in front of her, often in broad daylight.

Clearing her throat the woman concentrated, drawing the power from the relic in her hands until she had transformed into the now familiar 'costume'. It was here that she would try to commune and reach her Wonder again. She hadn't been successful the last time, she had been missing something fundamental, but with like all things practice made perfect and perhaps tonight would be the night.

...At least here if she ended up loitering on the same spot for a considerable amount of time no one would pause to look right? She was the only one here after all.
