If you could bend any element, what would it be and why?
I personally would enjoy being a waterbender. I like the Tai Chi movements waterbenders move, and I think that it's a very diverse element. It just seems like it would be a very relaxing element to bend, and very powerful at the same time.

I would have to say Water bending too when the people on Avatar water bend they seem so relaxed but the others seem tough

Earth is my favorite element anyway, but aside from that, it looks like a good workout. xO
And of course, assuming we had to deal with the environment that the element is typically learned in, Earth is what I would prefer. Fire Nation is too hugely developed... I dun like big cities, Air Nomads are nonexistant, and Water Tribe areas are too wintery. I hate the cold. x(

I need the fire. I'm always freezing and it would just be very convenient for me to be able to make my own fire whenever I need it. And that would be all the time.

 I'd be an airbender. I'd love to be able to glide, plus, I fit the average description of an airbender; Freespirited, kind, happy, hyper-ish, ect. (Excluding those evil monks. evil )

i'd be an earthbender
my personality seems to suit it. calm and intimidating at most time without realy trying and then a rockslide of force when needed mrgreen

 All of my friends say I'd be a waterbender, but I'd like to be an air bender. Or a kittybender. I'd bend kitties! 4laugh Or wait, would that be bad... :c

I would so totally Firebend AND Earthbend.
Tell me why ther's no metalbenders? In the true ancient Chinese elements, it was Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Metal. So shouldn't there be metalbenders? I'm really glad they didn't make them though. That would make my fanfiction suck.

Well, I don't think metal benders would make sense for show purposes. And I kind of lump it in with Fire. Firebenders can mold metal if they get it hot enough.

I would be an Earth Bender. Their movements are so solid and rooted. I'm not at all graceful, so it would probably be naturally easier for me as well as more fitting for my personality.

I hate the cold. x( well on yesterdays episode there were water benders in the swamp so you dont always have to be in wintery places thats more where the higher ups go and it makes one highly protected place in case of attacks i would probably bend Earth something about it seems to appeal to me and earth bending seems like it would give you the most you could expect from bending it since earth is all around

The ability to launch boulders at people being an added bonus. xD Air would be pretty cool though, if nothing else, for that crazy wallrun thing Aang always does. xD
