Maybe Naeria should not have been out in the parts of the city where the others were having their war.

Last time she'd been around here, she had ended up engaging a Negaverse agent, breaking the terms of the alliance that Lyndin had set. Of course, she did not think she agreed with that alliance, just as she knew she did not agree with many of his philosophies, but it was probably wrong to be openly defiant when she was living in the house that he had secured for her and the rest of the Vanguard.

She cut through the alleyways, anyway, in her shortcut to get to one of the more wild parks that she would scour for potential signs of new life now that the weather was shifting.

She stopped, anyway, when she saw a figure on her ComTech drawing closer.

This one was Order, and she was not sure what to make of that, either. She was not sure if she was supposed to try to talk. She was not sure that she wanted to talk.

She did not run, though. She just stood frozen, glancing over her shoulder.

Voyager was preparing another trip to his Wonder. This time he wouldn't be coming with anything to put up for display nor would he have a Mauvian guest with him, but this time he had brought a duster which the Wonder so desperately needed. He was shuffling things around in the bag that he was going to take with him on the ground, so when he finally closed it up and threw it over his shoulder he noticed the alien and jumped a bit! "Woah! You can't just sneak up on people like that!" He said in surprise. He would have said he could have hurt her, but from the distance between them, he could really only throw a rock or his bag or something. Nothing that would really do anything.

After he finally calmed down after a few seconds he looked at her. "You're one of those Valencians right?" His eyes narrowed for a moment, looking out for any blasters or weapons that were turned his way, but then softened when he didn't see that she was immediately ready to hurt him. "Is there... something you need or something I can help you with that doesn't involve helping the Negaverse?" He was happy to help, just not in a way that helped his enemies. But he did wonder why the alien appeared to be wandering around.

Naeria did not immediately respond to the human that appeared in front of her, the Knight, from what the evidence suggested. He did not have the trappings of a Senshi, but his energy still registered on her ComTech, and beyond that, he did not seem to be shocked by her alien appearance.

She blinked at him, twice.

"I did not sneak," she then told him, flatly. "I was here."

If he was so startled that he was going to attack, she was ready to pull out her blaster to defend herself with, but then he was asking if he could help, and that had her confused, too.

"I am Naeria, of the Velencyan Vanguard, yes. I am seeking information on this world, and perhaps others."

She kept her bright, owlish gaze locked on him. "Who are you?"

"Not on purpose, but either way, I didn't hear you." He said with a small smile. "I'm glad you weren't trying to at least. It's my fault for not paying attention!" After the battle he wasn't sure how it was going to work for Order and the aliens. Some had stayed with them, and he believed the majority of them to not want to kill Order on sight, but he wasn't sure of who was on who's side. So not being able to sense the aliens made him feel a bit weaker. At least Agents had the disadvantage of having their aura sensed unless they were with a Mauvian.

"Voyager, Page of Pluto! And I was just going to go back to my Wonder! I'm going to clean it up a bit since it's a little dusty." He said, almost sighing at the fact that he didn't have anything to bring there. "Would you like to come? I want as many people as possible to visit, so the more the merrier!"

Naeria listened to his explanation carefully and watched the way that he smiled. He seemed pleased, best that she could tell, which was good. She did not always know what it was that set the humans off and made them start attacking people. It was good that he was not truly mad at her just because she had startled him.

What he said next, though, was far more interesting.

Her golden eyes, already owlish, widened farther.

"You have a Wonder. On Pluto," she repeated, just to be sure, although she hadn't heard any doubt in his voice.

She returned his smile with one of her own, one that had a curious twinge to it. "I would love to see it." It was relevant to the Vanguard's mission, after all, to see the state of the universe, and that included Pluto. "I have to ask, though, how are you going to travel there?"

She hadn't noticed any spacecraft in the area.

Voyager was about to spew out that all Knights had a Wonder on whatever their respective allegiance was but decided not to. He wasn't sure which Vanguardians were on the Negaverse side and he knew that the Negaverse most likely knew that Knights had Wonders out there, but he didn't want to be spilling that information just because.

Instead he replied, "Yes! And I can take you there! It takes a bit of my energy to do so, but I'm getting the hang of it. And have brought a few snacks to build it back up." He said, patting the bag he had with him. He grinned at her question. "I just have to say the magic words and we'll be at the entrance before you can blink! That's an uh, expression. It might be a few blinks." He said. He had never timed it at least. He held his hand out to her. "You'll have to be touching me while I do this if you want to come. Can't just magic you there."

Naeria blinked, once, and looked confused for about a second before he explained that it might take a few blinks and that she would have to be touching him for it to work. Some of the humans' expressions still made little sense to her.

"Oh. Magic," she said. "That makes sense."

She stepped forwards and gingerly laid a hand on his shoulder.

"We do not have much magic on Velencya," she said. "No senshi," or, at least, no senshi who had access to his powers, "No knights. This is all new to me."

It was appealing, though, especially the concept of instantaneous space travel.

Voyager grinned to her as she put her hand on his shoulder. "I hope you don't regret this. It's not the most... cleaned thing, but I still like to have all of the guests that I can!" He looked a bit sad at her. He knew they probably didn't have Senshi and Knights. Though it wasn't too surprising considering the battle that they had with the Negaverse and Velencians over the fact that their Prince was supposed to be their Senshi. And without their Senshi, Knights were almost impossible unless they awakened under something else.

But he didn't comment. Instead he said the magic words and the next time he opened his eyes they were at the "entrance". It was just a spot that had the path that led to the Wonder. Unless one could see through the darkness, they would be unable to see the ship from here. He nodded to her. "Just have to follow these torches and we'll be there shortly!" He said, excited to be here again and starting to walk towards the ship. He was only here to dust some things and see if he could repair any small items until they went back. Next time he would bring more materials and cleaning supplies!

"I am not afraid of dirt," said Naeria, her grip on his shoulder not shifting. Dirt grew things. In fact, the dirt and the disorganized wilderness of Earth were some of her favorite things here.

She was interested in whatever Voyager had to show her, regardless of the state of it.

When he recited some sort of spell, she did not close her eyes. Instead, she did her best to watch and take note of every part of the transition. It was all unspeakably fast. Everything blurred for less than a second, and then they were standing somewhere completely different.

The darkness here was not completely unfamiliar. Velencya looked similar, sometimes, when it was far away from any stars. The torches here were more primitive than the artificial lights her people tended to use, but understood their purpose.

"This is Pluto?" she asked, glancing around as wide-eyed as ever. "Your travel speed truly is impressive."

"Excellent." He would have said something about the dust irritating her lungs but... did they have lungs? Or was it something different for them? He would have to ask sometime later.

He nodded at her question. "Yep! Pretty dark, though not surprising considering how far away it is from the sun. But there's a lot of things I don't understand about celestial objects and how they work. I mean, people can land on Jupiter when it's supposed to be impossible..." He said with a shrug. "Not sure how the traveling works, but it's great that the trips aren't long. I would have to pack a lot more!" He started to walk along the path that the torches were lined upon.

It only took a minute or so and eventually the lighting illuminating the ship could be seen. Voyager was always in awe of it. It was like having his own large passenger cruise ship, that looked like it came out of a Pirates of the Caribbean film, to himself with how big it was. Only it didn't move and half of it was apparently always unusable but still! "And here it is! I think it fits the name quite well, Voyager. Apparently there's some sort of sand sea around here but the ship can't move anyway, that I know of, so I can't go out and explore it, but I need to concentrate on the Wonder anyway." He turned to her, smiling broadly. "It's a work in progress so far, but I'm quite happy with it even if it does need some fixing."

Naeria did have lungs, but they were not so irritated by any of the dust or sand that she disliked this place, or wanted to go back.

The fact that he did not know how the traveling worked only made her curiosity grow stronger. She did not press the issue, though, as she followed behind him silently. It seemed like something the traveler Kurma might know, but she did not know if he would give her a straight answer on it from him.

Her thoughts were pulled away from all that as they approached the main part of his wonder, the ship.

Naeria had read about sailing ships, of course, just as she had read about nearly everything she could find records on, but it wasn't like she'd ever seen one with her own eyes. Now, on top of being on a new planet, she was looking at something like this.

"Oh," she whispered, even though it was still hard to see with the shadows. "This is fascinating. It can sail on the sand? I want to look closer at it."

She stepped forwards, walking faster than before.

"Yes, it is a beautiful, fascinating transportation device."

"It might be able to, but I haven't found a way so far. I've heard that there was a smaller ship around here somewhere that they used to use, but I haven't been able to find it. Might have gotten lost in one of those weird pools in the sand." He said with a vague gesture to the sand that surrounded the ship.

Naeria was heading towards it a bit quicker now and Voyager grinned. "Wait till you see the inside! I've only been able to dust it a little and gotten to one of the treasure rooms that it supposedly has, but then again I am only a Page and haven't visited it that much. So it's going to need a lot more work." If only he could do his work for the museum here. He would get so much more done at his Wonder then! Or perhaps he should see if he could take a day off every three weeks.

The gangway of the ship was soon visible and led into a darkened corridor. Voyager hadn't thought to close it. He didn't believe that the Negaverse could come here at this time and he didn't think that there were sand storms around. "Come on in! There isn't much in there except some tea bags and a kettle I managed to scrounge up if you want anything to drink, otherwise you're free to explore!" He said as he headed up the gangway into the ship.

A smaller boat, lost to time? That was an interesting thought, too, but Naeria pushed it to the back of her mind as she tried to focus on what was here, now. The Page still seemed very concerned about all of the dust and dirt, so as she followed him up the gangway, she said, "Let me know if there is anything I can help with today. I am learning about cleaning."

She had not been incorporating house cleaning into her routine the way that Fae-Fae had, but she had been trying to help some, and if she could, she would help here, too.

Although it was possible that she should have been listening more to his warnings, because when she stepped across the threshold, the dust hit her upper respiratory system all at once and she sneezed.

Then, pretending it was nothing, she sniffled a few times and began to glance around. "I do like tea," she said. It was one of the Earth beverages that she had already tried, so she could answer the question with confidence. "So. Please."

The fact that she was learning about cleaning caused an eyebrow to raise. "Really? Sorry if this is rude of me to ask but is your ship self-cleaning? That sounds amazing if it is!" If it were true, perhaps he could ask if he could borrow some of that technology for his Wonder! But it did make him question a bit.

But that was all he would ask for now. He didn't want to be even more rude if she was offended by the first question!

He wasn't surprised when he heard the sneeze though, but he was a bit embarrassed. He really needed to clean here. "Sorry about that, let's go straight to the galley to get you that tea! That should fix some of the coughing!" He said as he took a left at the end of the hallway and then another left down a flight of stairs before he opened another door. The galley was quite large, which was interesting for a ship that only had one occupant at a time. But it had wood that he had supplied and he would be able to boil some water that he had brought in the kettle over the open fire.

And it wasn't filled with dust! The door had apparently kept it from enduring as much of the sand as some of the other parts of the ship. There were lights lining the walls and over head as well. There were tables and chairs and in the middle an island kitchen and on the wall farthest from them was where he was able to prepare anything. So far it was just boiled water, but that was more than enough for now!

He quickly got to work on making the tea, he had brought some packets of tea and got the mugs he had brought on an earlier trip ready. "Go ahead and sit wherever you want! These should be ready quickly here!"

He seemed so nervous when asking about self cleaning elements of the Velencian ship, and Naeria could not help but wonder why, when Earth culture seemed open about asking many questions, that one was considered rude.

"Many elements of life are automated on Velencya, yes," she replied, "Including cleaning. There is also little soil and no sand, which simplifies matters." Of course there would always be some dust, but she didn't think it would build up nearly so much as it had in some of the surfaces she was looking at in Voyager's ship.

"But on our transports and especially now that we are here on Earth, we do not have access to the same technology, so I am learning about things like Swiffers."

According to the advertisements she had watched, Swiffers were more efficient than Earth's previous technology, the Broom and Dustpan.

When they reached the galley, she settled into one of the chairs, sitting cross-legged while she watched Voyager prepare the tea.
