Zohra 1
He'd gotten Sio up onto his back to carry her since he wasn't so sure her walking around with that wound on her hip was such a good idea. Now with his hands under her legs to keep her from slipping down he walked toward where he'd last seen Iexa. Going to their big brother was likely the best idea since he was fairly certain they would be in trouble with the parents.
"Hang on tight Sio." He knew Lynx was in Oba right now, something about getting another animal. Zasha and Ari would likely freak out at the sight of them.
Zohraduri had a bruise blooming on his cheek and jaw as well as his ribs and his knuckles on one hand were busted and scraped open. He clearly looked like he'd gotten into a fight. Didn't help that he hadn't even bothered to put his shirt back on. He was still just in his swim shorts.

Sio 1
She gave a huff as she adjusted her hold on Zohra. Riding piggy back wasn't new to her so she knew how it worked. Still her hip really hurt. The skin was shredded from being pushed off the bolder and into the water. By now the blood had slowed down but her leg was still covered in it and now so was Zohra's side. Movement caused fresh blood to seep out so she tried not to move too much. Her split lip was swollen and looked a lot worse since it wasn't cleaned off.
A long sigh left her as she leaned her head forward and onto Zohra's shoulder. She hadn't put her dress back on so she was still just in her swim suit. But she had both of their dry clothes clutched in one hand for when they got home.

Iexa 1
Iexa was harvesting some herbs that would go well with supper. He looked up from his tuft of grass, he had been mostly hidden before, now he could see that he actually had company.
"Hey guys...wow." He paused. "What happened?!" He dropped his herb basket and knelt before them, checking Siofra's side and lip and examining Zohra's bruises.
"Gah, that has to hurt. I'll get you guys cleaned up and then I would like to hear the story."
He looked down and tossed the food herbs. He would need the healing ones now. He walked to a different bushed and started mashing the berries in his fingers making a sticky past that happily didn't smell that bad.
"I think I have some bandages packed too."
They might look like little mummies after he was done but at least they would hopefully feel better. He knew it always felt better once his Mom or Dad had doctored his wounds as a kid.
"Do I need to murder anyone in particular?" He asked as he dabbed at Siofra's lip with a wet cloth to clear the blood so he could put some ointment on.

Zohra 2
He cringed a little when his brother asked what happened. "Uh.. we slipped?" How believable was that? Zohraduri didn't think his older brother would really believe him but if it kept them out of trouble then he would gladly go with the little lie.
He shifted Sio on his back slightly as he moved to get closer to Iexa. He stopped moving when his brother paid attention to his cousin's lip. "Nah.. I think they got the point... er, I mean the ground got it worse..?" So Zo was horrible at lying.. not his fault.

Sio 2 She said nothing, which wasn't unusual, and only watched her older cousin from her position on Zohra's back. Of course Zo felt the need to lie and she rolled her eyes. She supposed the slipped thing could be applied to her. The jagged cut on her hip would certainly hold up under the lip. The busted lip not so much. Nor would Zohra's bruises. Those clearly came from a fist. When Iexa started to dab at her lip she hissed a little and cringed. Her hands moved to sign at him. 'Hurts.' The wince was a very visible 'Ow!' and when he went over the wider part of the split in her lip she pulled back due to the pain.

Iexa 2 He turned a look that despite the color of his eyes looked disturbingly like their mother's on Zohra. "We both know that you two didn't trip into this. Tell me the truth and I won't make it troublesome for you. Hiding the truth from me will just get you in trouble that much quicker, whereas if you let me know what really happend I can address the issue without involving Mom and Dad." He didn't want to involve the parents period as he was sure that some little brats just needed a tuning in. He was absolutely sure that these two hadn't gone out for a brawl on purpose. "I'm so sorry Sio, its just about clean, the salve will numb it a bit." He didn't use the berries on her but a special healing salve that he kept on him at all times. It was mixed with a plant that had nice numbing abilities, so her poor lip wouldn't hurt too much longer. He wanted to pound whoever had done this into a pulp.

Seeing the look being used on him made him cringe. That was never a good sign. When there was a pause in Iexa tending to Sio's lip he moved so that he could put her down. "Here Sio, stand up." He told her so she'd know what he was doing if it wasn't already obvious. Once she was down he looked at his older brother then scratched at the side of his neck.
"Okay so, I didn't slip." A bit of a wince was given. "And neither did Sio. She was pushed." His other hand motioned to her hip. "The rock cut her pretty good." Zohra cleared his throat some. "But uhm.. you know, just the other kids being stupid." He was doing his level best to look everywhere but at his brother now. When he caught Sio trying to sign again he reached out to stop her hands. "No, Sio, shush."

Sio 3 She got to her feet as her cousin put her down, her eyes looking down to make sure she had good footing. When she looked back up she gave a half smile, doing her best to not move the split side of her lip. Seeing Zohra squirm a bit under his brother's gaze was amusing. Then he went into a half-hearted explanation of what happened and she snorted. Her hands came up to sign, to gain Iexa's attention, but Zohra thought he was gonna stop her. She swatted at his hands to get him to knock it off then moved back a step so she was out of range for a second. 'Koti pushed me off the bolder we always dive off. I didn't know he was coming so I slid and got cut.' She explained about her hip. To be fair, the bleeding had mostly stopped but that was more due to the sand and dried blood but it likely needed to be stitched. 'Zohra and I decided we would teach the other kids a lesson for what they were saying.' Which would explain her lip and Zohra's bruises.

Some days he felt very old. This was one of those days. He wished he had been there to scare the bad kids off before they hurt his brother and sister. He continued to stare at Zohra for a moment before turning his complete attention to Sio. "I see Sio," sometimes when she signed he could swear there was a voice to go along with it even though no sound came from her. "What was it that they were saying Sis?" He respected this brave girl very much, he was proud to be her big brother/cousin. What had been so bad that Zohra did not want him to hear the truth?

He groaned as he watched Sio explain some things. He really didn't want his big brother to know what all was said. Mostly because his older brothers were more mama's boys than he was. When Iexa asked what was said he closed his eyes and waited for the inevitable. His brother was going to be mad...

Sio 4 Okay, so she hadn't thought she'd have to tell him what was said exactly, so she fidgeted a little. Although she finally did bring her hands up again to sign to Iexa. 'The other kids were talking about me... and...' She paused a little. Her gaze flickered over to Zohra and noticed his eyes were closed like he was waiting for the shoe to drop. So Siofra cleared her throat and glanced back at Iexa. Her hands were a little paralyzed so she whispered to him instead. "They said I'm not real family first, then they said Thea cheated and that's how I was born." Sio was known to whisper from time to time, and since it was both her cousins she wasn't as shy as when she was around strangers. Quickly, after she said the words, her hands moved. 'I'm sorry Iexa! I don't mean to make trouble for Thea.'

Iexa 4 He saw the hurt in her eyes and hugged her close. "You did nothing wrong in fact I am proud of you for standing up for yourself, never tell Thea that I said fighting was good but in this case yes. They deserve far worse, little brats." To hurt a sweetie like Sio, they judged before they knew what a lovely girl she was. He ground his teeth. "You too Zohra, though best not to lie to me. Best to tell me or Lynx first."

He cringed a little. Mostly he hadn't wanted his older brother to yell at him, but when he didn't he felt bad for lying. Then of course there was Sio's crying. He moved close and wrapped his arms around her as well. She was younger than him so it was up to him to make her feel better. "It's alright Sio. I told you not to pay attention to the other kids." None of his siblings thought like the other kids did so it wasn't a big deal.
"Sorry for lying, Iexa. Just didn't want to get yelled at." He looked at his big brother with an embarrassed look.

Sio 5 When she was hugged by both her cousins she couldn't help but cry a bit. She looked down as best as she could but managed a nod. With them hugging her it wasn't like she could sign to them so that they could understand. "Sorry." Her whispered voice came out once again. Siofra wasn't exactly sure what it was she was apologizing for this time. Either what was said, her fighting, or the lies her cousin had tried to say. The apology would work of all of them. Shifting slightly she tried to get a better stance to take weight off her injured hip. "Still hurts.."

"I promise not to yell unless it is actually deserved, but lying is going the right way for it. Thank you for coming clean. I also would have done the exact same thing in your shoes." He addressed them both while keeping a comforting hand on Sio's shoulder. He wanted desperately to ask for the kid's names so that he and his twin could give them a lesson on how to respect other people's families. But he was also reasonably sure that neither child would tell him to avoid any backlash. Though he would ensure that no one would dare speak untowardly to his family again with the severity of the scaring the kids would receive. Instead he said. "If this occurs again, or if you suspect it will occur again, you are to release the names of the culprits to me or Lynx okay?"
