Hobbies:

Painting -- A fitting hobby (and college minor) for someone who works at an art gallery, Partridge is a big painter. He is very eclectic though, preferring the more...messy, types of painting, pours, slinging, at times just using his hands as the brush, though this isn't to say he's not bad with a brush or a digital pen, in fact, he's actually very very good with traditional, and has only recently embraced eclectic as a way to let out his frustrations and stress with school and work.

Antiquing/Thrifting -- He LOVES going to antique stores, vintage boutiques, flea markets and estate and yard sales and finding the most out there items he can, his studio apartment, when not taken up by his art, is filled quite nicely with bizarre antiques, recycled junk turned furniture, and the occasional, beloved, creepy old toy turned knick knack. Partridge makes it his mission to know the location of every antique store, second hand shop, and out of town flea market.

Virtues:



Personable -- Partridge is a very sociable person, he's easy to get along with, and knows just what to say. From his sharp, pleasing yet not too outlandish clothing, to his soft, knowing smiles, Partridge is just the guy for the job of lending his ear, or being the right hand man, he rarely flips from his calm personable attitude.

Meticulous -- He is also quite meticulous, you can always find him around the gallery on his work days tidying up, making sure the art installations and exhibitions look their most presentable best. Or you can find him at the front desk, dusting and straightening things out. A place for everything, and everything in it's place, whether at work or in his home, an old spacious loft he rents for pretty cheap, nothing is upset or untidy for him.

Flaws:



Two faced -- But underneath that placid, personable front is a very two faced man. Partridge won't hesitate to bad mouth or talk down about the galleries attendees, especially the more to do ones. He makes sure to keep it as far from his work of course, but sometimes he can...slip. Sneaking in a slightly more sharp, mean comment in the middle of dealing with an irate guest or even critiquing some of the galleries own pieces and artists.


Judgiing -- Which, his two faced nature ties well into his scrutinizing judgement. Nothing and noone is really safe when Partridge is about, giving his rather unsolicited, mostly unwanted, Judging looks and comments. Something out of place that someone else at work did? He's gonna scrutinize and judge. Floor a bit dusty? Judging the night cleaners. That one woman who will not shut up about her sizeable, probably fake, art collection. Oh yeah, he's judging her and her taste in hats.

Clothes: dresses the more modern professional, and very fashionable. no grungy artist looks for them, they are the trend setting, example setter of the gallery, at the gallery being the key word, he is not like that at his studio apartment or on his days off, preferring more relaxed clothing, shorts, tees, baggy sweaters, and tanktops. Though, he has a little weakness for pastels, and flowers, so sometimes you'll find either incorporated into his style, whether that's a proper suit, sometimes sans tie sometimes a tie fitting the occasion, or his more relaxed cardigan and jeans looks

Family History: The only son of the wealthy DuMont family in France, Partridge actually was born and raised there for two years, before his parents lost their wealth and were forced to move to America, ( His Mother having been the one to engage in high stakes gambling, squandering her families fortune), though retained their aristocratic (snobbish) nature, even in the midst of now being a part of societies lowest level, and arguing constantly, Partridge would develop quite the complex due to his upbringing, eventually he would leave them for unknown reasons, arriving in Destiny City with nothing but a fine arts degree and a down payment for a cheap apartment, the warehouse loft he now calls home he got lucky and won in an auction when he was at his wits end apartment hunting,

Catherine Dumont: Mother, no longer in contact with due to a falling out. He does not disclose his relationship with her to anyone, though it is always one google search away.

Augustine Dumont: Father, no longer in contact with due to a falling out. The same as his mother, he discusses neither of them with anyone.
