Liio was grateful that he and his sister had decided to help, he was sure a few lives might have been lost if the party hadn't rushed to solve the problem of the wildfire. To hear it was from a stray storm was quite surprising, though if he thought deeper on it they were facing a dry season. Either way, the villagers would hopefully find ways to prevent a spread in the future, either with water or some sort of fire blocks. For now, covered in soot and exhausted, Liio was heading back to a local village that wanted to celebrate the hard work with drinks and food. His sister was around here somewhere, but the hybrid found himself wandering with one of the other members of their makeshift party.

Aeuri was so surprised at how his day ended up. What started out as a moment for his family to rest turned into a race against wildfire. His muscles ached, his head throbbed, but he felt happy that he followed his brother toward the smoke. He was able to help a lot of people, and he felt his confidence grow from the experience.
He might not be the strongest, but he showed that he could still help in a crisis if he put his mind to it.
As he walked, he found himself near one of the others, covered in soot, and glanced over.
"I can help with any burns if you have them..." He offered slowly.

He turned at the offer, surprise alight on his green eyes before he looked down at his person. There weren't any major burns, though his hands were cracked. Maybe he did have burns but not notice? Being a mage, he's been used to a few sears from failed spells.
"Oh...well if you're offering." He said with a rasp, coughing to clear his voice but smiling in a friendly way none the less as he held out his palms.

He moved in to put his hands over Liio's, hovering as his magic washed over the boy. His voice was low, the spell a whisper, and then it was done and Aeuri stepped away with a smile.
"...there you go." He said as he let out a breath.

Looking down at his hands, he was still fascinated by how different arts of magic could such amazing things. He wasn't really into the whole healing thing, but he could appreciate it just as much as the flames and storms he himself caused.
Glancing to Liio, he nodded in thanks before gesturing for them to continue with the crowd.
"If you're anything like me, you must be starving after...everything today."

Smiling in response to the thanks, Aeuri was pleased he could once again do something to help others, and nodded as they began to walk with the crowd.
"I'm absolutely drained. I'm probably going to stuff myself and pass out, if I'm honest."

Oh yeah, he could eat. He wasn't one to stuff himself, as he was always traveling, but he could agree with Aeuri that the workout they had today warranted a feast. And it seemed the villagers were willing to give it to them.
"You and me both, friend. I need to refill my energy, it's at empty."
To prove his point, he snapped his finger, but only a spark came out before fizzling. Intentional or not, Aeuri wouldn't really know.

His eyes were bright as they watched the magic Liio could summon, reminding him of his sister's own abilities. It was always great to see spell casters, there was something beautiful about it.
"Oh yeah." He broke himself out of his thoughts, "You were pretty great out there, by the way. My name's Aeuri. Didn't get much time for introductions..."

"Name's Liio. And you weren't half bad yourself. Nice to officially meet you, Aeuri." He replied with a smirk, patting the healer on the shoulder before they finally got to the grand gathering.
Music was starting to be played, a low rumbling that echoed across the group as some began to dance. The smell of food filled the air like the thick smoke of the fire, but instead of warning it was summoning the closer.

Smiling in a friendly way, comfortable with the hybrid next to him, Aeuri looked out and nodded toward where the food was. As if summoned by the smells, they walked closer, and were pushed to the front after being recognized for their efforts.
Aeuri tried to resist, tried to stay behind, but eventually accepted it and was grabbing some food.

Liio wasn't as bothered with the crowd pushing them forward, smiling in response to those who thanked them and grabbing a big plate of food. The meat was sizzling and the spices were plentiful. Tale was always the land that he enjoyed most in terms of food, though Zena was a close second.
But that was mostly how the food soothed his cold bones.

Aeuri let out a pleased moan as he bit into the food, looking at Liio with wide eyes.
"This is amazing. I can't get over how tender the meat is here. Tale really is one of the best hunting regions!"
He took another bite, and it was just as good the second time as the first. Amazing!

"All things considered, this wasn't that bad of a way to get our name out there. We're heroes, if just for a few more hours."
He jested lightly, continuing to eat his own meat before waving for someone to pass a glass of the spiced wine, "Try this, it's strong but a treat".

Aeuri watched the other boy take a sip, and was hesitant. He never was the one to induldge, but he was getting along so well with his comrade in arms that he felt a bit of pressure to just try it. He took a sip and grimaced, but swallowed down the liquid that was burning a little bit.
"This is...something unique..." He said with a cough, moving to dare take another sip and see if the result would change. Spoiler, it didn't.

The leaf hybrid laughed, before shaking his head at the meek healer in front of him, "Sip on it, especially if you haven't had it before!"
While he took gulps, many others also were sipping, showing that Liio was a bit more...relaxed with his consumption.
"Man, you really aren't from around here...where are you heading anyway?"
